First time ordering a pizza from here. The price is pretty good based on what you get. They don't skimp out on toppings. We got our pizza within 30min (pickup). The service was good. A bunch of guys who were in good spirits. They do not take card (debit or credit). Cash, zelle and I believe venmo. No place to sit, just order and go. We got a medium 3 topping. Their prices include tax. So we paid $27. The pizza was delicious. And we didn't get to eat it right away. The dough is thick. And there were plenty of toppings as mentioned above. It is my belief that this establishment is under newer ownership and I have nothing personal against the new owners however, I know the pizza under the previous ownership was far superior. My guess, and it's only a guess is that the new ownership did not learn how to make pizza the way the old ownership did, and therefore the quality of the pizza has diminished in my opinion. I was the biggest fan of this place and just yesterday, I ordered a pepperoni pizza and literally all the toppings fell off a couple of pieces as I ate the pizza, and also it was very dry without much flavor. Usually there's a base tomato paste laid over the crust. This was absent from the pizza. There was plenty of pepperoni but it was dry. I know these people are trying to make a successful business and I hope that they see this as an indicator that they need to be more consistent in their preparation and I would try to adhere to the way this pizza was prepared previously, or ensure that THEIR pizza is flavorful. I understand saving money by not accepting checks and cash, but there is a seven dollar delivery fee, which is a flat delivery fee, which is a little high being that I live 3 miles from their business and that should be factored in in my opinion. Paying seven dollars for a six pack of Coke. It's not a huge markup so I can't complain about that, but I hope the quality improves and until then I'll be looking for another pizza place. read more

The food was actually pretty good, and the portions were very generous. I believe this may be a privately owned location, and overall, the food itself was decent. However, there were a couple of things that really surprised me. First, their hours are extremely limited. They don't open until the afternoon and only stay open for a few hours before closing. It makes it very difficult to plan a visit. The biggest issue for me, though, was the payment method. They only accept cash and Zelle. No credit cards. In this day and age, I honestly find that very unusual. Who carries a lot of cash around anymore? And using Zelle to pay a business also feels strange to me, since Zelle is more commonly used for personal payments. I'm not making any assumptions about why they choose to operate this way, but as a customer, it definitely made me uncomfortable and confused. It would be much more convenient and professional if they accepted regular credit or debit card payments. The food is good and the portions are generous, but the limited hours and cash/Zelle-only policy are the main reasons I'm giving this place 2 stars. read more

We've been going to Sal's Pizza so long, they used to be across the street, behind Bob's Big Boy Restaurant, and that was a long time ago! Anyway, we purchased four pizza's for the Superbowl back in February 2026. Each pizza was delicious, with the ingredients tasty , and each perfectly placed on each pie! Not only were the pizza's perfectly on time, they were scrumptious to the taste. Our party consisted of one guy and four women, and each woman had two pieces! The payment through Zelle is an excellent way to pay, so good that more restaurants like this should accept these types of payment plans. I've ordered from Sals a ton of times, I have ALWAYS tipped good. No matter how much the bill is it's always $15-25. Any delivery driver that came to my house can attest that. Today I call to order delivery he tells me well with gas prices and to go that far we'd rather you pick it up... I mentioned I tip well every time and if they delivered to me before it shouldn't be an issue. Gas prices aren't my problem, if they worried about gas charge a higher delivery fee and if people don't want to pay it that's up to them. Just frustrating. Sals lost a very good customer. Horrible service, horrible pizza. The last time we ordered a pizza from here, they still had delivery. We had to order an extra large because of the minimum amount for delivery. The pizza was RAW!!!!!! Now delivery is not every day and they DO NOT accept their own coupon!! Went in to complain and the owner, unfortunately not Sal, yelled when I told him the pizza was RAW!!! I was in the neighborhood and wanted to pick up a pizza, saw Sal's in the Sprouts shopping center and looked it up on Yelp. I used to go to 19th Street across the street, cheap pizza but the quality was ok until the owner burned me. Bought 5-6 extra large pizzas and asked for any specials, he told me they didn't have any that applied. When I got there, he still didn't mention anything. Imagine spending over $100 on pizza when there WAS a special that applied? Anyway, Sal's was really good, definitely more expensive but the quality was excellent. I have been coming to Sal's for 28 years now. My dad was in town so I wanted him to try it. I ordered and forgot to bring cash. They told me I could Zelle the money but I don't typically do that. Kind of freaks me out lol. Probably not a big deal but I like to pay cash. They told me not to worry to have my husband do it when I got home. They told me to take the pizza and that was so sweet. Good pizza, a bit expensive but it's worth supporting a local business. My partner and I tried out this place for the first time this past weekend. There is no place to sit down and eat, it is 100% a pick up and go pizza place. There are just a couple chairs to sit while you wait for your order. We were not disappointed with our order, pizza's are freshly made and come out hot! I'm a big fan of how they loaded our pizza up with toppings! My only complaint was I wish it was a bit more crispy, the bottom of our pizza wasn't undercooked.. just a bit soft. If it had been cooked for a couple extra minutes for the bottom to get firm/crunchy this pizza would have been perfection! I will definitely be back and attempt to request my pizza to be cooked a bit longer if possible. Even then I still enjoyed and would recommend anyone to try this place! read more
