I've been amazed at how often I must ASK for a second corn tortilla per taco. I'm even more amazed when I'm asked to PAY EXTRA when a second tortilla is requested. Service was Fast and Friendly. While music would add to the atmosphere, I suggest simply picnicking with tacos outside in the gas stations courtyard. Pro tip: buy a 24 oz Colorado Cool Aid in the liquor store adjacent to the restaurant. But if you dine in, you'll be in cramped quarters with a small TV

They absolutely do have really solid food, good portions for the price and speedy/pleasant service. To me, it's still missing that "it" factor and thing that draws me in where I can't stop thinking about it or the next time I need to go back. I don't necessarily crave anything or feel the need to go completely out of my way to come here. I hope they continue to be super successful and always support great local spots so come check them out for sure.

I really like their hot sauce even though you have to pay for it. I do think any place that offers tacos should offer some sort of free salsa(s). I will note that i don't think i'll ever come here when it's hot. Idk if the ac wasn't working or they just don't have ac, but it gets extremely hot. It's like an indoor/outdoor hybrid situation and it's just too stuffy and uncomfortable for me.

Unfortunately, it's not the same. It's a better location and nicer building but the food has declined. It seems they are trying to be more of a pub by serving a variety of genres. If you are looking for tacos, lasagna, pot roast, hamburgers...... then this is the place. I have found that variety tends to breed mediocrity. Our meal was dry but greasy.... Odd combo. Always a great meal…read more I always enjoy going to Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant. They're known for their molcajete, but tonight I tried some other dishes and everything was excellent. The strawberry margaritas are always above average quality -- strong but smooth. Chips came out hot and crispy, and the salsa is terrific. Fresh with just the right amount of kick. We had the combo plate with an enchilada, chile relleno, and tostada, plus the Steak Ranchero with rice and beans. Both were hot, huge portions, and packed with flavor. The tortillas were steamed and fresh. Service was fast and friendly. Consistent quality every time I come here. Highly recommend.
