Highly recommend! All the staff are super polite and seem like they actually wanna be there, food is ready super fast and it actually tastes fresh. The place smells so good cause of the food, and the place is always clean too. Idk how old the bad reviews are, but I never had an issue with the staff, portions, food, or even asking about ingredients. read more

Salsa Grille is The Shiznat! Seriously. I wish there was one closer to home. Similar to the Mexican fast-casual, you do down the assembly line, starting with what type of food item you want (tacos, burrito, a bowl, salad, etc) and add your proteins and veggies and sauces and assorted toppings as you go down the line. You've been to these places before. One of the things that stand out for me is the variety of items available. Yes, they've got chicken and beef and barbacoa, but they also have chimichurri chicken, which is an absolute stand-out item. If you're unfamiliar with chimichurri, it's chicken that's typically sautéed with finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano and red wine vinegar. That leads to a very green colour, but the taste is (insert chef's kiss here). I typically get mine in bowl but vary the toppings over time. As you go down the line and add your toppings you're basically creating your own meal. At the end of the line you're handed your meal on a tray and each order comes with a small bag of freshly made chips and you can chose from any one of about ten different types of salsa. I've tried most of them, my favorite being the tomatillo because it tastes so fresh, but they're all made fresh in store and each has its own distinct flavor. We've been to this location a number of time and the service has always been awesome and the facility has been very clean. They do a great job of keeping the dining room clean. Salsa Grille has yet to recover from Covid practices regarding the Salsa Bar, but I get that. It saddens me, but I get it. Currently your salsa is kept in 2oz soufflé cups behind the line and you have to request it at the counter. I'm sure as we move further towards Covid recovery that the Salsa Bar will return. In a world of QDoba, Moe's, Chipotle, and Salsarita, I'd take Salsa Grille over all of them. If I had the means I'd bring a Salsa Grille franchise to Louisville. read more

Good food for the price, helpful and quickly served. I really hope these folks live on sub minimum wage as they are awesome. Please tip well and order the habanero salsa and carnitas burritos. read more

Got a call from my stepson this afternoon..."I'm on my way to your part of town. Can I bring you and mom some lunch?" We couldn't pass on that and he stopped at Salsa Grill for steak, chicken and ground beef tacos. Our tacos came nicely packaged and stuffed with meat and topped with onion, cilantro, and cotija cheese. In every box was a small tub of spicy salsa and pieces of lime! Everything was perfect and we pigged out. I could only eat three. It was a fabulous lunch. read more

I've been faithfully going to this location since it first opened years ago. I am just SHOCKED at the lower reviews. The food is FRESH....... full of amazing flavor......and made very quickly. Plus, the GUAC is included on most entrees unlike the other 'place'. The green chicken is out of this world.....I love it and it's so unique. You cannot find this at most Mexican restaurants. Chips and salsa included with your meal. My ONLY negative is that it's time to update the seating. It's not as comfortable. Staff is always friendly, and the food is FRESH AND FLAVORFUL! read more

go to any salsa grille but this one. the name is literally salsa grille and they will only give you three small cups of salsa.

The food was delicious. All kinds of different salsas to try. We loved the pineapple salsa. I had a taco salad my sister had a burrito. Everything was very fresh. It was fast, the place was clean. Highly recommend it. read more

Don't ask for extra lettuce. Visited on a Monday for their special to give this place a try. I am doing Whole 30 so my options are limited. No rice, beans, chips, sour cream etc. So I asked for extra lettuce. When I got to the checkout I was told it was no longer a bowl since I got extra lettuce and it no longer qualified for the Monday special. I was told to pay the salad price or leave. So I left and drove down to Moe's where they had no problems giving me extra lettuce. I will not be back. read more

It's like Chipotle, if Chipotle was completely bland. Seriously disappointing. The salsa was flavorless and had no heat, the burritos lacked any flavor aside from the cilantro, and the chips were hard and stale. I would stay far away from this establishment if you enjoy food that has flavor. read more

Burritos are a bit like Chipotle. Nothing that really resembles good salsa or Mexican style tacos. Guacamole isn't very flavorful or fresh & tastes like green goo. read more

All locations are fantastic. Food always fresh and wonderful. Owner and all the employees are top notch!

