Convenience of ordering fast and customizing just like Chipotle. Much fresher and a surprisingly different take on fast food Mexican food. Every meal comes with a small sampling of chips and salsa too! I got the chicken bowl with some homemade queso and all the fresh toppings I was in the mood for on this warm Spring day. Comes with options of different rices, beans, and fresh veggies and fajitas + homemade sauces like mango habanero and chipotle aioli. For drinks, you have the option of adding a bottled Jarritos or using a self-serve soda machine with crafty Boylan Bottling sodas. I came during lunch; the restaurant has convenient plaza parking and a pleasant environment inside with A/C and music. The metal tables and wooden stools give an industrial, modern look. Guests were entering and leaving at a steady pace for take-out as most tables were filled with family or couples. A busy spot means you know there's good food! read more

Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill - Chicken bowl! Fresher than any Chipotle I've been to - Salad Near Me - Carmel, New York

Just got home with my online order and my food was missing. How to you screw up an order with 2 items?

Team members not trained, was double charged they called there manager he told them he'd put it through when he comes in couple days later???? So I paid for 2 bowls got 1, didn't get my water I paid for either. Sent in for corporate to call 4 days ago. no follow up, it's ridiculous how do you have two kids running a store? They have no idea how to use the POS system. Can't control customer service told me to try to do it on my own online. Still haven't heard from anyone. I'm owed 18 bucks plus my water it's not the point the point that how do you have someone open a store with no one on duty that knows how to run it. I'm a business owner. This was absolutely embarrassing for the business. read more

I decided to try this place - it's a Chipotle knockoff. I ordered the Mexicali Blue. @ $10.95, it was one of the cheaper options on the menu. The staff was friendly and efficient and I had my burrito in less than 3 minutes. Then I went to sit down. The dining room didn't have not even 1 clean table. I literally had to go get napkins and wipe my own table/seat down. Unacceptable. While I was cleaning my table I glanced at the 3 workers doing nothing. While they were BS'ing I was doing there job. Big star loser there. Then I began to eat my rice and bean burrito. I renamed it because it was 95% rice and beans with a dash of chicken. It was bland bland bland. The miniscule amount of green sauce tasted good, but it was only present for 2 bites. It came with chips and salsa which made me happy, until I began to eat them. The salsa tasted like a v8 and the chips were stale-ish. Overall this was a disappointing lunch and I can say I won't be back. Dirty tables and mediocre food make it a bust. And although the staff were friendly, look alive and clean the damn tables! *Edit - I reached out to the manager as requested (see below) twice and heard nothing back. All show no go, I guess read more

Love this place. It's always clean and the food is great. The workers are the best. They are professional, courteous and friendly. They work so hard and always have a smile on their faces. We will keep going back to Salsa Fresca. read more

Soggy, disgusting nachos. I'm hungry so I decided to walk into salsa Fresca for Mexican food. As soon as I stepped in I saw moist spots on the floor like they forgot to continue cleaning. The place was pretty much empty with little to no people besides the employees. I decided to order some nachos because how could you mess up nachos, right? When I finally received my nachos I drove home. When I sat down and took a bite It was nasty. It was smothered with sour cream and almost no guacamole. The chips somehow tasted stale and it being even worse that the fact you could only taste sour cream when eating it. There would probably be better items hopefully. read more

Great place. Manager is really cool and their workers are always very kind. Food is great and all around great experience

Every time I order ahead the order is wrong and they've never started the order until I come into the store which is after the time it's stated to be ready when you order. Have given them several chances to do better and each time it's worse than the last. Poor quality, small portions and the order is wrong - don't bother. read more

Never manages to give me the guacamole I order and pay for. Lack of attention to detail.

This is fast food chain serving great fresh ingrediants. Their Birria Bowl is a great alternative to the burrito. Matter of fact its been my favorite. Most of the time after eating my burrito half of it ends up either on the table or on my lap. Ha! Ha! Salsa Frescca Mexican Grill is solid where you end up leaving happy! read more

The service at the Carmel location is outstanding! The food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Salsa Fresca.

