Giving me a blow by blow (pun intended) on what and how she was doing it, so when I next needed to wash my hair, I'd know how to get the same look. I haven't been this happy with the way my hair looked when walking out of a salon since 1976! Also, this is the way you SHOULD be treated. I called before I went there to find out the pricing of a root touchup. They gave me a price which was ok. Had my hair colored by a very sweet and good colorist BUT when I went to pay the price was 20 more then I was told . I questioned this and they told me it was a charge for product meaning shampoo and conditioner. Never has this happened to me . It is deceitful and such poor business practice on that note if I was told the full price when I went there, I would've probably still gone, but I can't do business with the place that treats their clients like that. It's a shame. The owner emailed me and explained their policies. And did the right thing by refunding me the difference of what I was told and different of what was charged. read more

I first met Serena during my hair consultation. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and listened to all my concerns regarding my hair. After this, I trusted her implicitly to work her magic! I have extremely long, extremely thick and curly/wavy hair. I've always been met with difficulty or insecurity when it came to getting my hair done because I've always felt like an inconvenience. Let me tell y'all a little something about me. My eyebrows are like a prize to me. I don't trust easily because I've had a few cases of language barrier. I was then going to a good friend when she was doing my hair she'd do my brows too. Now I've been a little lax with the wax and I've heard rave reviews of Prism so I figured I'd give it a shot. So off I went yesterday to get my prize waxed and cleaned up. Let me tell y'all something Danielle Z. is awesome! She is such a sweetheart and immediately I felt comfortable with her. We were chit chatting and she kept asking if everything was okay. I told her how much my eyebrows meant to me and she could tell. She also said I had a nice shape to them so I'm glad we didn't have to do much other than a cleanup. I also asked about perming my lashes which I'm certain I'll be doing before my trip in a month. She assured me I wouldn't lose any lashes and that it'd work very well with my lashes since they're long beauties. Will I be back? Hell to the yessss!!! Went to get a complete change with my hair. Jamie was my hairdresser and she was amazing. She gave me a complete hair consult and asked me exactly what I wanted (and even asked for any photos I had) before she started doing anything. She gave me a beautiful cut, balayage and express keratin blowout. All of which came out amazing. By the way it was a very busy Saturday and she juggled me along with about four others without even flinching. The whole salon was in sync with each other and they all seemed to have a great flow. Jamie was very professional and thorough. I couldn't be happier with my new hair! The express keratin treatment is great - I've since washed my hair and my own blowout came out gorgeous, I'm definitely going back for the longer lasting keratin treatment. read more

I got a Groupon for 10 Pilates classes. Went there today. What a nice place! The instructor was very welcoming and attentive. It was a 12 PM class, so there was only me and the instructor, which worked out really nice because I have no clue what Pilates is. The class lasted exactly one hour. Yoga mats were provided. The studio room was very cozy, it created an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The instructor directed every single movement, yet I was surprised that she was not doing the whole workout herself which was not a big deal. I found Pilates quite challenging, so she made a few adjustments to adapt to my level of fitness (which sucks, to be honest!) She also color corrected my dark brown hair and revamped it to a honey golden brown almost back to my natural hair color, with no damage. Loved meeting with Alicia to discuss options for transitioning to grey hair. Yep, I'm gonna do it! She never made me feel like I was taking up her time on a free consult. She was very honest and informative and gave me a realistic plan to move forward. I can't wait to see what we can achieve with my dull boring multi colored (lots of grey roots) hair. Plus she suggested a better hair style to compliment my facial features and keep the hair out of my eyes without using my glasses as a headband. Lol! I used to have a monthly membership for massages. It was great with Linda. After she left Cindy took over. I have to be honest it was not a good massage: really boring, pressure was off and in general the same technique over and over to the point I ended it early. Needless to say I do not go anymore. They do have a good deal on their monthly membership rates though. I was also annoyed that they advised my health insurance did not cover massage when I know it does. Upon locating a new massage place, my insurance was accepted. So many months of payments leaves a bad taste when it could have been avoided. The facialist was very good. I used her once as I swapped out a massage for a facial. The front desk at times was spotty. I had appointments cancelled. Once I arrived 20 minutes early but they didn't tell the upstairs crew I was there and when they came down, they too were annoyed at not being advised I was there early. Other times the front desk crew was efficient and very pleasant. read more

I was able to schedule an appointment online which was so easy and convenient. Janine was my stylist and she was so easy to talk to and did exactly what I was going for without pushing me out of my comfort zone. She suggested a service for next time but wasn't salesman-y which some hair stylists can be. I was also given a 50% off discount for being a new customer which was a nice surprise. I found a Groupon for this salon about four months ago and have been coming even after all three of my turns were over because of the awesome service. I come once a month for a Brazilian wax with Danielle and I always leave satisfied. She's amazing and makes me feel super comfortable every time! I also love the warm and welcoming feeling in the salon as a whole. The owner has almost always been near the entrance and greets me and every other customer that walks in. The receptionist is also very sweet. I usually call to make my appointments but you can just as easily make the appointments online. The salon itself is always clean but so is the waxing room! She uses a hard wax and new sticks after every dip. I highly recommend Danielle the esthetician, and will likely begin coming here for haircuts and other services as well. :) read more

This is without a doubt my favorite place to get massaged. Although this review is only based on the spa portion every time I go the hair salon is packed with smiling faces. I got a Groupon here for a 90 minute massage and got linda as a masseuse. I was skeptical at first because of the noise of the blow dryers but as you walk upstairs and go into the massage room it is quiet and you hear peaceful music. I have gone here at least 7 times and my massages have been relaxing and healing. Linda uses essential oils too and that adds to the experience. Being pregnant I have had some pain and every time I go, she is attentive and I leave pain free. I highly highly recommend this great place!! read more

I was impressed with Kaitlin and made an appointment for my first visit for a haircut and single process color for about 6 weeks from now.