Fast, fresh and delicious. Also great salsa options. 100% better than chipotle. Not overly salted. Just perfect!! Can't beat their burrito specials on Monday either! read more

My favorite place of all time! Such great food & such a great deal for chips & guac. My favorite is the steak quesadilla. This location was clean & I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. We were only in FW for a short while & I miss Salsa Grille already! read more

We have been to Salsa Grille many times. But I have to ask, what has happened to their chips? They are hard and difficult to chew. Something has changed and it wasn't for the better. read more

Tired of chipotle and looking for something fresh? Definitely stop in and give it a try. I've been coming here almost every Monday for their specials ($5.99?) which includes your choice of burrito or bowl + chips + a drink. I usually get the chicken. They have the typical add on selections like chipotle (lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, etc) but I think it looks more fresh! Oh and guacamole is freeee!! They also have a salsa station which is amazinggggg! I usually get all of it just to try it out! Def check out this place if you want something fresh :) read more

Solid, build-your-own style Mexican fare. Comparable to Chipotle or Moe's, but better. Guac is not extra. They also have a self-serve salsa bar with many, many options. if you like a sweet salsa, try the grilled pineapple salsa! read more

This place is full of variety. It seems like there aren't many options at first glance, but you can really put together your own thing. I usually chose a bowl with rice and steak along with corn, pico, queso, lettuce, and guacamole. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! You get chips and salsa with it whether you eat there or take to go and the salsa bar has something for everyone. I've missed this place and usually stop in when in town. You don't have to eat the bowl right away - it's good hot or warm! read more

Please Get rid of the flys and keep the food served hot. It was that way last October-2016, we stop going. And recently were giving the place another try. It went back on hold. Thanks read more

Very good, fast and fresh option in Fort Wayne! I stopped by for a quick lunch to-go for the family. It's the style of Chipotle or Qdoba, but better! They have a lot more options, including some delicious sauces (aka tomatillo ranch) and also queso fresco. They also have a HUGE salsa bar, with tons of options, like pineapple chipotle or creamy avocado. Everything was really good, including the chips and queso. I definitely will visit again when in town. read more

I have loved this place ever since it opened, and I even went there when it was just a humble taco stand inside of George's International market. There is nothing complicated about SG. It's simply Chipolte done with better ingredients, and everything here is fresh and very tasty. I have been to all of the Baja Fresh clones all over the country, and this is by far the best. Prices are good, service is fast, and the food is very flavorful. I have been here dozens of times, and the experience has always been top notch. read more

The driver did not deliver to hotel room door as promised for livid non contact delivery. I had a three item order and one of the items was not delivered. Lastly ... I called the store. No info ... just a run around. read more

I didn't believe my friends when they told me that Salsa Grille was better than Chipotle... But my 3rd time here I will finally admit it! THEY HAVE THE BEST TOFU! Fried to order, and soft and flavorful. I'm still working on liking tofu, but if it all tastes this way I wouldn't look back! You can add so much stuff onto your order, for no extra cost! Yes, free guacamole. Life is made. The chips are delicious and they have a salsa bar! So far the pineapple is my favorite! Definitely give this place a shot!! read more

Ok, so I've been to salsa grille, and it's fine. But I can't even begin to understand the reviews that say it's better than Chipotle. It's not. It's not better than Qdoba. It may be on par with Moe's in terms of taste/flavor, but that's not saying a lot. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate it. The two star review goes like this: the Stars have a sliding scale in my mind. Fast casual restaurants have a handicap of 1 stars, which means the best they can do is 4 stars. Likewise, fast food is handicapped by 2 stars for a max of 3. This place is ok. Not great, but ok. I won't be running here weekly, or even monthly. But give it a try - you may have a different experience. read more

Like this place . It's our go to. They staff is friendly and u get great food. Love all the salsa's for the chips! Great idea!! Always clean too. read more

