I've been going to Tiffany's since she was at her old location in McCully Shopping Center. She's been cutting hair for my mom, sister, and I for over 15 years. Although it's been awhile since I've last gone, one thing that stands out was their prices, and how efficient they are. Each stylist has an assistant that helps to wash and blow dry your hair. I've been to Salon Tiffany multiple times in the past with same haircut and partial highlight a few times. As many other customers stated, any hair cut takes only 10 minutes even long layer and shaggy on the sides. I've been to so many other hair salons and had never had any professional stylish haircut could be done in 10 minutes. This time partial highlight got so wrong! While Tiffany (she is the only person who does haircut or any colors in the salon) was putting the highlight, the other lady was helping her. The other lady was talking talking and talking non stop while she was washing my hair, helping Tiffany for highlight or while she was drying my hair. After she put the highlight, she put me under the heat. Soon after about 5-6 minutes, my scalp started burning and I had to step out of it. It was burning for a few minutes and no one checked it. After my hair got washed, dried, haircut, it was ok (because she styled and made my hair lightly curled at the tip). Then after my first hair wash next day, I couldn't even put my fingers through my hair. I have shinny, healthy, silky extremely straight hair and no way my hair can be curled but it was super wavy and it didn't even look like my real hair. After a few days, I contacted Tiffany and told her she might have had some chemical or solution on the comb that she was using and accidentally made my hair super wavy. She checked my hair, but she said it's my body or hormonal changes did that to my hair which I don't believe that. My other hair stylist who was doing my hair for ages checked my hair after I used some high quality conditioner, but he said Tiffany did something wrong and messed up my hair texture and no way he could even fix it since she probably used some poor quality chemical with possibly mixed with highlight solution so I basically have to wait until I'm ready to cut my hair short or chop it little by little (my hair id very long so it will take very long time to get my original straight healthy shinny hair). It has been 2,5 months now and it's still horrible. I still can't comb my hair smoothly like before and it doesn't matter what kind of great hair product I use, it's horrible, fuzzy, dry and still wavy which I am so no happy with it. If you want to have a nice hair cut, don't go to her. She only wants to save time and do extremely quick poor haircut without even showing you how it is at the end and some hair color or highlight could be damage your hair and make your hair condition horrible for the one time trip! read more

I highly recommend to have the hair coating treatment! Make your hair soft and no more frizzy.

Professional, incredibly efficient, and just amazing! Coming from someone whose hair is anything but agreeable, this salon (located in the heart of Kaka'ako) is a gem! I usually get the magic straightening which, from past experience with numerous salons & stylists, is not easy to master. Tiffany and her crew really work their magic, delivering exactly what I expect, and even catering to on-the-spot requests. They understand that a client's time is precious, so if you're looking for quality, convenience, and value, check them out! You won't be disappointed. read more

After finding Salon Tiffany in a Google search and reading a review that someone's parents have been patronizing this salon for years, I made an appointment for my 90 year old Mom to get a perm. Too many years have passed to recall when she last had one, and her hair has become flat and body-less. What an incredible find! Conveniently located, and altho we got a little lost with the parking situation, someone graciously came out of the salon to direct us. The friendly, helpful and highly professional service continued as we stepped into the salon. Tiffany, Jessie (sp?), Zitta are an amazing team, working together to transform my Mom's tired and flat hair in two hours to a beautiful head full of waves. To help convey what we hoped for, we did share some photos of Mom's prior perms for reference. Very pleased with the care of the staff with Mom, and the results are wonderful. We are so happy to have found Salon Tiffany! read more

Tiffany and her staff are great! Efficient and friendly. They took great care of my dry hair. Love my new look!

I've been going to salon tiffany since she was at the mccully shopping center and I did all my cuts and straight perms with her. I trust her and she knows about all the trends and listens to what you want. Now she's at kakaako on the outside of the salt building? Next to the barn but on the side facing across the apartment.or condo. It's smaller and has three hair stations and I think either two or three hair washing sinks. They were very efficient and all the workers work together and Tiffany does still cut and everything else. I recently did a straight perm and it's prob still the best price at $260 and includes a cut. Took about three and a half hours? My hair length is shoulder length. Also you can park in the salt parking lot and she will validate. Yay! read more

I'm in love with my haircut! I came into the salon with not a lot of ideas on what to do with my hair (other than the length and wanting bangs), but Tiffany was really helpful by including her insight! I was also a bit scared with getting bangs, but Tiffany did a great job of starting long and slowly cutting more if I was comfortable with it. If you want a quick haircut, this is the place to go! Mines was completed within 30min, but I never felt rushed at all! The haircut was of high quality and there weren't any loose strands when I got home. I will definitely be coming back for my next haircut. read more

I'm pleased with the products they used and the haircut is a pleasant experience. Much thankx!

