Within approximately three minutes of placing the order, I texted the company back to cancel the request before any driver had been dispatched or services provided. To my surprise, I was informed that I would still be charged a 50% cancellation fee. I explained that only a few minutes had passed since placing the order and that no actual service had been performed. Despite this, they still processed the charge. Charging customers a substantial cancellation fee within minutes of booking, especially when no tow truck was dispatched, and no services were rendered, feels extremely unfair and misleading. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company and would encourage others to carefully review their business practices before using their services.

Castro's gave us the total fee during our phone call. They took only 45 minutes to arrive after we called. In comparison, after 4.5 hours on two different holds with GEICO, GEICO had not acquired a tow truck for us. GEICO's towing service is a waste of your time and your money. Meanwhile, Castro's was careful with the front apron on my daughter's SUV, so that it was not scraped as her SUV was towed onto the tilt-bed. The owner was one of the first companies to respond and provide me with a quote. The quote was fair. It was not my least expensive quote, but it was not my most expensive quote either. What impressed me was his follow-up and ease to work with. He was flexible while a arranged the appointment with the repair shop and once that was done Mater's came and picked up the truck and got it to the repair facility. I think what I was most impressed about was that they showed up when the said they would.
