Probably the best ice cream inside Disney property. They are really good, had a lot of different flavors, plus their size it's good! Service can be a little slower because this location is packed!
I love how friendly everyone always is here. The flavors never disappoint and we always leave with a smile!
Their flavors are unique and it's pricey, but when it's over 90 degrees outside, you won't care how much it costs! I tried some of their fancy flavors but they were too rich for my liking, so I opted for chocolate with brownies which hit the spot. The kids scoop was the perfect portion for me!
Great, unique selections on menu! Staff was patient, professional & efficient! Ingredients are fresh & flavorful!
Salt and Straw is located in Disney Springs. It was on my list to try and I got to try it one Saturday after community day playing pokemon! They have a line at all times so be prepared. It's not as bad as Gideon's line, but in the heat it can be a lot. The ice cream I got was Hazelnut Cookies and Cream and Salted Caramel. I feel like the salt was a bit too much, and I love salty sweet items. The Hazelnut Cookies and Cream was delicious! They change their flavors a lot and some of the items are kind of out there for me. It's a bit pricey, but they are selling quality products. Also, if you are a cast member they give you a discount.
I went to Salt & Straw expecting "just ice cream" and instead got a full-blown personality experience in a cone. First of all, the flavors read like someone dared a chef to turn a farmer's market, a cocktail bar, and a childhood memory into dessert--and somehow it works. I sampled things I cannot pronounce, things I would normally avoid, and at least one flavor that sounded like it belonged in a Thanksgiving side dish. Every single one made me pause mid-bite like, "Wait... why is this actually amazing?" The staff? Unreasonably patient. I asked for so many samples I started to feel like I was conducting a scientific study. Not once did they judge me. If anything, they enabled me. What I appreciate most is that it's not just gimmicky weirdness--there's actual thought behind every flavor. You can taste the intention, the creativity, and possibly a little chaos. Final verdict: Salt & Straw is what happens when ice cream stops playing it safe, goes to art school, and comes back with bold ideas and great taste. Come curious, leave slightly confused but very happy.
Tried a few different ones but settled on the guava and cheese, chocolate coffee, honey lavender and milk tea. Wished they had the last and bleu cheese because that was my favorite in Portland when I had it a long time ago but they said it's a West Coast flavor. It shouldn't be restricted and brought over here. There was no line luckily so got to get in from the heat pretty fast and tried a lot of flavors. It was coo to have samples on a metal spoon instead of plastic and throwing them down a shoot. The place was set up like your standard ice cream shop set up where you move right to left once you get inside. It was nice to try again but it was tad too sweet and couldn't finish 1 flavor fully. Fun flavors but some weren't as profound as I would have liked it and kind of just tasted like plain sugar and milk afterwards
I REALLY enjoyed this! It's always fun to have ice cream but when you get newly imagined flavors. Lavender honey? Yea sign me up. The line was insane on the outside but I will say they moved very quickly which is a major plus! The staff was super friendly and the kept the store to a limit (thus the line) in order for you to order comfortably. They also encourage you to try flavors which is always fun! The ice cream is a perfect creamy texture which makes you realize why they're so popular. They also had some flavored waffle cones - nice bonus! I think for a slightly gourmet ice cream, they are fairly priced and super delicious! The line may scare you at first but it's worth your time!