Traveling through Ft. Wayne And I was looking for an exit to jump off and eat, on my way back to indy. Just happened upon this at exit 302 off I-69 South. Wow, is it delicious. I had three corn tortillas tacos with chicken and shredded cheese, mild salsa, onion, guacamole on the side and picked out more salsa from salsa bar. There food quality and flavor is so much better than Moe's, or other similar places. For instance the chicken was leaner and flavored nicely. We need a Salsa in Indianapolis on the south side! read more

I have ate here a few times. It is similar to a Moe's. It is attached to Salud Tapas N Tequila. They have a large salsa bar to pick from and a Pepsi brand dispenser that you can add flavors to your drink, which is similar to the ones you see from the Coke brand. The food here is good. read more

I've been a regular at the Coldwater and Broadway locations, but this new spot is a great new option out southwest. I eat here for two reason: locally owned and fresh food. The staff at all locations are not the most personable, and even when it's not busy you feel rushed. The carnitas and chimichurri chicken are my favorites and make sure you try to lime tomatillo ranch dressing...it's amazing. For a fast casual dining experience with bottomless chip and salsa, this place is great. read more

One of my favorites! I live nearby and I love to stop in whether it's for lunch or just to grab some chips and salsa to go. The staff is always friendly and they keep the line moving. The environment is clean and has lots of seating availability. Sometimes if they are busy over the lunch hour extended seating is offered at Salud! next door. If you are looking for a good day to get a deal stop in on Monday. They have burrito or bowl specials which includes chips and a drink. My favorite is the tacos - they use fresh, warm corn tortillas (or flour if you prefer) heating them over the grill right as you order them. Then I load them up with usually one chicken and one steak. They offer a variety of fresh cilantro, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. I LOVE the guacamole which tops it off. Not to mention the fresh salsa bar...hello choices! If you haven't tried this place stop in; you won't be disappointed. read more

I've been curious about this restaurant for quite some time and finally worked up the nerve to go inside and try it. My excitement soon turned to disappointment when I tasted the food. The chips were not salted and reminded me of something I would get from the skating rink as a child. The guacamole was more like succotash. It was made up of chunks of tomato and onion with a tiny bit of slimy avocado mixed in. The tacos were bland and flavorless. Even my elderly mother thought they were bland and she doesn't like flavor. Lol. The only redeeming factor was that the restaurant was spacious, mostly clean, and the employees were very nice and helpful. If you are wondering about this restaurant, I implore you to save your hard-earned money. read more

Best corn tortillas around. Always get them! Corn tortillas. Carne asada. Onions. Cilantro. Lime.

Good food good salsa... nice people unlimited chips and their tomateo salsa is the best

Food quality was no different than the other location. I did notice cobwebs on all the light fixtures. There was a guy pacing around talking on his cell phone in the dining area the entire time we ate. I think he was part of management. Kind of a distraction and unnecessary. Just as good as the one inside George's but even more options! Salsa bar is amazing and I especially like the pineapple salsa which is a little sweet and spicy at the same time. Great guacamole too. You can get tacos, burritos or a bowl and you get to choose from tons of fantastic ingredients, all fresh and flavorful! It gets pretty busy at lunch time so plan ahead. Oh and they have margaritas! I have been going to Salsa Grille almost every Monday since they opened. My friend and I were there Monday as normal and he asked for the lettuce be put on the bottom of his burrito bowl. Their response was we cannot do that. He asked again for the lettuce to be on the bottom of the bowl. Again we cannot do that. After we sat down, I went to the manager and spoke with him. He explained if the lettuce is on the bottom, it becomes a salad. Ridiculous! I told him we would not be back, he said that was my choice and turned his back on me and left. Business must be excellent. I have told my friends, family and co-workers of what happened. read more

A better take on fast food Mexican than Chipotle. Fresh ingredients, enough choices you can mix it up but not too many to be overwhelming, and good prices. The salsa bar with all the choices takes the cake. The salsas are fresh and diverse - try the avocado salsa! The meats are lean and they give you good sized portions. Service was fast and friendly. The one negative would be the mildness of everything. I've eaten at the George's Market version and things had more spice. I'm guessing they toned everything down for the location. Northeastern Indiana is not synonymous with spice. Overall a great place! read more
