We left AAA years ago because I was tired of being left stranded on the side of the road for hours at a time. So we didn't have a go-to tow service when our car broke down on the highway last week. Thank goodness someone recommended TBT! They were responsive, timely, and pleasant to work with. Now we have a go-to towing service again. read more

fast friendly service with the best pricing in town. came to to my truck within 20 minutes

I've saved this company's business card and number to my contacts. Was very pleased with the service. Booking was easy and rep was pleasant. Price was reasonable. Serviceman (owner) was extremely helpful in helping me to resolve my issue in which the service need changed from a flatbed tow to a battery jumpstart. He could have just completed the service that I booked, pocketed the money, and let me figure out the rest. But he went above and beyond and even educated me on new technology built into my vehicle that caused the issue. He even requested a callback to ensure I reached my destination safely. I appreciated everything about my interaction with this company. It is a rare gem in the towing industry. read more

Extremely overpriced and slow to respond. Taking advantage of someone who needed assistance in a crunch.

Man, I tell you what !!! I thought I had a good deal with another company until it was gonna go down then "POW" guy adds some more #'s to the equation. I actually passed up 2 Bit TowS quote which was already low to begin with. NEVER will I make that mistake again. No B.s., straight up with you and on a flat bed. No harm No damage. Thank You Big Ant (Hunter) the truck Driver for quick and simple pick and drop. read more

Used this tow service today to get my father's broke down car towed to the repair shop. The person who answered the telephone was friendly and quoted me a very reasonable price($80). She informed me the driver would call when he was on his way. It took awhile which I completed understood with the weather. The gentleman showed up and was extremely courteous and kind. He quickly got the car on the truck and to the repair shop. This was the best service I ever dealt with in towing. I will definately use them for any future issues. read more

My quote request was quickly answered and very reasonable. Dispatch called to confirm to get me on the board for the tow quickly. The driver, Cris, called beforehand to let me know his ETA and arrived promptly. We ended up being able to utilize road side assistance service and he jump started the car, which ended up working out better for me. Payment was so convenient-- I was able to pay with my card, receipt sent to my number. I will definitely remember this company and dispatching/driver team today for their friendliness and patience! read more

This is an older review, but people need to know how these crooks operate. I was in an accident less than 1 block from my home. Some teens ran a stop sign and t-boned me, resulting in the tie rods snapping and my vehicle being unable to turn. I had a family member call a wrecker for me while I handled the police report. Two Bit Tow shows up. I ask how much to take it one street down and the driver asks "How much you got on you?" - That alone should be a huge red flag. The police state I have to move it soon or I will get a ticket for obstructing traffic. (Typical PD - not there actually to help or serve) I have no choice but to use the wrecker on site now. I ask what his rate is which he won't disclose but asks "You're insured right?" "Yes" "Who do ya got?" "I use ------ Insurance" "Oh okay, they pay you back for any towing so for this it will be $150" Thus I had to pay $150 to have my car moved less than 300 feet. I had to dispute this with my insurer and credit card only to deal with more of a headache. SUMMARY: These guys will attempt to nickel and dime you anyway they can. Use someone else. NOTE: I understand first reviews can be suspect and especially when back to back with another review that radically differs with a competitor service. My reason for reviewing this company is that I recently had to use a wrecker and I recalled my experiences with other companies enough to the point I felt it was my duty to Yelpers to write this while still on my mind. read more

Our diesel truck would not start on Saturday. It was parked in our drive way. Called for a tow and Two Bit arrived right on time promised. Took extra care of our truck. Dealership was a mad house and Dean delivered without incident . Very impressed with the care Dean took with of older model truck. Dean was very polite. I have tried to use other towing companies with promise arrival but they never showed for hours. Being punctual and professional are plus for us. Will use Two Bit again is ever needed. read more

Literally had me hooked up 15 minutes after I called! Leo was cool and a great operator!

Yesterday I was broke down on the side of the road and had called the extended service warranty I had on my GMC policy for my terrain! Upon calling them they dispatched a tow truck company but proceeded to tell me they wouldn't be there till 515 and I broke down at 3:30! About 4:45 I called to check on it and they said they'd be delayed another 45 minutes because they had to go pick up some cars at a wreck to which I became very upset because I thought that was very unfair considering I'm a single woman stranded on the side of the road and I'd already been there for an hour and 15 minutes waiting on the tow truck driver! On top of that my phone was dead so I was having to ask assistance just to make a phone call. Lo and behold God sent an angel of a man who decided to take a walk because it was a pretty day and he let me use his phone to call the only company I could think of off the top of my head - two bit tow! I got a chance to talk to the man that owned the company Dean and he took my information and said he would call me back and let me know when he could be there but it would probably be an hour to an hour 15. So I said OK and hung up the phone! Being the patient person I am, I waited just a few minutes and then called him back and he said they would probably be an hour before he could come get me due to the fact that he only had three trucks running however he then proceeded to tell me that he could refer me to another tow truck company that might be able to help me sooner if I wanted that information! I said yes I do and I took out a pen and he gave me the name and number of two companies! The one I ended up using was rocket towing and the funny thing about that company is he told me that all of those guys used to work for him and they left his company to start rocket towing but he had no bad feelings towards them and was even willing to throw them a bone! I can't even begin to tell you the integrity of this man Dean for referring not only a competitor but somebody that he could hold resentment against and he's choosing the highroad! I highly highly recommend that you do business with two bit tow because I can tell you one thing I know if he could have he would've been there for me but after hearing my story he showed compassion on me and found a way to create a result which may have cost him money but ultimately created a win win for both of us. So now I get to acknowledge and recognize him for his kindness and his desire to help a damsel in distress above and beyond profit. Because I think that's who he really is a man who puts people before profit and for that reason he deserves a standing ovation and all the business that God has for him! Thank you Dean for for making my day and encouraging my believe that people really are good and they really do care and I hope everybody sees a lesson in this about caring about the people that call into their business before the money they deserve to make! You are a superstar read more

I appreciate the quick response and accommodating service! I appreciate being able to trust with worry. Don is awesome!!

I got an immediate response from these guys with an estimate, then when I called they asked for photos of my stuck car so they could give a more accurate estimate. Excellent customer service, I would definitely call them again and I recommend their services. read more

The driver was there in 15 minutes, just as promised. (I've waited for tows from other companies that promised they were "almost there" but took more than 3 hours to show up.) He had the van on the truck and was at its destination while we were still waiting for the Uber app to finish updating. If you need a tow, this is who to call! read more

Called and got an argument about where certain cities are located in the metroplex. Told guy the locations of my car and got a quick "I dont know where that is." He asked where I wanted it towed and I said Roanoke to which I got another "I don't know where that is". Interesting stuff since the stated address is basically in Roanoke. Also, try using the Internet if you can't find a location. Seems like a tow truck driver would be better at that..dude was very rude and argumentative read more
