Julio (the owner) did my oil change one day and he left the cap that needs to be SECURELY CLOSED AND TIGHTENED open. When I moved my car from my parking spot the next day I noticed a large oil spill. I quickly took it back and he noticed what he had done and admitted to what he did. He said that Volkswagens need to be "tightened more than other cars". I asked him if he was going to add more oil and he said no because he had "added a little extra" so it didn't need it. A few weeks later my car started shaking when I would be at a complete stop so I took it to a mechanic. They said the oil level was low and that there was damage due to driving it with low oil. I HAD TO PAY $1,170 at the Volkswagen dealer because a regular mechanic told me to take it there because he could he could not perform this extensive repair. Even though they fixed this issue they said there is possible engine damage due to driving it with low oil. I spoke with Julio (THE OWNER of JC TIRES AND OIL CENTER) and asked if he was going to take accountability for HIS MISTAKE. He said that it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to be checking the oil and that my car probably burnt the oil. The mechanics that checked my car said that Volkswagens do not burn oil and besides that it is just a 2014 it is not that old to be burning oil.

From driving up, one of the new Asst Mgrs, Johnathan, was super helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He lpresented me with recommendations and listened to my concerns from the past. And offered accommodations. Then drove in to the stall and was helped by Jacqueline. Jacqueline was a very nice young lady who explained everything to Me with a smile. When the oil change was completed (super quick), she showed me on the dipstick my new oil level, as they do, and ensured all my sensors were reset. Before reaching into my car, she asked permission, Which I thought was very thoughtful. Really great experience with Jacqueline as well. Ulysses, One of the new managers came over to just touch base with me and do a checks and balances and again let me know the recommendations. Very professional. Great experience overall! So he proceeds to check all the light okay then he checks the filters and yes they are dirty so we have them changed. But as we begin to start the car it takes longer to start than normal. Which it was starting just fine before we came in. So the first guy Kiki says looks like your battery is good but looks like your starter may be going out. (Yeah right ) So we talked to the guy doing the oil change n he took a look and of course mysteriously it started right up again. Well we know they disconnected the battery cable connection So I am not happy at all with this establishment! They quoted us one price for the oil change n charged us another! Total price we ended up paying was over $222 just for oil change n 2 filters!! Never again will we go here. If you're thinking about going here, think again and drive away!

Enough of being a doom pilled, pessismistcel. Went to work in the morning and had a flat tire. Filled it with air but there was a slight bulge in the tire and the "Firestone" logo was sheared off of the NEWLY replaced tire from the collision center back in December... It retained the air throughout the work day, but I definitely needed to get it fixed. I had plans the next day and for the rest of the busy week, and of course work the next day, so it had to be something fixed ASAP. I checked the appointment system for Firestone. Unfortunately, the one closer to my house had no appointments left, but this location had one at 6 PM. I guess, this one is later than the others? No nonsense. Straight to the point and no extra small talk or whatever. I actually like that. There's a waiting area with a TV on, I think some magazines, some seats, and restrooms that are password protected (it's a busy area near the mall so I guess that makes sense). With the mall nearby, I just killed time there. I dropped my car off at around 4:45 PM and then got it back at 6:15 PM-ish. Check out was easy. Tire replaced. Tire pressure light isn't on anymore (had this error ever since I got this car, so this was nice). Not the cheapest experience, but what can you do? Got the job done.
