Thank you More Junk! They did an amazing job....I would highly recommend them. For a flat $199 we scheduled a pickup for a mix trash/junk pick up today. Unfortunately, it was extra to take the pile of bricks we had BUT it was my fault for not taking photos of it initially so they were not prepared for it. If you have demolition junk make sure you let them know ahead of time so they can give you an accurate quote. Overall a great experience. They came when they said they would and got the job done! Despite the extreme temperatures they worked quickly and efficiently getting the job in under an hour. Their good reviews speak for themselves...they are super friendly and helpful! They gave me a great quote on the pics of the furniture I needed hauled and a great reasonable price at the end after I ended up filling their truck with everything else I found. Why did I rate my experience 5 stars? 1) low(est) price without any negotiation: other companies provided quotes that's between 11% and 75% more expensive. 2) flat rate: no hidden cost unlike some companies that have different add-on fees (Appliance Removal Fee, Capping Fee, Heavy Item Fee, etc.) 3) great communication: answer questions quickly with clear instructions 4) efficient service: done job properly and quickly, service/payment were contactless. Scheduled the appointment and after multiple messages and follow ups nobody showed up or updated about whereabouts. Got a reply 5 days later to reschedule. Not worth the time and effort. No professionalism and no sense of other people's time. No responsibility to revert back either. read more

We needed to junk 3 items - a mattress, a couch, and a small shoe cabinet. The company was nice enough to "squeeze us in", offering a time slot between 2-4 PM on a Sunday. We gladly accepted. I arrived at the old apartment at 1:30, as I hate when people are late. At 3:55, I receive a call from the company informing me that the moving truck will be late: "should be there in between 5-5:30. Closer to 5". No problem, things happen I get it. 6:40 comes around, still no call. This time I call the company. Tony answers - "oh, our guy was just there, he called several times you didn't pick up!". As I was staring at my phone the entire time, this was never the case. No problem, again, things happen. This time, Tony assures me that he gets in touch with one of his trucks, will be there between 8-11 minutes from now. I head outside, phone in hand. 25 minutes later, still no show. I call Tony again. This time Tony starts laughing like this is somehow funny, my Sunday getting murdered by this. "Oh, you know what happened? One of our trucks went down. This time the owner of the company is in his truck and headed your way. He is literally 8 minutes away". I ensure that they have the correct address. 15 minutes goes by, I call back, still nothing. Tony calls me back after 5 minutes: "There was material in the other truck that we HAD to get out. We won't be able to accommodate you tonight. Can we do this tomorrow? Our earliest appointment in 3:15 PM?" You have got to me kidding me. You tell me 2-4. At 4, you tell me 5-530. At 6:40, I call and you tell me I missed a call (which I did not). Multiple trucks supposed to come within 15 minutes, you cancel tonight (now it is about 7:45), and then you can't get me in until 3:15 the next afternoon? You should have made me the top priority the next morning!! What a joke. When speaking with Tony, I assured him this wasn't personal. But I let him know that I was very patient throughout this and that I was not pleased about having my Sunday ruined by this. When I pointed things out, Tony repeatedly laughed like this was no big deal and that he "gets it". He had an excuse for everything "my guy called Jessie, I though he said Casey, that was my fault". I take zero pride in writing bad reviews, but this was too egregious to let go. Do better guys. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews but this small family business really impressed me. I used More Junk for two services - junk removal and gutter cleaning. Crystal is responsive and quick in providing quotes, giving updates, and answering questions (since it's during pandemic we communicated through Yelp, but that didn't slow her down, even over weekend). Steven and Ray provided the services with punctuality and quality. They were friendly, willing to share knowledge, and of course, wearing masks (and gloves). When they removed the trash, they were quick and got the junk out of my sight in 15min. When they cleaned the gutters of my house, they did a lot of extra work, mentioning they treated my house like their own, and spent extra hours to make sure not just the gutters, but also the roof, and floor were all cleaned. Steven was also thoughtful to bring a big piece of cover to protect our Christmas lights on the bush from being damaged by the possible splash and downpour from the gutter cleaning.
