I come here every week and I've been doing so for the past 7 months now. Again .. I come "every week" for my regular haircut! I am very picky with my barbers and when I stick to certain location I don't really change it unless I get treated bad or I don't feel appreciated. Today for the first time I brought my mother and she couldn't be any happier with her nails and eye brows.. Definitely a place to come and get your things done.. price is very reasonable and they are extremely friendly and funny! Btw . I love their music and I will be coming back for as long as I live in the area. A++

My nail tech moved here from another salon and I wanted to follow her. Got my appointment online…read moreand paid my deposit for regular manicure with Isabella. On my first visit I was impressed with the decor and staff seems friendly and a large amount of nail colors! She is very meticulous and always pleasant. Even with the differences from the old salon I was pleased until the nail polish chipped off in a week and had to remove the polish! This had never happened before so I took pictures to show her. On my next appointment 2 weeks later I showed the pictures and she said I should have told her and she would've fixed it!!! This next appointment Isabella had a new top coat for me to use and was much better to keep the polish from chipping! I've gotten many compliments on my nails this time! The only downside of this salon is the cost of a regular manicure at $30 I feel is overpriced from the last salon I was at and paying $10 more. If I wanted to get a french or any designs they charge much more on top of the $30. So I'll stick with just a regular manicure for now.

I wish I could give zero stars : Terrible experience from start to finish…read more I came in for a hair appointment, and the stylist was late right off the bat. Then she botched the dye job because she didn't leave the color on long enough -- so she had to do it again. That alone wasted an hour and a half of my day. Then I had to wait even longer because she decided to straighten someone else's hair mid-appointment. Another 20 minutes gone. I paid $360 for tape-in extensions, plus $75 per bundle to install. And guess what? The extensions started falling out after just 17 hours -- not even one full day. I was told they would last 20 days. What a complete ripoff. I reached out to the salon, hoping they'd make things right. Their response? The only thing they offered was a free reinstall. Why would I let them touch my hair again after everything that went wrong? No refund, no real apology, just a weak excuse for customer service. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. I wasted time, money, and walked away feeling completely scammed.

My experience as a nail tech at this salon was a nightmare. Van, Ana, and Linda treated me with…read moreextreme disrespect every day and seemed to be working together to find ways to get rid of me. The owner (Van) seemed to be threatened by my skills. Rather than addressing her concerns directly, she spoke bad about me to clients who requested me and discouraged them from booking my services. I bet the owner will lie about what happened, so I will attach the screenshots shared by a customer (see attached). When I brought this issue to her attention today, she fired me and threatened to report me to the NJ State Board of Cosmetology & Hairstyling to have my license revoked, despite signing an attestation to the government couple of weeks prior. This feels like outright retaliation; if she genuinely believed I was not properly trained by her own self, she should not have signed the form in the first place. Every day was a struggle as she gaslighted me into thinking I was the problem, when she was truly the core issue. Her unprofessional behavior not only undermined my confidence, but also created a toxic atmosphere. Several clients noted the negativity and some even decided not to return. If you're seeking a pleasant nail salon experience and a supportive staff environment, this salon is NOT the place for you. SX Nails & Spa serves as a prime example of how poor leadership can damage both a workplace and a business's reputation.

I came in for a spa pedicure and chose the Jasmine Pedicure ($55). The service included wax on the bottoms of my feet and a 15-minute massage, but unfortunately, I never received the hot stone massage that was advertised. My nail tech, Linda, was very sweet and kind, but she didn't speak English, which made it difficult to explain what was missing. When I tried to get someone else's attention to help, no one really assisted. On top of that, there were unexpected charges. I had asked for a regular manicure (additional $20), but they started prepping me for a gel manicure instead. I was also told--while already seated--that it would be $10 extra to remove gel polish, which wasn't mentioned at the start. At checkout, they tried to charge me $65 ($55 pedicure + $10 gel removal) even though I didn't receive the hot stone massage. When I explained this, the clerk simply repeated the price and offered for me to get the stones after everything was finished, which made no sense. She then handed me a 10% off coupon, but by then I was frustrated. The salon itself is very clean and the staff seem nice, but be very clear about what service you're getting and the final price before they begin. Otherwise, you may end up with surprise charges or missing parts of your service.

On that call she was rude and basically said "do you go into your job when you get sick?" After I asked why my appointment was being canceled. When I called back later to schedule the repair appointment, her first response was "yea and what's the issue now?" -- already sounding annoyed before I even explained. The original tech was brand new (two weeks out of school). By the next day most of the nails were already peeling, cracking, and lifting. I had to drive 45 minutes each way a second time to get them fixed. The second tech (I don't remember her name, but she has an Afro) did a fantastic job. She was professional, communicated clearly, and corrected everything properly. If you somehow end up here, ask for her. After the fix I politely asked Kim if she could refund the $10 Groupon upcharge given the extra 90-minute round trip caused by their own work. She refused, kept pointing to the Groupon, offered no real apology, and made it clear that Groupon customers don't get the same consideration. The technical repair was excellent. Everything else -- the cancellation attitude, the phone tone, and the complete lack of ownership afterward -- was poor. I do not recommend this place, especially if you're coming in on a Groupon.

I was using a Groupon and I did not get any "attitude" like you do with some places when you say you're using a Groupon. They were extremely accommodating, and even changed the time of one of my appointments to a more convenient time when they realized it was available. When I arrived at the salon I was greeted warmly and given a comfortable place to sit while waiting for my first appointment. I was having my eyebrows waxed and a manicure and pedicure. Allison did all three services. It was the BEST eyebrow wax I have had in my life. It was practically painless and Allison checked with me throughout to make sure she was shaping them exactly how I wanted. The Groupon was for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, which made those less expensive than the regular manicure-pedicure. Allison was very helpful with picking a color (I'm indecisive). She even added a little extra sparkle for an accent nail without my asking for it. Everyone was so friendly. While I waited for a few minutes before my pedicure I was able to soak my feet and enjoy a glass of wine. (Pinot Grigio - my favorite!). The foot bath is not "jacuzzi" but frankly unless you put your foot right on the jets I never thought that mattered anyway. Care was taken to shape my toenails after my podiatrist had butchered them. After I was done I asked if I could sit and relax a while before getting in the car. I was welcomed and not rushed out. A perfect experience.
