Azia did an amazing job with my color! Exactly what I asked for! She was new to town as well. Worked out great. Also props to the receptionist. Answered on my first call, asked all the right questions to get me the right appointment needed. I called a few salons in STL and most did not answer the first or second call. The other salons never responded to online inquiries either. The place is friendly and welcoming right as you walk in. Like that. Been coming here for over a year and really enjoy the experience and services. It's not cheap and if you're looking for a $45 haircut, this isn't your place. Lily is amazing and gave me a perfect trim, finished with a blow out and even curled my hair. I left looking and feeling amazing and got so many compliments by friends and family. I have been seeing Kayla for about 2 years and have been so happy since. My hair was blonde and damaged when I was first a client and she has transformed my hair and it has never looked better. They also have an amazing selection of products (L'Oréal, IGK, kerastase, etc) and I feel like they really don't push products but give amazing recs on things you actually need. All the staff at this salon was so nice and the vibe inside felt very upscale, and maybe this is in my head but the haircut chairs were the comfiest i've experienced. I had high hopes for this salon but felt very letdown and taken advantage. I booked an appointment for balayage and haircut. When I come to the appointment, she lets me know the pricing has increased. It was my fault because I didn't ask for clarification because I didn't think it would be that big of a difference. I was very wrong!! Originally the appointment was quoted at $217, they changed the service to blonding (no more balayage on their website) which ended up being $310. Then, another $79 for a root touch up which is wild! Lastly, got tagged with $50 treatment that I never agreed to nor had been asked. What was to be around $217, ended up being over $440 for one session and the haircut was choppy. read more

I had a horrible experience at this place. It started with my appointment that was scheduled 2:40 but they had some issues with their system so they didn't start my appointment until 3:15. Then, I talk to this girl for what I want to do with my hair. She walks me over to do shampoo and conditioning. She washes my hair and then says she'll put my treatment and just walks away - no communication here on how long that treatment is, what's going to be next steps etc. She comes after 15 minutes or so and then literally has some boiling hot water coming out of that sink - to the point that I felt my scalp burning, i asked her to stop. And, I asked her if she checked before putting the hot water on me and she goes on to say that she always checks but the water spray can be finicky - which makes no sense to me. And then I ask her to pour cold water cuz I can feel the burn, then she continues to put cold water but didn't put a towel on my back so my entire shirt is completely soaked at this point. I ended up leaving the appointment cuz I didn't trust these folks with my hair or them being honest. The apology was extremely insincere and seemed like she was in a rush the whole time. I made an appointment for my hair color. I called because I was running late from work. She told me to drive to the salon in 10 mins. I drove and then almost there when she said no we wont be able to take care of you and we will charge you. We will charge yiur money and then reschedule you. They seem to care that i was late for app for 25 mins ( app at 2.15 and o talked to her at 2.35) but she didnt seem to care a wasted customer time yo drive there or neither their money. With the reputation this salon has, I expect so much more. The salon's reputation is built on social media hype and nothing more. The quality is not there. I had extensions installed at a discount 08/08/23 and have returned with issues more than 10 times. Corners lifting, bubbling, serious sliding days after a bump up. I model and have had many other stylists both in STL, Florida, Arizona and Texas tell me the install is wrong, the hair used is cheap and too heavy, I shouldn't have to return for 4-6 weeks. owners Andrea and Reese both echoed this sentiment... until there was an issue. I was in last to visit Reese for a bump up correction. This visit alone, I spent $400 for services. I only wanted a bump up, but color and other treatments were also recommended. I was there for 3.5-4 hours. Reese was working on 4 other clients at the same time as myself and only actually touched my hair 25% of the time. They stained my shirt with color and within the week, sufficient sliding. I messaged Reese respectfully with both issues and she suggested a day to come in to the salon to have things tightened. She agreed there were some issues but defended the work. She tightened the areas of concern and I left. Not even a week later the top weft is completely detaching. Again, I reached out respectfully.. her response was WILDLY unprofessional and unacceptable. There was no ownership of the issue and I was called a bully for addressing the concern.. again she is the OWNER and stylist I saw and I only stated I had an issue and that I should not have these things happen after spending 400 and return visit. She also had a strange response calling me unprofessional, which I had to explain that I am the client and where there is not a need for me to be professional, I actually showed nothing but respect. This is day 2 of expecting a call back from the front desk staff.. which is who Reese told me I need to work with on grievances.. not the owners or stylists... the front desk assistants. I had let my roots grow in on my blonde, I needed a root melt to help even out my hair, charging $560 for one session and then recommending a come back for another to get results is absurd. Especially considering I have been to other stylists in the past that have been able to achieve color in one sitting. I'm not sure how places can get away with charging this amount. read more

I waited 40 minutes and after the initial seating, I wasn't spoken to until I decided to leave. I returned 2 hours later to pick up my girlfriend who was also getting her hair done. Don't waste your time or money here. I tried this place 3 times with 2 separate stylists because it's so close to my house but will not be going back again. The first two times I went to stylist #1 - As she was working on my hair she had an additional client she would go back and forth between her and myself. You spend top dollar luxury type of money there and I can't get your attention or the short time Im there? She was always rushed and the color and cut showed it. The highlights she did was Ok but nothing to write home about. Again, I wanted to give it another chance but with someone new. I brought pictures and told her what I wanted. She was friendly and I was the only client she was working on. When we get back from the shampoo bowl, she told me she went with a completely different color toner than we had discussed during the consultation. I was confused why would she do that when we went through pictures of examples and I explained exactly what I wanted. I was upset that she completely threw everything we talked about out the window. Now after $400+ dollars - my hair is a dingy beige when I wanted a bright blonde. read more
