A couple of weeks in a row of heavy lifting at both the gym and work caught up to me and left me a little run down. I'd heard about Dr. GoodPrice from a friend who worked in the area, and came here since my usual provider didn't have an appointment. It's basically an independent pharmacy with medical assistants, a pharmacy doctor and ARNP's on staff. They're located right on 12th Avenue near Marlins' stadium and even have a free parking they share with like two other businesses. Once I came in and filled their digital "paperwork" out I received a basic medical screening. One of the nurses prepped the IV bags, patiently injected me and I sat in a recliner, akin to how your phone sits while getting charged. About an hour later, I was ready for the full moon party (and hopefully a better work week ahead)! They also do full medical checkups, treat minor emergencies like sore throats (I believe they're open until 8PM) as well as provide weight management injections.

I was told at signin that I have 4 tests paid for but the fifth is extra. I showed them the pamphlet stating the five tests were included and was told that was an old pamphlet from several years ago and the costs have increased. I asked if the priority code on the pamphlet was correct in the system and they said to call Customer Service to verify. Customer Service (CS) verified that the code included all five tests and CS talked to the on-site Medical Receptionist to verify. The technicians were leaving for lunch. Come back after lunch. After lunch when I returned, they could not get "the system" to accept the fifth test because I had left the facility. They are trying to get IT to rectify and I am to return on another day to try again. I cannot get the bone scan until the test request is in the system. Maybe tomorrow ..... I will update......

Today, I went for first time to LabCorp on Douglas Rd and I was very amazed for the great and fast…read moreservice. I stoped by without having an appointment, I introduced my information in the check-in computer and that's it! It was so quick and so perfect, that I couldn't believe it. The lady that works in the entrance is very sweet. The nurse that took my blood had a magic hand, no pain and not bruises. I have tiny and small veins and usually is always hard. I saw three more people besides me in the entrance. It wasn't full. The parking ticket was validated and I payed only $3. I assumed that this building is used mostly by people who works in the building, I think that maybe you can park outside is this is a big deal. To me, the fact that they took care of me in a wink of an eye is Priceless.
