AA wrecker service sold my truck while an insurance claim was pending. They sent the required notices to me (I didn't sign for it) but they knew insurance claim was pending and would get paid for any costs. Just not right. Maybe legal, but not right! read more

Completely unprofessional, aggressive, and downright bad customer service. Avoid at all costs these guys won't take care of your vehicle. Owner is also defends poor customer service stating it's against the law to show me a picture of vehicle to let me determine how I'm going to tow it home, He wouldn't even tell me if the motorcycle would roll. I had to guess if i needed a wrecker or if my truck would work....when I came to pick it up he rolled it out. What law would prevent you from telling me the bike rolls when I'm inquiring about transporting it after an accident?? read more

My El Camino was stolen in Hearst and was found in North Richland Hills. Normally they put a hold on the vehicle while it's in storage so it will not cost you 25 bucks a day. But, because of a screwup between Hurst and NRH police Bureaucracy BS, The hold didn't hold! and my wrecker bill was $500+!! I explained my whole situation and they listened. I also told them "I would love to pay it I just don't have it but I can pay you what I got". Not only did they chop my bill in half, they offered to sponsor INDYENABLEUS500 racing for the physically challenged!! These friendly folks give back to the community through sponsorship. Check out some of their awards in the photos. I see a lot of happy sports kids! They may not be able to help you as much as they did in my situation. But talk to them. Worst company I've ever come across. Not to mention this is the company the City of North Richland Hills has towing vehicles for them. Damaged my vehicle, towed it unlawfully, dispatch hung up on me 3 times. Keep in mind this is the company you have to deal with when your car is towed by NRH police department. AA Wrecker Service's response to my call for towing was outstanding. I contacted the dispatcher for AA Wrecker Service and I was greeted by an extremely pleasant gentleman. He was efficient and had a wrecker dispatched within moments of my call. The wrecker responded very quickly. I was shocked by how quick I had a wrecker at my location. I had the wrecker tow my car to the nearest Walmart (the car needed a battery) and that Walmart had no auto repair. I spoke with the dispatcher and the wrecker gladly agreed to tow the car to a different Walmart that offered auto repair. This wrecker driver (Jack) towed the car to the new location and charged me the original quote. I expected the charge to be higher, but it was the same. The wrecker was neat and professional in appearance. The driver, Jack was well groomed and extremely neat in appearance. Not a bit of grease or grime on him. It was such a pleasure to do business with AA Wrecker Service. I will definitely be doing business with them when the need arises. Oh! My vehicle was treated like they were towing their own vehicle. Rude front desk people. They didn't even speak when I walked in. Acted like I was invisible. I waited a couple of minutes and finally spoke to them. No telling how long I would have just stood there! GREET your customers!!! We had to pay almost $300 to get a pickup out that was there due to no fault of our own! My husband was rear-ended, taken to the hospital and this is where the truck was. They are about to have a police report on their hands if something is not done about my dash cam. It was in my car upon arrival and now missing. With picture evidence that it was in my car and did not "fall off" staff/management have been overall friendly and understanding, but if my dash camera is not found ASAP, they will have a lot to deal with. Totally willing to change my review if they can find my dash camera and take whatever necessary action with who is behind it's disappearance. Seriously who steals someone's dash cam after they had to be taken to an ambulance on a gurney?!? What if I needed it for the ACCIDENT?? read more

One of the tow truck drivers tried to scam my husband by selling him a truck and having my husband pay the payments and then all of a sudden wanted the truck back. He used his company's equipment to look up addresses of all of our family members and my job to find the truck! He then showed up to our house at midnight and started stalking us until we went outside to confront him and then he drive off. My husband then tried calling and texted him messages threatening him about ever trespassing onto our property again, and this guy JEFF HOWARD, used the tow truck equipment to look up my job's address and send all the text messages to human resources to try to get me fired! After he illegally found my address and place of employment, he really had the nerve to try to get me in trouble!!! He is disgusting, a scammer and I will be filling a harassment suite against him. read more

I had locked my keys in my truck the other day when an AA wrecker was passing by. The driver asked if l needed some help and in about 30 seconds had my truck unlocked. The Lady on the phone was very nice and helpful, she was very upfront with cost, and actually trying to help me find a cheaper place. But they were close and time is money!! Lol. In this life unfortunate events happen out of your control. When these set backs occur it is usually a costly recovery, as in my case that has brought me to cross paths with AA wrecker service. Now it is not the fault of this business that has introduced me to my recent experience and having to get my daughters vehicle out of impound. What I didn't need was to be mis informed by an associate at this company that cost me a great deal more than the tow fee. You should try to help those that do not know or understand this process. The people I spoke to really didn't care that I needed valuable accurate information or even grant me the courtesy to tell me to just add the car to my insurance policy. Instead I got the run around and wasted time and money to only figure it out on my own 100.00 later. When I came to get the car not one person new how to smile and ask how are you and have the compassion to engage with the customer that pays your salary. Empathy is a valued trait that this company needs along with just common human courtsey to offer people that are in a bad situation. It costs NOTHING to be kind and helpful. My car was stolen from the Houston area and recovered in Denton. The only complaint I have is that they should have known it was stolen, as I had reported it by then, yet they towed it as abandoned. It took 3 days for me to be notified by my constables office. I understand this may not have been their fault but seems weird. However, upon calling I spoke with Jeff who was extremely helpful for me. He even contacted me on his personal phone to give me advice and sent pictures of my car so I knew what state it was in before driving so far to retrieve it. The office was organized enough that it took less than 30 seconds to locate the file/paperwork for my car. The young man that drove it out was very welcoming as well, I wish I remembered his name. The customer service for me was 5 stars however the notification process was disappointing. read more

Office is not organized. They lose" authorization for release" paperwork and they don't understand when the fax machine is sitting right next to them. Car has been sitting at their location trying to be picked up by Insurance company since Monday. Why should they be timely and efficient when they are getting paid daily to store this vehicle until it is picked up. Not to difficult of a task but, you got to be organized. read more
