After years of jumping from salon to salon never feeling comfortable or satisfied in the work I was getting. Well I have finally found my home. Every visit I am welcomed by every member of the staff and made to feel as if I am part of their family. Debbie the receptionist is one of the sweetest funniest people I have met always greeting me with a smile and a good chat while I wait. Jackie my colorist is amazing. Not only is the quality of her work better than I have ever had before in my life but when I am in her chair I feel as if I am chatting with a good friend who always has my best interest at heart with her recommendations. I also have two daughters ages 9 and 12 and I have begun to bring them to the salon as well. They LOVE it there! Dora takes such good care of them every time they come in. She makes them both look absolutely beautiful every visit and she chats with each of them and makes them feel special and unique in her chair. Tiffany and Rachel give the most amazing washes, again I can honestly say that I have never had such amazing scalp massages before I sat in their chairs for a wash. This is the theme of the experience at Jack Anthony, you are pampered and given the highest quality of service in every chair you sit in. And then there is Jack... words can't even describe how wonderful of a person he is. He genuinely cares about every single person that comes into the salon and truly wants to make the experience memorable every time for each and every person. He is the consummate professional but also makes you feel like you are his oldest dearest friend. He has the highest attention to detail I have ever seen and he manages to transform my hair into something spectacular every time I am in. Recently I turned 40 and I was thrown a 80's theme party and not only did he complete my transformation but the whole staff helped me get ready and make sure every detail of my outfit was perfect. When I arrived, I was informed that my appointment was supposedly at 10:00 AM--which is unequivocally incorrect. At no point did the salon confirm this appointment with me, nor did anyone contact me when I was marked as a 'no‑show' at 10:00. I was then told they could accommodate either a haircut or a color, but not both. As I had an event later that evening, this was not a viable option. The entire purpose of booking the appointment was to receive both services. Prior to posting this review, I attempted to resolve the issue directly with the owner. She responded by stating that 'Megan said she spoke with you on a Saturday and booked a 10:00 AM color/retouch and a 12:00 PM haircut.' This is simply false. Megan is my usual stylist, but she did not schedule this appointment. Another staff member answered the call, and I had to explain in detail what I needed so she could take notes for Megan. The owner then 'apologized that I missed my appointment,' which was both inaccurate and dismissive. I did not miss my appointment. The salon made an error and has taken no responsibility for it. To have the owner try to gaslight me into thinking this was my fault is going too far. I can't give my hard earned money to an establishment that would think it is ok to do that to anyone. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially given my previously positive visit. I thought I found salon with a stylist that finally got my hair right. Even though the stylist was great the first time, the treatment the second time and the treatment to me by the owner is unacceptable. I guess the search is back on for another salon.

Tara cuts my hair and I do not trust anyone else to come near my hair with a scissor. She always does an incredible job and recommends great products for my hair as well. All of the other hair stylists are very nice and willing to offer advice. The girls at the register are pretty snobby and uninterested and if you aren't dressed and looking nice you'll get some looks from them. I sat in his chair and ask him to please give me a full head of foils and to make sure he doesn't leave much natural in between. I also asked him to clean out my ends because it's a bit brassy (being a hairdresser myself I know exactly what I want and how to tell someone what I want). He started doing the foils, after the 3rd one I had to tell him again to make sure he stacks them and doesn't leave much natural in between. After coming back from the basin he started to cut my hair, I sat there thinking maybe after he cuts my hair he'll clean out my ends but no he didn't. He started to blow wave my hair I asked him to please put some curls/ waves in my hair. He told me it was too late. No it's not! All you had to do was use a curling tong after blow waving my hair. Or at least ask me how I want my hair styled before styling it. Customer service needs attention too. Anyway I'm not happy. I like my cut but I need to go get more highlights to achieve the look I want!
