Yesterday I waited 45 mins to get our food. Grilled blackened fish I think they had to go catch it. When I got it home it was horrible it was oily and not blackened. Maybe there is a new cook but this was the absolute worse service I have had from them. I won't be going back for awhile let them get their act together.

The moderate prices added savings and the selections a value for a quick fix of shirmp and fish. Located directly off the Al-248, this small restaurant is surrounded by local businesses. The parking area being a tad small, having two acces points really help with the in and out process. The place is well lit outside and in, and is well kept to. Now the reason for the removal of two stars. The first is the ten minute wait on hold, then having to redial to get some help on the phone. Second loss is cause of the change in the hush puppy mix which was just plain cornmeal. Where the seasons went are beyond me. I can only hope this is not a ploy for saving funds. I will try again a bit later to find out if this is definitely the case. Finally, everything ordered was stuffed in the box without separation. This caused the french fries to lose the crunch and become soggy. Another indication of penny pinching rather than providing the best carry out experience.

I can only assume they are understaffed. While we have been to the Crafter before, we never have had a great experience, but we wait 18 months or so, then try again because we like to support local businesses. This was our time to "try again." I specifically ordered the lightly battered fish and chips on their menu. When it arrived at my table it was corn meal fried fish not even close to battered fish and chips. They need to use a beer batter; corn meal is for catfish only. YUK!!!! I had to send it back. My husband's burger patty was tiny and had the consistency of a hockey puck. Our onion rings were sparse and way overpriced, we counted them, it was a little over $1.00 per ring. So, this is it, we've tried again and again and now my husband, and I agree that the true definition of "Insanity" is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." There are so few Ruby Tuesdays left and I happen to be in the area of enterprise on the way home…read morefrom the beach and decided to stop there for lunch. I met up with a friend of mine who we actually used to wait tables at Ruby Tuesdays about 25 years ago. On Mondays, they have a special where you can get a Smashburger and a salad bar for $9.99 which I thought was a really great deal Unfortunately, the salad bar did not have any croutons which is like our favorite, but there definitely was a variety of salad dressings on there, which was good. The burger was really delicious very filling. The decor is definitely like the decor I remembered from the Ruby Tuesdays that I had near my house. It was very clean. I use the bathroom and it looked very good.

Keep in mind, there were only about five customers in the entire restaurant, and it was Christmas Eve, so being busy wasn't an excuse. The food was absolutely disgusting. I've worked at a steakhouse before, and I know exactly what old beef smells like. Unfortunately, my steak was clearly old and should never have been served. For a $70 bill, the only decent thing we had was the sweet tea. The condition of the restaurant is just as bad as the food. The place is run down from the outside in, and the restrooms were beyond disgusting. I would honestly rather use a hole-in-the-ground restroom at a state park than step foot in theirs again. Completely unacceptable all around. We will never be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I hope they're just in a transition period with their menu because.. what happened…read more The steak options just say "steak" and don't list what cut you're getting. I could have asked but assumed for $45 I'd get something better than a thin cut ribeye I'd expect from an Applebees for $20. Wine menu was the same, just says "house wine" and lists different grape varieties but nothing specific on the wine. One of the most generic menus I've ever seen and would expect a lot more from a place like this. I also thought the cups used to be glass but most of them were the plastic cups you get at a diner. They still had glass cups for more specialty drinks like wine and coffee but soda and water were in plastic. I was also pretty sure they used to have cloth napkins and those are gone too. I feel like this place is too expensive to skimp on little details like that. Staff is still great but they seemed really overwhelmed and we did also show up pretty late so I can't blame them for being gassed This place is beautiful, they had someone playing the piano and it was a really nice atmosphere, but like I said I hope they're just transitioning between menus and dishwater because this visit was super disappointing.
