Conveniently located next to the loading area at the ferry dock. The food is fresh! We had the veggie egg bites and the blueberry açaí bowl. Both were fresh and flavorful! Good portion sizes. My go to drink every where is a London fog. I drink at least one every day with oatmilk and sugar free vanilla. I ordered this exact drink here and it was incredible. I had to go ask what brand tea they use Steven Smith tea maker is the brand. It's so yummy!! Friendly staff, they gave us the wrong kind of egg bites the first time and it wasn't a hassle to have it fixed. You can order to go orders at the back walk up window. If you want to eat there just walk around to the front. Lots of seating outside and some inside as well. Great view cute apparel. Clean bathroom. read more

What a cute place! Check it out for sure. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Charming gifts for sale made by local artists. Lattes were good. Breakfast sandwich is available on bagel, English muffins or bread. Bagel and cream cheese was toasted to perfection. read more

Good place to grab a quick breakfast. The menu is simple and coffee seems very popular. The lines get long and you have a bit of wait for the food because there are a lot of orders and looks like only 3 staff workers. I liked my everything bagel lox. Not the best bagel I've ever tried but the lox was pretty good. Hubby really liked the breakfast bagel with bacon and wants to go back again for breakfast. There's some chairs and tables inside and outside. read more

Had my best lemonade matcha here! So refreshing and perfectly sweet. This is a cute little spot near the ferry, we came here after parking our car in line. The staff are friendly. The sitting area isn't very spacious, so you might overhear conversations from other tables. read more

In Friday harbor Washington, about to board a ferry to Seattle. Nestled right by the harbor is Salty Fox Coffee. Super coffee and latte's etc. Their lox and bagel sandwich was great. It's a small place but has wonderful porch and interior seating. Great views. Great little spot. Menus items include bagels, coffees and wonderful fresh pastries. Warm Cinnamon rolls were great read more

We came here for their food, and didn't order coffee. It's a great location being right next to the ferry line and a great view to watch the cars drive off the ferry boat. It can get busy so be wary of time if you're ordering right before you're supposed to get onto the ferry. It says it's dog friendly on Yelp, but I wasn't sure if that meant inside or outside only. I asked the barista while my husband waited with the dog outside, and the barista sounded kind of hesitant or super enthused on dogs inside so we decided to just have him outside while we ordered food and ate in our car. We're not people that must have their dogs everywhere but noticed the town was super dog friendly, so we thought we double check. It was cold so we didn't eat on their patio. But if the weather was warm it could have been great! I got the lox bagel and it was delicious. Generous amount of cream cheeses. My husband got their pesto bowl, and he said it lacked seasoning and it needed at least more salt and pepper and it was kind of small. read more

Good stop for coffee with friendly service. Loved the patio overlooking the harbor. Husband enjoyed a pastry too.

Nice view of the water and ferry, good ambiance and the lox bagel is stuffed with salmon. Love it! Only critique is the Match tea latte was little heavy on the milk. read more

Salty Fox Coffee - Menu - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Friday Harbor, Washington

Salty Fox Coffee is right by the ferry. The location is so convenient to grab a bite to eat or get a drink while waiting in line to board and it's close to town where you can stop by while exploring. You can order inside or outside at a window. There's tables both inside the cafe and outside depending on your preference. Inside, they had not only Salty Fox Coffee merchandise for sale but also items from local artists. I asked about the pineapple green tea and I appreciated their honesty in how they haven't tried it. I ended up ordering it and it was alright. It was more tea forward than pineapple. I did get a coconut cold brew the following day and that was great. read more

Coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries were superb! They had indoor and outdoor seating which was perfect and plenty of room for our group of 6. read more

The chai is soooooo good (if you like a little spice!) I should have gotten a larger one. I thought it was kind of weird the sausage breakfast burrito had andouille sausage, I was expecting breakfast sausage. The breakfast sandwhich was very good, but I wish the eggs were fresh instead of the prepackaged kind. Super convenient location, just steps from the ferry parking. read more

Been here many times over the years--always for coffee or tea but never for the food, which looks great. We like to sit outside on the sweet little patio / deck for views, conversations or just sitting outside with a great cup of coffee or London Fog. Service is always on point and the staff knows what they're doing. It's a clear five-star experience for us. read more

Super charming coffee spot in an old house with great views of the harbor. Rustic old school vibe inside, some outdoor tables as well. Got a solid cappuccino with a nice, fluffy blueberry muffin; fast friendly service. Pleasant spot right in the middle of downtown Friday Harbor. read more

I had the best gluten-free chocolate chip cookie in existence. And you wouldn't ever know it was gf! The place is cute, convenient to the harbor, and has exquisite views from the tables outside on the porch. The only problem is that nothing I saw on labels or menus said one word about gluten-free, but I asked since I had heard about the cookie, and sure enough, she had a stash behind the counter. read more

We stayed in Friday Harbor 5 nights and managed to visit the Salty Fox every morning! Their lattes and pastries are delicious and the staff is so very friendly. They have a unique system of taking orders at the counter inside as well as at a window on the back side, which we found to be very convenient. And the service was quite good with plenty of employees to keep things moving along. Highly recommended!! read more

Our favorite coffee shop in Friday Harbor, salty. Fox has great espresso and coffee. There are bagel and lox is also quite good as is their pesto bowl. The baked goods may not be quite as good as the bakery in town, but they are perfect to grab right before a ferry. read more

I love this place so much I want to take it home with me. Great service, wonderful breakfast, good vibes. Coffee on point. 10/10