Walking in, it's like any typical ice cream shop where you can sample their flavors. I ordered a single of strawberry balsamic and black pepper, and my friend ordered a double with strawberry and coconut water. The person taking care of us let us sample a fair amount and was so patient! Prices weren't bad either, so this is one of the places you need to try out!
FOOD We tried: - Sea salt with caramel ribbons: creamy, the perfect ratio of sweet and salty - Cinnamon snickerdoodle: well-spiced, not too sweet - Olive oil: surprising favorite; not too sweet, deep flavor - Tres leches: not too sweet, espresso wasn't overpowering Every flavor we taste tested and had was incredible. I only wish there was a location closer to me to visit more often and try other flavors, but maybe that is a good thing. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! We took a bit to sample some flavors, and they were very patient. AMBIANCE No seating is available inside the store, but seating is available throughout Disney Springs and many guests ate ice cream as they walked around.
Salt & Straw never disappoints. They have another location in South Florida and our all time favorite is Olive Oil flavor ice cream. Today we added the pineapple upside down cake flavor and thoroughly enjoyed both flavors. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was nice and fast paced. Clean. Please try this place if you haven't already. They offer unique and extraordinary ice cream flavors that you normally won't be able to find elsewhere. Be prepared to be hooked. Their flavors are highly additive in a good way! Yes, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who enjoys good high quality ice cream!
HANDS DOWN my favorite ice cream spot! I look forward to trying the new flavors every month. My favorite month is the cereal month! My only complaint is that they didnt bring back the Marion berry and cornflake flavor this year. Its my ultimate favorite flavor! Line can get long but the employees are great and you can try as many samples as you'd like.
I've been to the Salt & Straw in Downtown Disney at Disneyland, but I finally had my first chance to try the location in Disney Springs in Orlando Florida during the 2025 RunDisney Wine & Dine Race. Salt and Straw recently opened this location in 2022. It's near the cirque show. There was a wait line wrapped around the building. It looked like it was moving fast though! When my mom and I got in line, we waited about 15 minutes to place our order. The Salt and Straw entrance feature a three dimensional mural which is pretty cool! Salt & Straw has so many unique ice cream flavors. You'll see Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, Honey Lavendor, and Chocolate Gooey brownie. This location does offer exclusive Florida inspired flavors like the Salty Donut Guava & cheese or the Coffee Chocolate Tres Leches. The menu does rotate monthly with new flavor lineups debuting on the first Friday of every month! The prices typically start at $7.50 for a single scoop and a double approximately $10.25. You can also get pints too from Salt & Straw. We both ended up trying the Tacolate (The Ice cream taco). It's a cinnamon ice cream that is in a waffle cone taco, and then dunked in dark chocolate. It was good and I am glad I had a chance to try it! The service was fantastic at Salt & Straw, even though it was super busy! The team members were helpful. We did end up finding a bench nearby to eat the Tacolates.

Salt & Straw is located in Disney Springs, which is an adventure in itself. I was walking to the parking garage when the smell of fresh waffles called me in. I was completely full from dinner, but I just had to stop. It's a whole experience. Once it's your turn, you literally feel like you're the only person in the store. They let you sample as many flavors as you'd like, which makes choosing incredibly difficult! I finally decided on the Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons in a kid's waffle cone since I was already so full. It was so creamy--the perfect balance of sweet caramel and flaky sea salt, all served in a freshly made waffle cone. I regret nothing. It was the best way to end my night at Disney Springs. read more
I was so excited when Salt & Straw opened in Orlando after first trying it in California. Their unique flavor combinations are always fun, and I love that they let you sample before making your final choice. The first thing you'll notice when walking in is the amazing smell of the fresh waffle cones they bake in house. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and their rewards program is a nice bonus since every purchase earns you points toward free treats. Even though I sample the seasonal flavors, I almost always order a split single scoop of Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons and Double Fold Vanilla in a chocolate or seasonal waffle cone. It's my perfect combo. Since it's at Disney Springs, it can get pretty busy, especially at night, and since it's a small shop the queue line is usually wrapped outside, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Great ice cream, friendly service, and creative flavors keep me coming back. read more

