Chicken, asada, and carnitas tacos with chips, guacamole, and a Coke.

It's a travesty that there's a Taco Bell right next to such a hidden gem. Yes, this place is connected to a gas station, but don't let that keep you away. My food was excellent, the guy behind the counter was super helpful, and I went away full for not a lot of money. So glad I listened to my fellow Yelpers on this one!

This restaurant is attached to a gas station... don't let it fool you, the food is really good, in the picture we had sopes, a cuban torta, and a pupusa. The pupusa was very flavorful, the curtido that it came with confused my taste buds a bit, all of the food had a lot of flavor, it was obvious that it was freshly done, and very delicious. The guy taking my order was also cooking, so food did take a bit, I did think it is worth the wait. I liked that it's a low key place, not fancy at all, and yet very much worth it. Will 100% go again.

    LOTS of chips with salsa

I had to try Mexican food at a gas station in Edinburgh. It was a honest, hard working pop-mom shop owned by Mexicans. I was glad I went. They were very friendly and polite. Got lots of chips with my meal. Salsa was good. Lots of families filling up tables on a weekend lunch. I had 3 tacos of carne asada, al pastor and chicken. They were quite tasty, but the tortilla shells were doubled on each taco, overwhelming the taste of the meat. There were little meat compared to the size of the tortillas. Otherwise, I don't mind coming back here to try different items.

Stopped at the gas station to just get a drink and found this little Mexican restaurant. What a hidden gem! Very friendly service, the food was prepared fresh and was really awesome. The chicken is not dry at all and the refried beans were the best we ever tasted! The pork Tacos were so delicious that I could eat them every day! The salsas all made fresh and you can tell they have a lot of pride and love in their food! We will definitely be back! Stop by and check them out!

Adam P is spot on. Delicious tacos. Skip the chains that serve mediocre food. If you want good Mexican food, this is the spot.

We enjoyed! Took a chance despite the atmosphere. Steak tacos were good, and tamales were good.

The dining room is casual and colorful with Mayan themed carved tables. Mexican music fills the air. Our server, Rey, encourages me to order the large margarita, but I opt for the small one. The margarita is good! Comp chips are fresh and the salsa has a perfect little kick of heat. Food comes out hot and incredibly fast. The menu is standard Mexican with a few house specialties. Prices are reasonable. A lunch and kid's menu is available, as well. I order the Camerones al Mojo de Ajo. The shrimp are grilled with a nice garlicky flavor. The avocado was perfectly ripe and creamy. The plate comes with warm tortillas, so I made tacos. The rice was a bit overcooked and needed some seasoning. My husband had the Burrito Gigante - which was huge. He loved his chicken filled burrito topped with cheese sauce and lots of fresh guacamole. Rey checked on us multiple times and brought fresh water. Service was outstanding. There is a small outdoor patio if you want to eat outside. The restrooms could use a facelift. Grub-hub delivers. The restaurant is seconds off of US65 on the east side with an easy on and off. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let the appearance deter you. The food and service are good!
