I've been meaning to stop by this place! I have had Gyros in other places in NOVA; but wow, the flavor this packed was absolutely amazing and I'm coming off a cold, so I can't imagine how much better it would have tasted. The bread was soft and warm and the tzatziki was good too. The fries that came with it were hot and crispy. The entire menu looks good! I'll be back soon to try the kabob and beef shawarma. Know this, if you have kiddos, Samaa's offers quesadillas, chicken tenders and onion rings with shakes! Samaa was so kind and knows her food! Great Job. I'm happy this place is in Warrenton.

The beef shawarma was delicious, as was the chicken kabobs. Service was great and the restaurant was nice and clean.

This was my first meal at Samaa's Kitchen, but hopefully it will not be my last. I look forward to returning because I enjoyed their food. I had the gyro, which came with French fries. The gyro meat was in a pita wrap with sliced cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce and the gyro meat had some garlic sauce on it. They make their own garlic sauce. I also dipped my falafels th garlic sauce. I had ordered falafels as my appetizer. The falafels were just out of the deep fryer when they arrived at our table because they were hot. The sliced cumbers with my gyro really did add to the fresh taste. There was also a delicious pickled vegetable that came on my gyro plate. My wife had the Kabob Plater which she said was delicious, even the rice. We had a couple of glasses of water with our meal. Our waitress was very attentive and quickly refilled my water glass when needed. She check on us a couple of times to see it we needed anything and if we were enjoying the food. We were at the restaurant on a Friday around 1pm and there were three other tables of customers, all of whom seemed to be enjoying their meals. The restaurant dining area and tables were clean. I am looking forward to returning for another meal at Samaa's Kitchen.

At that time, the establishment only had a one other table occupied so seating occurred immediately. As I perused the menu, my focus landed on the tajins / stews. The ox tail, okra lamb, and cow feet tajins all looked delectable. I settled on the cow feet tajin ($20), served with rice. That arrived after about 10 minutes, piping hot in an earthenware bowl. Just looking at the glisten and the viscosity while spooning the stew, I could tell that the cow hocks had simmered long enough to melt and release collagen into the stew. The tendons came off the bone like the proverbial hot knife through butter. The stock proved rich in texture and flavor without overwhelming the palate. Whatever additional seasonings went into it enhanced the clear stock's savoriness without imparting a different direction to the palate. This epitomized the ostensible simplicity of a dish belying sheer time and effort to perfect a dish. As an aside, this sort of laborious effort resembled long simmered Cantonese stews that I grew up with. Hilariously enough, the only other occupied table was also an Arabic guy bringing his Asian friend along. Speaking of Arabic friends, my friend ordered the king koshary ($12) and had me try a bite. The texture contrasts of the varied grains, the crispy onions, and the savory tomato-based koshary sauce, seemed irresitible. I understood why it became a signature national dish.

The ordering is quick, off of digital pads or the cashier and they bring the food out fast but also freshly prepared. A few small tables and two tables for larger parties fill the small space, but it feels comfortable rather than cramped. The staff is very nice, and routinely checked with all the tables. The falafel was great, small balls crispy on the outside but not still soft, and the hummus is nice and light. The homemade hot sauce isn't very hot, but it adds a nice flavor. This was a random stop-in for me, and I'm very glad to have found it!

These included the chicken kabob bowl with tum, apricot juice, and the Om Ali pudding. The vibe of this place is a bit like a to go spot. It's quite small. If you are paying with a credit card, they have you order on a separate touchscreen. Ambiance was just standard, and we didn't really interact much with the people (I don't think they really have servers). The food was okay. The chicken kabob meal was honesty a bit of a let down. The rice is was served was was far too oily/buttery to the point of being overpowered. The chicken was also rubbery. Other than that, pretty good spices and I did like the garlic sauce. The apricot drink was nice. Tasted very fresh and a decent portion. Seems like they might make it in house? The om Ali pudding was also quite unique and good. It's similar to a bread pudding, and they have tons of little additions like raisins, nuts, etc. It is a traditional Egyptian dessert that I liked.

I can't speak on the customer service because I didn't talk to anyone. I ordered at the kiosk and they called my number and that was it. I paid $19.45 for my meal. I order a side of falafels (3) and the street bowl with beef flank, tzatziki, and mild red pepper sauce. The falafels were way too crispy. I feel like compared to other falafels I've tried these were on the hard side. Thankfully I had some tzatziki sauce to dip them in, if I didn't, they would have been a little hard to eat. The flavor was okay but the texture was not appealing. I really wanted to get beef shawarma but they were out so I opted for the beef flank. I wish I would have just gotten chicken instead. The bowl came with rice and a lettuce salad that was underneath the beef. I'm not sure if the lettuce had arugula in it as well, but the lettuce gave sort of a bitter taste which I did not care for at all. Did not taste good so I would add a lot of tzatziki sauce to it to cut down on the bitter taste. The beef was okay, nothing to rave about. I was just very underwhelmed with my food. Not sure if I would give it a try again. If so, I would definitely get something else or build my own bowl maybe. Try it for yourself and see how you like it.

This was my first experience at a Yemeni restaurant, and it turned out to be an incredibly pleasant and flavorful introduction. We were served half a lamb, head included, laid beautifully on a large platter of rice. But first, the restaurant itself. It was refreshing to see a place that uses real cutlery, proper plates, and actual tablecloths. I much prefer tables and chairs over booths, which often give off a fast-food chain vibe. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, though there was some drilling and repair work going on--likely related to safety or exit signage--so that's understandable. Now to the food. The rice was fluffy and deeply infused with flavor from the lamb, clearly absorbing the richness of the long, slow cooking process. The broth had rippled into the rice, creating an incredible depth of taste. If you've had biryani, this was somewhat similar, but with its own distinct character. The lamb itself was exceptionally tender--falling off the bone and melting in the mouth. For anyone who usually avoids lamb due to its strong aroma, this dish is a must-try; there was no overpowering "lamb smell" at all. The meal was accompanied by a fresh salad and two side sauces--one tomato-based and another green sauce that was extremely spicy, so proceed with caution. The mint lemonade deserves a special mention: easily the best I've had. Not overly sweet, clearly made from fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced. We ended the meal with tea and a warm dessert that was buttery, comforting, and topped with cream--an excellent finale. This was a completely new culinary experience for me, and I left the restaurant feeling like my palate had leveled up. Highly recommended--definitely a place worth checking out
