So glad to have found this great pupuseria! Nice variety of menu at reasonable prices and tasty…read morepupusas! I arrived there at night and for a second they were closed because their restaurant name sign was not lit, but they did have the "open" sign lit so I went inside. They have very minimal decorations inside- no music, just a TV on really loud. But many times this type of places are a hit than a miss! (Based on my experience) I ordered a few pupusas and tacos to go and was told the food would be ready in 10 minutes- however it took 35 minutes. it's okay if they are busy but I think they could have just told me at one point it would take much longer than expected. There seemed to be just two people working there. There was someone who was waiting longer than I was. It was very cold inside which did not help when I was waiting for so long. I was disappointed with the wait time, however the pupusas were amazing. The hot sauce and slaw(?) that came with them were great too. I especially liked the one with chicken and cheese. In the future I will always call ahead of time to place an order rather than waiting there, and I advise everyone to do so.

It's a rather small place and I didn't expect much. I was greeted when I came and the young lady minding the front was very nice. My order was taken and I waited inside for it. The sounds of everything being made fresh in the kitchen area was reassuring. When I got my food, I was beyond satisfied. Quality fresh ingredients. Very tasty and presented well. I'm so glad u stopped by and will stop by again. Great job!.

The first Wednesday I showed up they told me it would be over an hour for my order. I didn't have an hour to wait. They gave me a business card and told me to order ahead of time next week. I called about 2:00 and ordered one of each of the variety that they have. I know there was cheese, bean, bean & cheese and meat. Well there are 6 to choose from and we tried them all. When I arrived at 5:00 to pick up my order it was ready. I paid and headed home to eat with my family. All 6 were in one container and I had no clue which was which. Some of them were very greasy. I had to lay them out on paper towels. The cheese was my favorite. There is a small dining room and a full menu. But on this visit we just tried the special.

It has been forever since I last reviewed this spot. It is still a small family restaurant, so if…read moreyou bring in a larger group, reservations are encouraged and a bit of patience, since there isn't a whole lot of staff. The food is absolutely delicious. I personally love their pork dishes and the beef empanada for an appetizer. The moro rice as well as the yellow rice are both so tasty. I prefer the sweet plantains over the tostones, but that's just my preference. And don't forget to indulge in a dessert or maybe a Cuban coffee after your meal. I tend to bring my foodie group here regularly and while they are a picky bunch, I have not heard any complaints about the food here. The prices are still very reasonable and the service friendly.

If youre cuban you…read moreknow you do not eat boiled Yucca without mojo (unless you just dont like it which is crazy) and when we asked if it came with it she said "well i mean.. i can add it on the side for yall" like as if its not the usual/it was an inconvenience. The food was edible. The people serving and making the food are not Cuban and have a really hostile attitude. We were immediately seated and our food came out rather quick (15-20) minutes after placing the order. The lady the entire time was almost rushing us and trying to get us to order more than what we wanted. The food was hot but did not have a fresh/authentic taste coming from a Cuban.. At the end of it we were overall satisfied with our food and were paying when the lady took the paying machine from my husband insisting he tipped %15. He was tipping a custom amount to make the amount even but she said it was usual for people to leave %15. He asked if it was obligation to select the %15 option or if he could put the custom amount he wanted and she said he could put whatever but people usually put %15.. My husband then paid no mind to it because she was just confused probably thinking he was going to pay less than %15 percent. She then grabbed the machine and his card and said "No. Don't. It doesn't matter," had him pay, and stormed back into the kitchen saying "Next time i will put it in there myself." There wont be a next time, at least not from us. I was very disappointed with the service at this restaurant.
