He even worked thru pouring rain because we needed the project done before the next day. His price for the project was very affordable and a hell of a bargain for the quality of work. If you want your project done right he is your man. The only regret I have is I can only give him 5 star. I will definitely be calling him back for anything that I need done.

I called him and he came over within an hour did a great job explaining everything that needed to be done. I had him help with fixing some wooden pieces on the top of the ceiling of my porch that had become undone and needed repair, along with installing drywall in my closet. Everything looks incredibly nice once they were finished. I required some additional documents for my insurance and Brian instantly was willing to work with what I needed and answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and plan on calling him again in the future!

Severe Quality Issues & Failure to Rectify…read more Project: Back patio and concrete sidewalk addition (2024) Contractor: Seth Tomlin (Tomlin's Home Services) I cannot recommend Tomlin's Home Services due to severe failures, poor workmanship, and a total lack of accountability. Despite being a polite individual, Seth's concrete work was substandard and resulted in a project that was both non-functional and aesthetically unacceptable. Primary Issues: Poor Grading & Drainage: The patio was not properly graded, leading to significant standing water. I raised concerns about the grading during the process multiple times, but they were ignored. Mechanical Failure: Incorrect materials were used for the sump pump drainage and base materials of the patio pad, causing water to discharge directly under the concrete pad and would have caused future structural instalbility of the pad (found when we tore the pad up to replace it two months later). I raised concerns about the option for these materials as well, and obviously it was also ignored. Substandard Finish: The project was left with breaks at the joints/edges, concrete splatter on my siding and brick, and a generally messy job site. Total Loss: The work was so poor that I had to hire a second contractor to completely tear out and redo the patio pad. I am still facing the cost of repairing the sidewalks. Resolution Failure: Over the last two years, I have provided Seth with extensive photo documentation and multiple opportunities to provide a refund and cover the corrective costs. While he initially agreed to a repayment in his words to avoid involving his insurance, he has failed to provide any reimbursement to date. The Bottom Line: This experience has cost me a significant amount of money in both the initial payment and the subsequent demolition/reconstruction. If you are looking for quality concrete work and a contractor who stands behind their mistakes, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

DC did a good job on my property, but I was unhappy with his billing practices…read more I had a handful of odd jobs that needed to be completed. We agreed on a price (verbally) when he came out for the estimate, and said he'd come back out in a week. I should've asked for a contract. After day 1 he asked for 1/2 the payment which I was fine with, but then tacked on about $500 saying it was too hard to complete. After some haggling I agreed. This time I at least had him text me the amount. The following day when he asked for payment, he requested an amount hundreds of dollars more than agreed, assuming I'd forgotten, so I showed him the text after our verbal exchange. Get him to write a contract prior to work.

He has worked on a very wide range of tasks, and I have been impressed at how knowledgeable he is in finding the best way to solve each issue. Also, he works hard while he is here - he gets more done in 4 hours than I could do in 4 days. Highly recommend him.

I had invited at least a dozen contractors to bid on the job but elected to go with Rusty due to his overall expertise/experience, available options, and simply the comfort level I had with him. As a small business owner myself, I appreciated his involvement and the commitment he demonstrated throughout to make sure we were satisfied. We had some odd angles to deal with on the home but he figured out a solution for all of them. His crew was reliable and showed up exactly when they said they would. Rusty tends to work on one project at a time so didn't have alot of competing interests when he was working on our home. We were the focus, which is how it should be. I highly recommend Exterior Siding Solutions. Most of my neighbors have already commented on how nice it all turned out.

We built a custom home in Kirkwood 2 years ago, the siding installation by the builder was so bad we decided to replace it all, this experience made us extremely thorough selecting a company to rework the exterior of our home. We could not be happier with the work done by Exterior Siding Solutions, Rusty and his crew installed beautiful (insulated) vinyl siding, replaced all the gutters / downspouts, and did an artful job reworking the roofline gables and soffits. Rusty's focus on customer service was evident from the start, he made the material selection process easy, we chose CraneBoard Solid Core Insulated Siding, the quality and value of this product is outstanding. We understand all too well that the success of project like this is determined by the installation, the siding crew was highly experienced, and hardworking, Rusty was at the job site everyday to oversee all aspects of the installation and make sure we were completely satisfied. Exterior Siding Solutions is one of the finest companies I have work with, I recommend them without hesitation. Chris M. P.E
