This is hands down the best thai in omaha. I have a friend that has tried many thai places here and recommended this place to me. We always go with the pad thai but definitely want to branch out next time we go. It is a little on the pricier side but thats what you get for high quality food. You also get to choose your spice level. We will continue to come back!!

With a steady stream of people picking up to-go orders, we had a bit of a wait to be seated, but all things considered, he handled it well. I ordered the Pad Thai, which was just okay. The noodles were overly soft, the portion of meat was skimpy, and it leaned too sweet for my taste. That said, everyone else at the table seemed happy with their meals. Our biggest complaint was where we were seated--right by the front desk, where the phone rang constantly and no one ever picked up. It rang non-stop throughout the meal, which made the atmosphere feel stressful rather than relaxing. My advice: if you're not going to answer the phone, unplug it or forward it to voicemail.

Honestly I was really disappointed with Mercy Thai…read more The chicken wings were completely flavorless. They literally just seemed battered in panko and fried with no seasoning at all. 0/10. The crab rangoons sounded good from the description -- cream cheese, crab pieces, onion, and carrots -- but they were WAY too sweet for my taste. Not to mention there were none of the ingredients described inside?! Seems like it was only cream cheese and sugar. Then the sweet chili sauce that came with them was super watery and just made it worse. 2/10 overall. I also tried my boyfriend's drunken noodles and... mid at best Definitely not something I'd come back for. Maybe other menu items are better, but based on what I tried, I personally wouldn't recommend it.

My sweet-and-sour lacked the spice level asked for and was kind of dry. I would normally remedy this by condiments on the table, but there were none. One person was committed to the dining room and either cooking or prep cooking which made service a little slower. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty empty and there was only one server, but since it wasn't busy, we figured it would be fine. She checked on us quickly, and the food came out fast. The food was delicious, as always. It was a colder day, so we both ordered soups, and they were perfect! Also, servings were big enough for left overs :) The only downside was at the end of our meal. We were trying to check out, and it took quite a while to track down the server so we could pay. We understand she was the only one working, but there were probably no more than three tables total and one takeout customer. We would've just left cash and gone, but since we had to pay with cards, we had to wait. I've tried to avoid going during busy times because I know service can get slow, but we thought it would be quicker with so few tables. It still took longer than expected. Other than that, the food was great. I love the coconut chicken soup, it's always amazing.

The Mai Tai was dangerously well balanced. For entrées, we had pad see ew with chicken (spice level 2) and spicy drunken noodles with beef (3/5). The crab rangoon and shrimp spring rolls were also pretty great, although I think I'll try the pot stickers instead of the shrimp rolls next time. I sincerely appreciate the restaurant using cardboard containers instead of foam or plastic. Crispy food works best in cardboard so it can breathe, so this chicken was still hot and crispy when we got it home.

I do love pad thai itself, but I unfortunately did NOT love "I Love Pad Thai" the restaurant…read more We ordered it for delivery when we were working one day and couldn't make it out for lunch/didn't have time to make lunch ourselves. I know everywhere is better if you eat it inside, but if they offer delivery, I think that it should be about on par with what you get in the restaurant (because they certainly charge the same or more than dining in). This either was just not great from the get go, or it lost a LOT of quality in the delivery time. I don't think that's the case, because a delivery time doesn't make most of the food almost FLAVORLESS. Cold, maybe - but flavor doesn't vanish from it being delivered? So if you couldn't tell, we were not fans of almost anything we received. My Pad See Yew was literally flavorless. It tasted like WATER was used for the "sauce" on it. The chicken in it was also very stringy and dry. My husband got the Pad Thai, which did have a little bit more flavor, with the peanut sauce, but not a whole lot more. The only saving grace was the fried dumpling appetizer we ordered. Those were tasty and the dipping sauce they came with was good (it said it was just soy sauce but it wasn't super salty like soy sauce, more sweet). At almost $50 for two entrees that were basically untouched because they were so dry and flavorless, I would say order elsewhere or dine inside so you can gauge what you are getting in person.
