I have some special (to me) items that I want to donate but I wanted to see the shop first. Everything was very nice and organized and items were displayed well, and treated respectfully. I could tell the staff takes a lot of pride in their work. As one other reviewer shared, this is also a store that is serving the community. While I was there I observed the staff providing clothing and other items directly to those in need, (via a voucher -so all very well organized). I made a small purchase and the check out team carefully wrapped up my 4 glasses to ensure they made it home safely and I was very touched by their kindness. I hope others will consider shopping here and also donating their treasures to Catholic Charities. I still have quite a few things from my parents home that I have had a hard time letting go of, but after visiting, I feel the items will be appreciated and handled kindly and may help make a difference.

This is one of the two places I can count on finding fun clothes. They do discount days based on odd things, like a discount day if you wear a hat, so keep an eye on the sign by the curb when you drive past. Parking can be a nightmare on busy days. The donation pull-up is also sometimes an interesting driving experience. Staff is always very nice, though, so just bring your best supply of patience.

The measurements were way off, one of the leg was shorter than the other. Luckily, we know someone that knows about these things and she notice it right away. Another thing they don't tailor the jackets. So glad we got that tailored or else my husband would've been walking down the aisle with an oversize jacket.

That's what you get for being honest with these people. False accusations and threats to be put out on your butt. And from what another woman living there told me I'm far from the first person to have that happen. And all of this within not even a full week of me staying there. I didn't stick around to see what else could possibly go wrong living there, I packed up my stuff, left, and moved in with the father of my child with whom my relationship is incredibly strained, because I had no other options The woman who live there are lovely, and even the staff themselves conducts themselves in a friendly manner, but if you have any skeletons in your closet whatsoever, be prepared to be treated like a criminal and probably be the first one to be accused if anything happens.

This was in Seaside, CA. I asked about how trash gets separated from recyclable paper/cardboard, and he explained how he takes care of that, so I was confident that recyclables don't get thrown in the landfill.
