We used to take Athena to a different groomer but we wanted to try a new one so we decided to try groomingdales. Our appointment was at 11 and we had no wait at all to get checked in. The girl who checked us in asked us exactly what we wanted done to Athena and wrote it all down so nothing would be done that we didn't want. So the only thing I thought was insane was they asked for 4 hours to get her done, but it ended up taking about 3 1/2 hours. Athena is very good for the groomer so they were about to scissor shape her body. The girls were very sweet and Athena seemed to be happy when she left. Her new haircut looks great and we will be bringing her back for her future cuts.

I have had people stop me in the past and say how well groomed he is, even on vacation in another state. Of all the pet salons I have ever taken any of my dogs to, both past and present, Your Best Friend is by far the best. And for the reasons stated above it saddens me to say that I will not be taking my dogs back to this salon. And here is why: When I last took my dogs into the salon this past December, the gentleman who works there came out to take my dogs into the grooming area sporting a Trump 2024 hat. Resisting the urge to vomit, I almost grabbed my dogs and walked out the door. And I probably should have. But I didn't. I'm disappointed more than anything else because I had finally found someone who knew how to properly groom a Pomeranian. But now the search begins once again for a grooming salon to take my dogs to. If morality, and decency, and kindness, and the truth do not matter to you, then you could not take your pets to a better grooming salon than Your Best Friend. I'm not saying at all that the owner and staff at Your Best Friend are amoral, or indecent, or unkind, or untruthful. They are quite the opposite actually. But when you support someone who is all of those things, and more, it can be very revealing. A lot of people and businesses, especially small businesses, are going to be hurt by the incoming administration and their policies, or lack thereof. I really hope Your Best Friend is not one of them, because they have been so kind to me and my dogs, but they will have to forge ahead without my patronage.

She said she has been very happy with their service over the years. We were very happy today with the friendliness of the staff as well as the veterinarian. She was kind and knowledgable, and we felt that she enjoys what she does, loves and understands animals, and was happy we chose their clinic. We will bring our cat to their groomer on Monday, and she said she will check in on him while he is there. Based on our experience today, we highly recommend Pet Wow for your veterinary needs in this area.

She's a husky of course she's going to have a double coat and needed de shedding. I've not seen her this depressed since before her treatment. We have over a dozen doggies who all eat homemade food everyday and have a nanny to clean after them but brushing every single one everyday is obviously not possible but we figured a groomer is experienced enough to handle the situation. Her oncologist suggested against taking her to a groomer during her treatment specifically. I don't care to pay the $150 but I expected her to have a gentler care. All they did was complain about our doggies conditions as if they don't know how many doggies we have but they made sure they looked at the system and pointed out we hadn't been back since 2024. And yes, I remember we did not like the quality of care and even nipped some of our doggies so why would we be back ? but we wanted to them another chance because they seem to have a lot more openings than anybody in the area and now we understand why. We're gonna make sure that hope gets whatever she needs to ease out of the current pain she's in. But just know if you want your doggy handled with care probably not the place.

The final result looked professional; I asked for puppycuts. They also smell great! The grooming didnt take super long and they didnt spend half the day locked in a kennel. I did recieve a recent cancelation due to high winds, but these vans are tall, I get it! Actually this time it was storming and I'm not sure how I didn't end up with a half cut dog, because Matilda freaks out during storms, but as you can see, she came back perfect!
