Used this tow service today to get my father's broke down car towed to the repair shop. The person who answered the telephone was friendly and quoted me a very reasonable price($80). She informed me the driver would call when he was on his way. It took awhile which I completed understood with the weather. The gentleman showed up and was extremely courteous and kind. Our diesel truck would not start on Saturday. It was parked in our drive way. Called for a tow and Two Bit arrived right on time promised. Took extra care of our truck. Dealership was a mad house and Dean delivered without incident . Very impressed with the care Dean took with of older model truck. Dean was very polite. This is an older review, but people need to know how these crooks operate. I was in an accident less than 1 block from my home. Some teens ran a stop sign and t-boned me, resulting in the tie rods snapping and my vehicle being unable to turn. I had a family member call a wrecker for me while I handled the police report. Two Bit Tow shows up. I ask how much to take it one street down and the driver asks "How much you got on you?" - That alone should be a huge red flag. The police state I have to move it soon or I will get a ticket for obstructing traffic. (Typical PD - not there actually to help or serve) I have no choice but to use the wrecker on site now. I ask what his rate is which he won't disclose but asks "You're insured right?" "Yes" "Who do ya got?" "I use ------ Insurance" "Oh okay, they pay you back for any towing so for this it will be $150" Thus I had to pay $150 to have my car moved less than 300 feet. I had to dispute this with my insurer and credit card only to deal with more of a headache. SUMMARY: These guys will attempt to nickel and dime you anyway they can. Use someone else. NOTE: I understand first reviews can be suspect and especially when back to back with another review that radically differs with a competitor service. My reason for reviewing this company is that I recently had to use a wrecker and I recalled my experiences with other companies enough to the point I felt it was my duty to Yelpers to write this while still on my mind. read more

Yesterday I was broke down on the side of the road and had called the extended service warranty I had on my GMC policy for my terrain! Upon calling them they dispatched a tow truck company but proceeded to tell me they wouldn't be there till 515 and I broke down at 3:30! About 4:45 I called to check on it and they said they'd be delayed another 45 minutes because they had to go pick up some cars at a wreck to which I became very upset because I thought that was very unfair considering I'm a single woman stranded on the side of the road and I'd already been there for an hour and 15 minutes waiting on the tow truck driver! On top of that my phone was dead so I was having to ask assistance just to make a phone call. Lo and behold God sent an angel of a man who decided to take a walk because it was a pretty day and he let me use his phone to call the only company I could think of off the top of my head - two bit tow! I got a chance to talk to the man that owned the company Dean and he took my information and said he would call me back and let me know when he could be there but it would probably be an hour to an hour 15. So I said OK and hung up the phone! Being the patient person I am, I waited just a few minutes and then called him back and he said they would probably be an hour before he could come get me due to the fact that he only had three trucks running however he then proceeded to tell me that he could refer me to another tow truck company that might be able to help me sooner if I wanted that information! I said yes I do and I took out a pen and he gave me the name and number of two companies! The one I ended up using was rocket towing and the funny thing about that company is he told me that all of those guys used to work for him and they left his company to start rocket towing but he had no bad feelings towards them and was even willing to throw them a bone! I can't even begin to tell you the integrity of this man Dean for referring not only a competitor but somebody that he could hold resentment against and he's choosing the highroad! I highly highly recommend that you do business with two bit tow because I can tell you one thing I know if he could have he would've been there for me but after hearing my story he showed compassion on me and found a way to create a result which may have cost him money but ultimately created a win win for both of us. So now I get to acknowledge and recognize him for his kindness and his desire to help a damsel in distress above and beyond profit. Because I think that's who he really is a man who puts people before profit and for that reason he deserves a standing ovation and all the business that God has for him! Thank you Dean for for making my day and encouraging my believe that people really are good and they really do care and I hope everybody sees a lesson in this about caring about the people that call into their business before the money they deserve to make!
