After a number of quotes from different places, we had Accurate fix our issues. They showed up first thing in the morning when they said they would and worked tirelessly to get my wall and drain tile fixed. When the village inspector suggested a drain tile test the owner of Accurate was out in 15 minutes to asses the extra work and helped the team with the work. They had a professional air cleaner running the whole time they worked and put down drop cloths and plastic up to protect everything else. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Well, turns out they were recently bought out by a private equity firm. Their salesman came out, took a look around the basement, and wrote up a quote for a $16,000 drain tile repair. He was very professional and took time to explain the quote to me. The only problem was that I then had an independent drain tile inspector come out a few days later and tell me there was no sign whatsoever that I had a drain tile issue. He told me it was clear the water came in through the windows, and that I should repair the drainage in the window well and replace the windows for a fraction of the price. It's a good thing I knew better than to drop the $2000 down payment Accurate's salesman requested at the end of his visit, but it is too bad to think other's may fall for their sales pitch. We had previously heard that Accurate was upfront and honest in their dealings with customers, but since they have been bought out, it seems that making the sale has become priority #1.

**Verette Construction Review**…read more On Thursday, May 7, 2026, I met with Verette Construction at my home to obtain a quote for drain tile installation. The initial meeting went well, so on July 7, 2026, at 8:08 a.m., I called to request a quote for some additional work. An appointment was scheduled for July 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. When no one arrived, I called the office at 11:28 a.m. and was told there had been an emergency call and that no one would be coming out that day. While emergencies happen, no one contacted me to let me know that no one would be showing up. We rescheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the second appointment went much the same way. At 3:11 p.m., after no one had arrived, I called the office and was told he was likely on his way from another job site. By 3:38 p.m., I called again because no one had shown up, and the office said they would check on his whereabouts. At 3:41 p.m., I received a return call informing me that he "thought it was tomorrow." At that point, I decided to move forward with another contractor. What disappointed me most wasn't that appointments had to be rescheduled or that someone was running late--it was the complete lack of communication. A phone call or text to let me know about the delay or scheduling issue would have gone a long way and would have demonstrated respect for my time. On a positive note, Verette Construction does offer a veteran discount. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean much if they can't consistently show up for scheduled appointments or communicate with their customers. I've decided to try Badger Basement Systems instead and hope the experience is more professional.

Kaerek Homes is the absolute worst company I've had the misfortune to work with! I was looking…read moreinto a home and lot package in the Lake Five Farms subdivision in Lisbon and inquired if a specific lot was available. Jordan Kaerek advised that the lot was open and promised that he would hold onto the property while we spoke about a home build. This occurred on a Monday and I met with him to hammer out the particulars that Thursday. We were still in mid-negotiation when I received an email from him the next day that the lot was now sold and under contract. Kaerek never informed me that someone else was looking into the lot and never offered a right of first refusal to me. They lied to my face and completely broke their promise. I tried discussing the matter with Jordan on the phone and all he did was interrupt and talk over me. At the time I met with Jordan, the company was having a 65th anniversary party at their facility and he was more interested in getting to their barbeque than working on my home build. After two years of endless searching, my wife and I finally located the lot of our dreams and were crushed by this miserable company! Jordan and Kaerek Homes are absolute slime and I would implore anyone to fine another builder!

So grateful for Jordan's expertise, from serving as our realtor in the purchase of our Kaerek spec home to guiding us throughout the process. He has been personable, kind, and so polite. We were able to make many of the selections, and the quality of the home (the Hampton Elite) for the price was absolutely unmatched, for I shopped around. The Elite contained so many upgrades, and the price was second to none. Jordan was extraordinarily responsive to emails...usually within an hour or two!! Such a strong knowledge of all things related to the build and purchase as our realtor. Brittany, the lead designer, is so talented and kind. I always looked forward to seeing her, and the final design turned out so incredibly beautiful. Thank you, Jordan and Brittany! If we ever build again, we will without fail call you again.

Jason took the time to answer questions and explain the full scope of work. He and his team provided updates and answered questions as they progressed through the remediation work. They accommodated my need for access to portions of my home during the project by setting up containment areas I could access. I hadn't realized how shocking and traumatic losing huge portions of my home would be, including walking into rooms that were only framing and wires. Every individual was extremely kind and empathetic during this process. The attention to detail was top-notch and the company hired to do the post remediation inspection made numerous comments about how thorough and above average the work was despite its involvement. While I hope to never be in a situation that I need to work with Superior again, I cannot say enough positive things and would recommend them to anyone needing their services. Not only is their quality of work phenomenal their compassion and care for the customer is unmatched. The cost of the remediation and all it included was very fair and affordable. Thank you to all who played any role in my remediation!

We were impressed with their exceptional craftsmanship with cabinet door, sink, hardware and painting installation.
