Blueberry basil cocktail

First-- expect to spend a good $70+ per person if you have anything but water. This is an upscale version of an all you can eat buffet. They have four sides, double-decker for cold dishes. A huge variety of pasta, veggie, salad options. They also have another wall of shaving dishes with soups, potatoes, and other rotating hot items. The meats are carved at your table, and they come by pretty frequently if you have the green up. The variety of meats, seasonings, and cuts are superb! The grilled pineapple is to die for! It's my absolute favorite each time I come here, I don't even touch the desserts. All I want is the grilled pineapple! The cocktails are well crafted, and very reasonable. Most of them around the $8 to $10 range. Tonight I had a blueberry basil that was just fantastic!

Came here to say for Mother's Day brunch and it was a nice choice. We had 11:30 reservations and it was t crowded and all the food options were widely available. About $65 per adults and $20 per kid. Likes the experience.

The holy trinity. The picanha, the top sirloin, and the pineapple. This restaurant is immaculate. The service is amazing, staff is so friendly and personable! The salad bar? Insane. So many amazing options, such a diverse selection. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone!

Tonight I dined at Samba Brazilian Grill and have mixed feelings about my experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic, with a lively and vibrant energy that adds to the overall dining experience. The decor is amazing and I love the different levels and seating arrangements there are. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was prompt. However, I was a little underwhelmed by the food. The majority of the food was only average and lacked the bold flavors I was expecting from a Brazilian grill. Also, the buffet was mediocre. Not bad but also not good; very mixed vibes from this place. The meat was cooked well, but not as flavorful as I had hoped. It all kind of tasted the same and I didn't like how you couldn't pick where you wanted your meat cut from (medium, medium well, etc). I'm not sure I would rush back to dine here again. I mean, the place itself is cute and cozy but the food just isn't to quality standards.

Never tried Brazilian bbq before so was interested to try at Samba! Overall quality of the food was decent but not sure if i'd go again considering the price. Enjoyed the diversity of options at the salad bar, some meat cuts were definitely better than others-- i recommend the andouille sausage, the pineapple, and the top sirloin. Service was intermittent but I didn't mind since i'm more of a slow eater. Wish there was more lighting, felt like I was gonna trip walking back to my table lol

Friday night was my first experience dining at Samba Brazilian Grill. The lighting is good for a steak house. The salad bar was not your standard salad bar the vegetables I noticed was a zucchini salad, hearts of palm and lettuce. There were four types of dressings. There was a cold noodle salad, A cheese cube and meat spread, a cold pulled chicken in sauce, three types of salsa. Candied almonds, candied pecans. Three types of warm soup were offered & warm white rice. A large basket of home made Brazi Bites was waiting at the salad bar for anyone who dare try. There was also sourdough bread available. I believe I tried all of meat, and cinnamon pineapple it was all quite delicious. Move over apple pie! I would highly recommend this for meat eating friends!

Brunch is $25/pp now versus $15 it used to be.

I understand inflation is real, the owners have tax cases and things cost money but I walked away flabbergasted that there's no way anyone can justify this place costing the same as Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao. I was confused as I never recall paying $45/pp. I've returned a few times each time I'm in town and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sunday brunch. I will say it's nice to have such a place in town versus driving to Chicago even Milwaukee. Nonetheless, I saw if you're redeeming a GroupOn they'll access a 20% tip and I get that and support it to ensure the staff is properly compensated. So, 5 stars for keeping the pineapple on the grill. 2 stars for not working harder to keep the fruit flies away as I swatted too many last night. 5 stars for the place and free parking. Although, there was a street event 8/9/19 and I had to pay for parking. 2 stars for the service. I thought the place closed at 10p. I got on Yelp and see it does close at 10p yet they started shutting down at 9pm and although everyone stressed we didn't have to rush... the check being tendered proved otherwise and the guachos stopped walking around. A direct request for things was honored and they brought pina over. I'd still recommend this place in a heartbeat. I'll host events here as I still like the venue. I know I'm getting older because I felt more light would be great yet they the sexy date night lighting, in effect.

Ask the Community - Samba Brazilian Grill

Is there a kids price? We have a 1 year old and are debating bringing him or hiring a babysitter.

I assume they don't have one because we weren't offered when we went there with a 2-year-old; we let them eat off our plate and it wasn't an issue. The waitstaff is pretty casual so I imagine they let kids slide.

Is this authentic churrasco? Or some Americanized version? Sera que alguem que entende pode me responder, por favor? E bom ou nao? Valeu

Very Americanized.

What's the price for per person with no drinks?

$35.00

What is the cost for one person to eat for dinner with no drinks?

The cost of the rodizio & salad bar (approximately 9 different meats and a plethora of salad bar selections) is about $37.00. Then, obviously, add tax and tip from there. You can also opt for only the salad bar, which is a discounted price, and on… Read more

If you come during peak time just know you may need to wait a bit as everything is made fresh to order. They were also sold out of a lot of things but we got to try their cheese balls, chicken arepa, arepa pepiada, and their Brazilian ribs arepa. The cheese balls came out piping hot, we got 4 with our order. They were little balls of fluffy cheese breads that have a similar texture to mochi. It was great! We shared or arepas so we could try more, and none of them disappoint. The chicken arepa was by far my favorite, it was creamy, cheesy, full and full of flavor. The ribs one was a tad dry for me. We did order extra sauces but we didn't get them, and we didn't want to ask as they were too busy. Busy maybe with the sauces it would've helped. The cafe itself is super cute and small inside but the have a whole back patio that's perfect for the nice weather for you to enjoy. Overall, a good experience. We may just go during off times to avoid our super long wait for our food.

The owner is one of the nicest people you will meet and you can see the sheer passion just oozing from him. He makes you feel like a guest in his own home and he is so obviously proud of the food he serves. That pride is well deserved -- this is some of the best Venezuelan food I've ever had, anywhere in the world. The pabéllon and the reina pepeada are especially worthy of mention, with the pabéllon in specific being one of the best things I've ever eaten. The yuca frita is delightful -- fried to perfection, with a delicious chimmichuri-esque drizzle. The kids arepa is hilarious and hilariously good -- a ham and cheese delight tuned for the very German influenced palate around here. My kids and I hope to sample every last item on the menu. My only worry is that this is not a style of food that generally gets a lot of attention in this town -- this place is always rather empty whenever I come. I would love to see lines out the door, because that's what this place deserves, and that's how good the food is here. The fate of many ethnic restaurants in this area seems to be to go under -- and oftentimes that's not commentary on the quality of the food. The palate of the general population in this area tends to be less adventurous, and that puts restaurants like this at a disadvantage. That is to say: please come experience this place. Please come eat here. Please help make sure that this place sticks around.

Service was almost nonexistent unless you count servers yelling across the restaurant, and ignoring us. We had empty water pitchers, food that was slung on to a plate and looking at filthy tables. It's honestly shocking because this used to be a well-managed spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Now it feels chaotic, immature, and uncomfortable for anyone expecting an actual dining experience. If you're looking for dinner, you may want to keep driving.
