The 1st time we went to the restaurant we were seated right away but 15 minutes later no one approached our table even though waitresses walked past us several times. We got up and walked out. We tried again the very next night because hubby was in the mood for prime rib. We were seated right away by Jenna. We explained what had happened the night before. She very graciously apologized. Jenna spent our entire time there making us feel special. Our meal was fantastic, ribs and prime rib, and because of Jenna's attention we will probably return again. read more

Ordered thru Door Dash....only half the order arrived with driver. The driver said this was all that was included on order. We put in complaint to Door Dash and they sent another driver to restaurant for rest of order. The rest of order arrived in a bag with new ticket but contained the original order and old ticket. So long story short we finally received our cold order that was over 1and half hours old. Why......would you not cook a fresh meal and send with driver? Is Saltgrass that petty? It's a shame that a restaurant manager would not correct a wrong no matter the fault. read more

Saltgrass Steak House - Cold salmon dinner in trash untouched. - Steakhouses Near Me - Odessa, Texas

Been to several Saltgrass locations, sat at the bar behind the taps and needed one of the other bar patrons to get the attention of the staff to get served. Had 2 guys next to me who got drinks and appetizers before I was even acknowledged. Just lose that spot vs ignoring your customers. Disappointing! read more

The food is always great. Steak was awesome and the combination with the wedge salad is delicious, refreshing and tasty! But the highlight is the great service from Victor!! Always a great experience at Saltgrass, Odessa. I stop to sit at the bar for a meal every few weeks while in town for work and Malani always remembers me. But, even if she didn't, she provides great service to everyone. The drinks are always cold and perfect, the food is always top notch, and the atmosphere there is relaxing yet fun. Saltgrass is always worth a stop, and the Odessa location is top notch! read more

We were sat next to a very large birthday party and my first concern was, are we going to get waited on! There was a longer wait than I'd like before being approached but once we got rolling, Jonas was all over great service and took care of us well! As I sat there, I thought, this cat reminds of a server we had some time ago. So I looked up past reviews and sure enough, a year ago I left a raving review of his service! One, for a server to continue to serve at one place for over year is rare! Two, for that server to continue to serve with the same consistency is even more rare! Hat's off to Jonas for having the mind set to provide such a level of service consistently! Ask for him next time you visit! read more

Thank you Nayla for a great customer service! Be back soon! read more

The service from Samuel who was working his second day was really good. If I didn't know he was new I wouldn't have known it at all. The added attention from other employees including the hostess and manager on duty was excellent too. My only complaint was that they brought the entree a little too soon. We we're still working on our appetizer and salad. So when we got to the entree it was no longer hot. This was the first time anything like that has happened so I believe it to be an isolated case. The flavor of the food was still very good. It would have been better had it been hot. We didn't say anything to them since it was isolated , but may bring it up the next time we go so that the timing will be better. We always enjoy the ambiance. read more

The ribeye steak; ginormous sweet potatoes & the best salad & dressing. Husband & I were on our way home from Pecos, Tx & were looking for a restaurant on I-20 in Odessa, Tx where we could first; have a place to park our long equipment on a big trailer; .... go in; sit down & have a nice meal after a long day working. Omg .... Everything was a 10‼ We've had many good meals at Saltgrass, while traveling with work, however, we both thought the restaurant was exceptional!! Don't let your manager & staff ever leave!! We will be back!! Thank you for a meal we are still talking about. You raise the bar too high for us to want try another restaurant in your area! See you see. Residents of Odessa, Midland & travelers ..... Check it out!! Easy off & off ramp to the restaurant, of course, with your GPS, because of the construction on I 20 in that area. Great place to stop & let the traffic flow gradually slow down. Be safe out there & check out the Saltgrass in Odessa, Texas. read more

Plenty of parking, should have been my first red flag! Place was empty minus a couple tables with customers. When hostess finally acknowledged us, she said they didn't have any available tables, I was at a loss for words and left! Makes you wonder, Are they picking and choosing who they seat mmmmm smh Not worth the trip coming here! read more

We went for dinner, not expecting anything great, after the last experience we had here, but so glad we gave it another try. Our food was delicious and Madison was our server and she did great. My husband ordered a ribeye steak, it was cooked just right and I ordered the hill salad and enjoyed it very much. I also ordered the brisket queso and chips and they were wonderful as well. If we go back this week we will definitely request Madison to be our server..thank you for redeeming this place.. read more

Came for lunch and had possibly the best chicken fried steak in West Texas. Great service, great food.

Drove to restaurant and found deserted parking lot and a nearly empty restaurant. Waited for hostess to arrive and was told there's no tables or booths available. Save yourself the time and hassle and go elsewhere read more

Service: Crystal our waitress was exemplary. She is definitely an asset to your business!

I enjoyed my visit there very much last night. I enjoyed the decorations and the ambience of the restaurant very much. The music was not too loud. The weight staff was friendly and helpful. I had the ribeye steak, which was flavorful and moist and cooked as ordered. Never beento one of these restaurants before I assume it's a chain. This one in Odessa was very good. I would definitely go back again. The potato soup was excellent. read more

One of Odessa's hidden gems- literally. This Saltgrass location is about a half mile off of Billy Hext Dr and Hoghway 191, nestled amongst the popular Marriott brand hotels and large Ford car dealership. No complaints about the food. Shrimp, be it broiled or fried, still has the flavor of good seasoning. Draft brews? Ice cold, hoppy, and never flat. Great customer service, and the usual upbeat oil crowd make for a pretty good evening. read more

Roman/server was five stars and was also an amazing server and food was delicious.

A great place to stop on a long drive and get a delicious meal. My favorite Saltgrass so far, and that's a credit to the lovely staff, great cooks, and solid manager. First off, I was a strip steak guy until I met the manager here. When he recommended the 16oz ribeye, that choice was right on the spot! Crispy fat, medium outside, and rare inside, the steaks have been great here! Server was great at helping us find the right items, even offering to get them cooked a special way (didn't know that was an option). My iced tea never remained empty for long, and the service was amongst the best I've had at any restaurant. If I'm ever in Odessa again, you'll find me at this Saltgrass! read more

First time coming here. We were honored the happy hour price even though we weren't in bar area. Server was very nice. Got full off of the appetizers. We got the shrimp jalapeños bites and our friend got the brisket nachos. Great happy hour prices. Also tried the pork chop which was thick and sooo juicy. read more
