Stopped in yesterday. My 5 year old son needed a hair cut as did I. Very clean salon. Everyone…read morethere was very nice and interacted with my son. They had a little prize box when he was all done for him to choose from for doing such a great job. it's the little things that make all the difference. Then it was turn. One of the employees kept up conversation with my son while I was washed cut and blow dried. I got a trim of about 1.5 inches and some long layers. My hair is even and the blow out was WOW! They call it the Hollywood blow out. Go see Ashley for this... even if you don't need a haircut lol and it only took her about 15 minutes to blow it out. I have medium to long thick hair She gave so much life and body to my hair! I will definitely be back. Thank you So much! Went there again today. Instead of highlights, Ashley suggested a balayage... I'm not the most experimental person when it comes to hair lol so she showed me a few pictures and I said ok try it! Ummm absolutely stunning! See for yourself

Less than 1 STAR. This was only my second time coming here and it will be my last. Had the worst…read morehair/cut style here yesterday. I showed the girl 3-4 pictures with medium length (past shoulders) with wispy bangs and butterfly layers. I left here practically crying looking like Kevin Sorbo from Hercules. She took off 2 more inches than I asked for (and my hair was long/halfway down my back so there was enough for her to a healthy cut and match the style I asked for). She seemed very inexperienced and clearly she was, which is extra annoying since when I booked I asked for a higher level stylist. After she finished I was clearly unhappy and the other stylist came over and tried to tell me it's just the way she blow dryed it and the cut matches exactly what I asked for (even though every picture had hair past the shoulders and mine ends above mine). She then tried to "fix" the style but it looked basically the same after. At this point I just wanted to get out of here before I burst into tears. I was so flustered to get out I ended up tipping her anyway and I'm so mad at myself since there is not one thing I like about this cut. Cried the whole way home 0/10 do not recommend.

Donna, Angelina Liza and the entire team at tease are as good as it gets! Reading a comment…read moreabout Donna not working with her customers is a big shock and absolutely incorrect. Perhaps that person reviewing tease salon is outright lying or has a gripe about something...but it's impossible After living in NYC for 25 years, I tried a few salons on the North shore when I moved back to LI and I am so happy I found tease two years ago, which was recommended to me by a childhood friend. They offer a friendly, family atmosphere and are very talented !!!

I had a Keritan that did not last even two weeks. I called Donna, the Owner, to tell her that the…read moreKeratin did not take, and asked if she could redo it. Her reply was if I pay again. In this kind of Field, if a Service was not performed to its expectations, the Owner should redo the Service; not charge another fee on top of that. Do you really want to spend your money with this Salon. Yes, they are nice, "until" you are dissatisfied. What does that say about the Salon. To me, it speaks Volumes. WOW, This Salon is all about lies. They never offered to redo the Service. We are in the middle of a Dispute and they are spilling out lies so their other Customers do not know the truth. Well know this, if I lose the Dispute, the next step I will take is Small Claims Court! Now is this a Salon you really want to deal with. Al I can say, is Ladies, as long as you are happy with your Services, everything is fine. However, if something is not right, and you want it fixed, be prepared to REPAY for the entire Service, or all this fighting will take place for you as well. If I was reading this Review, I would think twice about going to this Salon. And Angelina is a Receptionist, not the business owner. I guess they will stoop to any lengths to fix their screw ups.