Staff was very friendly and my in app order was correct. However I have to say that the amount of avocado in my bowl for an additional $2.25, was pathetic. I feel like it gets less and less every time. In the past if I knew I was bringing the bowl home to eat, I simply add my own avocado. There are such minuscule slivers, you barely can even tell it's in there. read more

Love the food quick and easy people work there butts off there and are really sweet one of best in town

Marvin was attentive , friendly & just overall made my experience a 15/10. He understood what I wanted & made sure I was 110 % satisfied. read more

i love coming to this salsa fresca after school with my friends. the workers always care for us when they see a bunch of teenagers coming. the food is delicious and always looking forward to eating it read more

We always have a great experience here. The wait staff are always attentive and nice. The food is always fresh. We normally order salad bowls which are always packed. Definitely recommend for a quick grab and go lunch or dinner. read more

My wife placed an order by phone, and they said 30 minutes for pickup. I arrived, and the place was empty. I was the only one in the store, and the food was not ready. They began the order when I said I was here for pickup. I was patient and waited. What burns me is that the worker showed me how to use the iPad-like screen and told me about the tip process at checkout. Funny how there is no tip option in the first row but hidden in the CUSTOM in the lower right corner, and why do I have to compensate the workers with tips because the owner is not paying enough to his staff? Pay your workers a fair wage and remove the digital tip jar, this isn't a restaurant, and you don't even have delivery service. read more

Promised a pick up time of 2:31pm got to the store at that time it was 2:50 when they just started my order.

When I'm never sure what to get for dinner Salsa Fresca it is! I love there bowls filled with rice, chicken, cilantro, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and sour cream. They have really good side dipping sauces I'm a big fan of the chipotle aioli. There chips are crunchy and tasty too! read more

This is the replica of chipotle.... The food taste terrible. OMG. I order a chicken quesadilla. You go any where to order a quesadilla; it's SIMPLE. Cheese and chicken on a tortilla. NOT HERE.... chicken quesadilla had guacamole, tomatoes, corn, onion, cilantro, a little bit of chicken and CRAZY AMOUNT OF CHEESE. Lmfaoooo. Unbelievable but true. You better order from Taco Bell than to come here. read more

Wow so on May 1st they had a grand opening they offered every person a free burrito it lasted till about 6:30 p.m. then they ran out of food as to be expected seeing they were giving free food from the time they opened well into dinner hour the burritos were delicious I would say Chipotle has competition There is something different inside the Mexican corn it tastes like a potato or something but it was really good and for 795 any other day of the week I would say you get your money's worth plus a little extra read more

We had our kids "Dragons Love Tacos" party catered by Salsa Fresca Carmel. The tacos where a HUGE hit. Kids, adults, grandparents, vegetarians, vegans, and even the dragons loved the food and found something they loved. I was surprised at how well everything was organized, the amazingly fresh ingredients, and the customer service. read more

Would never go here , my friend ordered $60 of food on there website for 5/5 , upon arrival for curbside pickup ( for her food that was paid for on line ) no one would answer the phone , she called for 3 hours to no avail, the line inside the store was not safe for social distancing so she remained in her car . Trying to resolve today was told manager would call her and didn't, when she called back told manager to busy to talk to her . She will bump it up to corporate , but would never recommend. I'm sure she wasn't the only one this happened too . read more

A few weeks ago my son and I visited Salsa Fresca in order to try something different. We were pleasantly surprised with the options available to us, but more importantly, we were really satisfied with the service we received. The staff member noticed that we were new to Salsa Fresca so he showed great patience with us when it came time to look over the menu and ask any questions we may have. He also took the time to go over their loyalty program through the app. As for the food, just as good as the service. I can guarantee that we will definitely be back when the craving comes up. read more

Wasn't the best first time experience. Did curb side pick up, they were 15 min over the puck up time and the requests for certain ingredients to not be added were ignored. I'm not saying I won't give them another try, but I'd probably go inside to place the order that time. read more

I will never return to this place!!!! Today was my second time going to salsa fresca, the first experience was pleasant and the staff friendly (this past Saturday). However cannot say the same for my visit today both me and my wife asked for half baja and half regular chicken. The women attending us gave us double and intended to charge as such. When my wife explained we wanted half and half the man charging at the counter laughed and said it was no problem to make it again. While they are remaking our bowls they charge us and give the bowls that had the double chicken to other customers who seemed to know the employees. When we received our bowls it looked like it was a 3rd of the original size of our bowls and trust me their scoops of chicken were not generous on the first bowls. Completely disappointed. I voiced my issue with the man behind the counter but the employees were rude and saw the whole situation as comedy. I bet they would not be happy spending their hard earned money on what we got. Instead of asking us what the bowls had the woman just dug her gloved hand into the bowl and told the other woman the ingredients. I will never return. Just drive to chipotle. The way they laughed while remaking just clearly showed to me and my wife that they were punishing us for having them remake it. I know a business like this does not care about it's customers with the employees they have working but i'd rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