I am not much of a coffee person but my gf is and ended up at this place in the morning I tried Matcha Latter and it was really really good. I was not expecting to find something that good here in Friday Harbor. The matcha was bitter - like nice bitter. They definitely put too much of sugar, I would have preferred less. As for the coffee it was okay based on her review. Ambience is super cool - good nice people working here. Good service. read more

I was pretty disappointed with this spot. The woman at the register definitely put the "salty" in "salty fox". I asked a simple question about the matcha and she was so annoyed. Then she made a weird comment about my order. The coffee was mediocre too. I'd go elsewhere next time. read more

Stopped here before the ferry came (super great location) and glad I did! I got the matcha lemonade which is something I've never seen before. It slightly tasted like matcha and liked how refreshing it was (but think I'd just order the regular lemonade or a latte next time). I also got the "everything cookie" which has coconut, chocolate chips, and macadamia nuts. The cookie was delicious but a bit too sweet and can easily be shared. They have a few local products such as cups and cards they sell and a decent amount of seating! If you're waiting for the ferry or just got off it, this is a great place to stop. read more

They are conveniently located near the ferry terminal. We visited this place every day during our stay in San Juan islands . It's fairly crowded but service was very quick . The café had a rustic charm with its cozy seating areas and stylish decor, creating a perfect ambiance for enjoying a cup of coffee. Although the pastries and coffee is not cheap at all. We ordered some breakfast sandwich and a cinnamon roll. It's quick for grab-to-go. They also have many T-shirts and hoodies you can choose from. Love the big picture of Fox! read more

Overhyped in my book. Coffee was very bland and not great flavor. Breakfast was just ok.

Ate breakfast here two mornings in a row because it was so delicious! First I had the egg, roasted tomato, pesto and microgreens breakfast sandwich and it was one of the best bfast sandwiches I have ever had! The shop is warm and cozy and I sat at a wood table facing the terminal where I watched the ferry glide into dock. No better view! The next morning I thought of having the sandwich again but branched out to the egg, cheese, bean and veggie bfast burrito and I am glad I did! Honestly better than any other bfast burrito I have eaten away from home! Just a perfect amount of filling and nothing tasted weird or off just totally delicious! Large too! It was fun to notice a lot of locals come here as evidenced by hugging and conversations I overheard. Highly recommend! read more

Salty Fox Coffee is a great little shop right on the water in Friday Harbor. I had an iced chai latte and a breakfast sandwich. You can choose all your options for your sandwich. I had it with the everything bagel, sausage, egg, and cheese. It was really delicious. The latte was very good also. Then we like that they also had water available. Definitely worth a visit. read more

The coffee was great and so was the food the sausage burrito was wonderful. Cute little place right next to ferry dock.

Fun little spot right on the harbor. There is a plethora of coffee spots around here, but we stopped by this spot each day. Excellent açaí bowls, and breakfast sandwiches! They also have a lot of cool art and souvenirs specific to the San Juan's. The line can get long, but they're quick with it! They have a walk up window as well if you don't plan to sit. But you can see the ferry coming, so it's a great spot if you're waiting in line to board and need a snack! read more

So close to the harbor ferry line that this place is packed all day long. Far from being a quiet and relaxing place to hang, this coffee shop is only good for one thing...a not so quick shot of caffeine as you come onto or leave the island. The coffee and chai are both really good, as are the pastries we had...but the wait and the crowd were a bit strenuous. So, if there's a line out the door, it's not so great that you can't walk another block or two and find another equally capable coffee shop. read more

I had the breakfast burrito and thought it was ok. Ditto for the breakfast sandwich. The eggs in both seemed a little rubbery kind of like you would find if the eggs came from a carton. Coffee was good - on par with the other places on the island. Great location and worth stopping in if you are close, but not really worth going out of your way to get there. read more

Stopped here for a snack and coffee, mostly coffee. My Americano was weak but my wife liked her cappuccino. Got a chocolate filled croissant, very disappointing, the croissant may have been fresh a few days ago but wasn't good today. Would not go back. read more

I had a very disappointing experience here. I specifically discussed and confirmed sugar-free options with the staff before ordering, but when I received my drink it was not sugar-free. When I politely brought it up, instead of acknowledging the mistake, the staff insisted that I never asked for sugar-free -- despite the clear conversation we had about it. Not only was the order wrong, but the way it was handled was dismissive and unprofessional. For those who have dietary restrictions or need sugar-free options, this kind of disregard can be more than just frustrating -- it can be unsafe. Definitely not the kind of service or care I expect from a coffee shop. read more

I'm always so excited to stop in when I visit Friday Harbor for work. The coffee is great, the staff members are kind, and the treats are always so yummy! Nutella croissants, everything cookies and pumpkin bread are to die for! The building is so cute, and when you enter you're greeted by the most quaint welcoming shop. Does not disappoint! read more

My kids were so excited about the opportunity to come back to the island since 2019. All they could talk about wasn't the whale watching, but the Salty Fox. We were supposed to arrive here on Tuesday but the ferry was canceled. We finally made it yesterday and wow it was great. They went to town on ordering. I had a beer instead of coffee. However later in the evening they did a pop up and I stopped by and had a cold brew that hit the spot. Also had the blueberry bakery item to go with it. This place is terrific. read more

This is an adorable little coffee shop by the ferry harbor that's a great place to also have breakfast/brunch. I had the eggnog latte and a lox sandwich. Both were on the pricier side, but delicious and kept me full for hours.