Great ice cream from Salt and Straw. Many unique flavors and you get to try as many as you want. The staff are very nice and helpful to pass out all the samples. It's one way in one way out set up. You move along to get try outs and order. Pay at the end for your purchase. No seating. People just eat and walk in Disney Springs. The ice creams are creamy and fresh. Absolutely a delight for a snack after a heavy meal. read more
I got lucky here because the person who helped me was great. That's probably why I'm leaning towards 4 stars. The persons who helped my wife and mother in law were rude. They definitely took away from the experience since it was our first time. Small inside and kind of hard to see over the glass at the ice cream. My girl let me try as few samples before deciding. Went with the cookie dough in a waffle cone. It was amazing. I would get it again and if you're reading this you should too or at least sample it. read more
After dinner, we needed dessert and this place was packed so we filed in line! The ice cream flavors are very unique and might surprise you. Salt & Straw was exactly what I needed on a hot Florida afternoon! After spending the day walking around in the heat, the idea of a double scoop of their ice cream sounded like heaven -- and it did not disappoint. I went with one of their seasonal flavors (I can't remember the name for the life of me!), but it had rich chocolate brownie chunks and was served in their pumpkin-spiced waffle cone. The combo was unreal -- perfectly warm spices from the cone, fudgy brownie bites, and creamy ice cream that melted just fast enough to remind me it was a sunny day in Orlando. The worker told us this was the biggest cup he ever made LOL The shop itself had such a cheerful, welcoming vibe, and the staff were so friendly and patient while I took forever deciding between all the creative flavors. Everything about the experience felt special -- from the aroma of freshly made cones to the first bite of that seasonal scoop. If you're in the area, don't miss this spot. Whether you're an ice cream purist or love adventurous seasonal flavors, Salt & Straw delivers every time. This salt & straw shop is up to par with the other locations & didn't disappoint! My sister-in-law has a nut allergy and they were able to get ice cream from the back and she was able to enjoy her ice cream alongside us, so please make sure to ask if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies! I was so happy to be able to try all of the vegan ice cream options before settling on the cookies and cream one, and the entire staff at this location was very helpful and patient! The location was clean, the staff worked quickly, and the line was moving fast! Will definitely come again! read more
don't be intimidated by the long line. this place is worth it. Is it the best ice cream ever ? no but it by far the best at disney springs. tons of great and unique flavors and the line moves quickly. the best is the cookie dough and the lavender honey! it's a small building so no tables but the ambiance is fine you can quickly get right back outside to springs and keep walking read more
I stopped here around 9:30pm on a Wednesday night while walking back to our hotel; my team was here on a work trip and wanted dessert. There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly. Really just a takeout spot. I loved that they had how you can "split scoop" on their menu to get 2 flavors without ordering a bigger size, but I never understand why there needs to be an upcharge (only $0.50, but it's just the principle of it). I got the hazelnut cookies & cream, which was AMAZING and just a touch of nuttiness to very good cookies & cream, and the strawberry balsamic black pepper. The balsamic was a little overpowering but I love strawberry ice cream and thought it was unique - just not a flavor I would be able to eat a lot of. Highly recommend trying this place for a twist on classic flavors! read more

This is one of my favorites places to visit in Disney springs. They have so many unique flavors of ice cream and sherbet. The strawberry and coconut water is perfect for Florida. It's light and refreshing and something I've never found anywhere else. I love that they allow you to sample all the different kinds of ice cream. The guava and cheese salty donut is my second favorite. Something about the way guzzo and cheese goes together is so nice. Depending on the time of day you go here, there can be a long wait to get in, especially since people are able to sample so many different flavors. We went around 10:00 p.m. after a concert and were able to pretty much walk right in. The staff here is really friendly and it's a small location but it's easy for you to take your sweet treat on the go. It is $7 for one scoop so sometimes I come here and just try different flavors to make sure I really like it before buying. Definitely a fun spot that is a can't miss if you're at Disney springs. read more

Salt & Straw has some of the most unique flavors Orlando ice cream shops have to offer. They allow you to sample before you buy which is nice, and they also do seasonal flavors which always are delicious! This time I got the Hazelnut Cookies and Cream, which is actually a vegan option using coconut milk, and wow was I amazed by the combination of flavors! Salt and straw really understood the meaning of a sweet treat , and I can't wait to come back for my next one! read more

Our first time to try out the ice cream here and it was very cool. I loved the fact that they let you sample flavors and as many as you wish. The flavors are unique and interesting. We went with the limited edition holiday flavors gingerbread and then the peppermint. The ice cream was pricey so we just got two scoops but it was enough for two to eat! Lines moved quickly. A few tables outside but none are inside the establishment. Very casual and clean inside. You must go at least once! read more
Typical Salt & Straw. Like moves quickly and the workers are nice despite the place always being busy. Stays open really late, great to stop by after getting dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. I like that they have a bunch of interesting flavors but the texture was more icy than I was expecting. read more
We've stopped into Salt and Straw and few times in the past while visiting Disney Springs. This is the first time reviewing it. The line is always super long but always worth it! Everyone there is always super friendly and helpful. Today I ordered the Cinnamon Snickerdoodle Milkshake with pistachio milk. It was very good and loved the flavor! Amazing ice cream. They can have a line out the door and down the block so if you see no line run in and get some ice cream quick. The staff is super nice and make sure you sample all the flavors that you can when you're there. read more

Salt & Straw in Orlando is absolutely worth the line--and they somehow make the wait feel effortless. The staff is incredibly efficient at keeping things moving while still being warm, personal, and never rushing you. They happily let you sample flavors, explain them, and make the experience feel fun instead of chaotic. The ice cream itself is outstanding. The cheese and guava flavor was surprisingly delicious and perfectly balanced. I ended up getting the caramel and sea salt (classic for a reason) and the coffee tres leche. read more