The food was good and the person running the register when I visited at 2pm yesterday was so friendly and really made my day. This place is kind of like Chipotle and its nice having that here when we're so Chipotle-lacking. read more

I was surprised that it wasn't more crowded but I think even with a huge line it would move quickly as the workers were definitely hustling behind counter. They have two rice options (Mexican and Brown) and a variety of meats, salsas and other toppings. You can get a burrito, a burrito bowl (taco shell or regular non edible bowl) tacos or quesadilla. You go down the line (like Chipotle) and tell them what you'd like, or you can order off their menu. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly and efficient, especially for being only open a super short time. read more

Tried eating here opening day when they were giving out free burritos and was very very disappointed the closed early at 7 pm and did not tell anyone beforehand instead at 8 pm the employees were looking at everyone trying to come and try there food like they were idiots. That is horrible customer service!!! Made me not want to go back and try them. Unfortunately my daughter wanted it so we came back to try there food. The food is fresh and very tasty. Pricing is OK would definitely take out from there again. We wrote the corporate headquarters about the closing early issue and we were ignored. Not even a apology just horrible. Maybe we will come back again maybe not...... read more

food tasted OK/good, just nothing of wow-factor in there. Generally we will be back when in need of a quick food fix and it is definitely much better than regular fast food joints. pros - claimed to be hormone/antibiotic free ingredients and no trans fats etc... cons = Chips and salsa - Salsa is good and spicey but chips are pretty non-descript and bland. read more

I recently catered a taco bar from this location and it was fantastic! I worked with Billy the catering sales manager who was so on top of everything! He kept in touch through out the planning process, offered suggestions on menu options and even followed up to ensure I was happy with everything. We had someone come to deliver and set up of the food. It was on time, fresh and there was tons of food and options for everyone. Everyone raved about how great it was. They made hosting stress free and I will absolutely be using them again! read more

Last Saturday, I picked up a catering order for a small party. I had decided on the taco bar option with ground beef and shredded BBQ beef. All good! The taco bar is quite versatile...guests made tacos, salads, etc. The whole ordering process was seamless and they provide you with everything you need. The manager and workers at the Carmel location were helpful and super nice. The food was great and everyone at the party was impressed. I usually visit the Yorktown location since it is closer to my job. All the food is great there, too! I look forward to Salsa Fresca's expansion into Dutchess County! read more

Good food. Good variety. Best lemonade ever. All staff is nice and helpful and enjoy taking your order. My only complaint about salsa is the style of the inside eating. Reminds me of a prison, or school cafeteria and is not the most appealing environment to eat in read more

Food is good. Portions are VERY SMALL. The guy looked like he was counting the strands of shredded beef that he was putting in my burrito bowl. I have no problem paying for food, but give me what I pay for.$10 for some rice, lettuce, cheese, beans, and some beef strands. I don't have this problem at Chipotle.... read more

Love it here. Food taste amazing, the prices are fair, and the service is awesome. I love coming here with my friends daily

They have gone down hill. Unfortunately, have messed up our order the last three times. We don't order from there anymore.

I'm not normally not a big fan of places like chipotle and Moe's but i tried it out and had a great experience. The place is clean, friendly staff, and the food was delicious! The portions are huge too. I tacos with chicken and shredded beef and i absolutely loved it. The staff was also very friendly and patient especially since i was having a hard time decided what i wanted. Definitely recommend. read more

Easy for curbside pickup!! Employees did a great job maintaining distance and taking proper precautions. Got a delicious taco bowl.

I loved it! I've driven by the location on federal road in Brookfield many times and always wondered what they had to offer. When I saw one opening in Carmel I was so excited! I promised myself I wouldn't compare it to chipotle which I have a great love for. I went during the lunch rush (they have a nice $5 deal for students) but everything moved smoothly and very quickly. I got the Aztec garden bowl as a burrito and loved every bite. It feels like they have more options than chipotle and the veggies in my wrap were delicious. The spicy salsa was so so good too. For two people a bowl, burrito and two sodas was around $20. I was also full for the entire day so totally worth it. The employees were really kind and smiley. Even all the customers seemed happy, overall great energy in the place. Finally something decent to eat in Carmel! I really hope they add online ordering so I can make quick dinner stops after work. read more

Great food, polite servers. Our server was Kevin. Delicious salsas. Way better than chipotle
