We waited around 30 minutes in the very clean and calm lobby which has tinted windows to create a cozy but private setting. Marquise was our tattoo artist and he was so kind, very patient, and quick with a steady hand! He was able to knock two arm tattoos out in about an hour which was impressive. I went to moving pictures to get my nose pierced. The staff were very nice. That being said, they…read moremessed my piercing up pretty bad. They told me I could get pierced with a hoop (I have never heard of any piercing place doing this), and assured me it was totally fine. I wanted a hoop in the long run, so I went with it because if the piercer said it was fine then it should be fine right?? It was in fact not fine. I had a large irritation bump on my piercing for months. I went back to ask why the bump wouldn't go away and I was told there was hair in my piecing. There was not hair in my piercing. I ended up going to a different piercer who told me they should have never given me a hoop right after piercing because the wound will never heal correctly due to the angle of the hoop. He switched me out for a stud, told me to STOP using the saline solution as it just excessively dries out the piercing. Within a week of switching to a stud and stopping the use of the saline solution the bump was already almost gone. Once again, the staff were very kind. I'm not here to say never come to this place, but maybe just consider how they are potentially not using their best judgement at times!

I was a little early for my appointment but he finished what he was working on and then helped me within like 5 minutes. Rob is a super friendly guy and very professional. The piercing was a little painful but that's obviously to be expected and was very quick. Rob explained all of the after care to me and gave me his card to call him with any concerns. I was in and out within 15-20 minutes. Also the other artist had the cutest, sweetest pup on a leash and let me pet her! Great place. Definitely will return for more piercings in the future. Also the price for the piercing was much more affordable than most of the shops in Cleveland. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive for me!

After leaving a studio who did all that and more for me on the east coast, mid-ear project, I was on the hunt. GoodLife is appointment only, with reputable piercers, jewelry options and a cleanliness that reminds you of a fancy (but cool) drs office. NGL my first visit, I was welcomed by a tough FOH. I'd be lying if it wasn't the first time I've encountered a person who treated someone who is not as alt presenting differently. BUT my knowledge of jewelry and brands, placements and piercing upkeep is thorough and the reason I bothered driving 45 mins to this studio. Upon making my appointment I picked out Kelly, who JUST so happened to work that weekend. They were AHMAZING, sweet, professional, and made you feel good. And for me, it was good enough to keep coming back. They introduced me to Ezra, the studio manager, for a custom order placement and that interaction continued to make up for the initial not so great check in. I've been back 2 more times since and have had great service each time. I've been introduced to Marissa as well and look forward to having a second piercer to work with on my ears. Folks know but its like tattoo artists, you just end up with your go-tos.