So I must be kind of old, but Salon Tiffany did my and my friend's prom hair(!) haha... back when they were at McCully Shopping Center! Recently, a friend asked me to meet her after her haircut and color--at SALT. She looked great and loved her hair. I was pleasantly surprised it was the same place and chatted with Tiffany! Guess I have been back a few times since that prom style and moving home! Cuts are well-prices, good quality, and generally quick, and the salon is always clean and professional. They do treatments and men's hair too. Park in the SALT lot --first hour is free. Enter on Keawe Street to access multi-level parking structure There's also street parking with a short walk. The salon is on the Keawe Street side, makai of the parking lot entrance. --Happy Customer :) read more

Tiffany is not only a very skilled colorist and stylist... but passionate about the work she and her team do. I was referred to Tiffany by one of her clients I met during my lunch break... never met her before, but couldn't help but notice her HAIR-- it was exactly the color and shade I was looking for to mask my incoming grays. She was kind enough to share who does her color, so I called Tiffany to schedule a consultation appointment. In less than 15 mintues, we agreed that highlights and toner would blend in my grays nicely, so I made an appointment to come back. It was my first time getting highlights in over 18 years, but during my stay I observed how efficient and proficient Tiffany and her team are, and knew I came to ther right place. They worked seamlessly between clients, not missing a beat-- no time wasted, especially YOURS. It became obvious how much thought and care go into each client--male, female, young, elderly. I watched intently, and was amazed by their thoughtful execution to give me (and every other customer there) exactly what we wanted--the "look" that makes us feel like a million bucks! Every client wanted something different, but in the end everyone's smiles (including Tiffany's and her team's) were a testimony that the time and effort spent at Salon Tiffany was not only worth it-- it was priceless! I'm very, very happy with my new color and cut :-D. Mahalo nui loa to Tiffany and her team! P.S. Icing on the cake: My whole three-hour stay was fully validated by Salon Tiffany. read more

Salon Tiffany - Highlights and toner applied (to my 30% gray/black hair). - Hair Salons Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

This was my first time going to Salon Tiffany. I give it a 4 star because of the staff and how clean the shop is. They also took me on short notice too, when I called they gave me an appointment time on the same day. I went in for a haircut, my hair was long and it was just time. I arrived and they took my temperature at the door before entering the shop which was great. All staff and customers wore their masks the entire time. As for the haircut, I want to give it 2 stars. When you get a haircut they wash your hair, and two staff members blow-dried my hair. When it was time to cut my hair I told her I wanted a Long blunt textured haircut. She told me where I wanted the length and I showed her to my chest (just above the boob) I still wanted length that's why. She ended up cutting all the way to my shoulders. Like really short. It wasn't a bad haircut but it wasn't the length I wanted. I could have had a bad experience but I didn't. I just received a shorter haircut than expected. I ended up paying a tab of $62 because I was scared of telling them my haircut was too short. (like I said it wasn't a bad haircut, it could've been worse) I recommend when you go, just make sure you are paying attention to the length you want. As for the parking, there is paid building parking. I believe they validate for the first hour. I can't say for sure because I got dropped off. But the receptionist asked if I needed validation. The location is nice and when I was sitting waiting for my haircut they had a window to look out of. The shop's decoration and layout was simple and nice. read more

Now that I live in Arizona for the past 3 Years. It is so hard to find an amazing hair stylist that Youve been going to for so long (20 +) Years. Ive been to a few here in Phoenix but, Its a meeehhh! Lol...A few already messed up on my coloring of hair that I dont trust anyone already with my hair color. Plus, I dont get how nowadays they write your estimated down on a piece of paper and tell you how much they will charge for each section they are doing. To me, if your hairstylist you should know just by looking what needs to be done and go from there or it could be im just been blessed and spoiled to have Tiffany all of my life! Lol So now I just wait until I go home to visit my kids/moopunas in Honolulu and make an appointment with Tiffany at her New salon in Kakaako. Upon entering I am leaping for joy seeing her and the her assistances. She brings my hair to life, the way she cuts my hair in layers to alleviate the Hawaiian thick hair that I have, it feels like 10 x times lighter, she does it so swiftly and so naturally as I watch her hands with the scissors shearing my dried dead-end hair away and boy did I have 3 Years worth of it. I tell her please cover my whites that are popping up and the hair color that was done by another stylist that I disliked but, she says "Why, Its not that bad!" Lol... Pretty please! Her style and technique is like magic! I felt soo young, vibrant, and soo Happy for her to touch my hair in making it the way that I love it! Tiffany is a gift to Honolulu and now I have to fly to her from Arizona for my hair, I will see you in a few months... Hahaha! Not joking...even my husband agrees! read more

Always a great cut and color. Tiffany has a great team, I definitely recommend Tiffany's salon.

I'd give zero if that ws possible. This place was bizzare and not friendly. The girl washing your hair doesn't put a smock on you so she's splashing water on you while it feels like she's going to pull your head off. I showed Tiffany a picture of what I wanted and told her three things I wanted. She ignored everthing I said and did what she wanted while giving me a rude attitude. Then two of them dry your hair really rough at the same time and you feel like you're going through a car wash. I won't go back. Prices are reasonable, but that's no good when you're not getting the cut you want. When I got home I noticed she chopped off a chunk of my hair and I have this weird piece stick out now when I wear a pony tail. This will take a super long time to grow out to my regular length which is about a foot and a half. read more

Tiffany is an amazing stylist. She is a total boss and runs this shop as the main character with several capable assistants. When you're good, you know you're good. That's Tiffany. If you are the kind of person that likes to get a good hair cut/color/texture process without any BS, this place is for you. Friendly? Yes. Talk your head off with needless small talk? No. Some of the reviews here are disappointing when they mention "I was worried because I don't speak Korean". Um. Everyone at Salon Tiffany speaks English perfectly well, thank you very much. They are busy because they are rad, so please make an appointment, but trust and believe if you show Tiffany a photo of what you want she will get to work. No whining or arguing involved. To illustrate this point I asked her to bleach my hair to platinum and she did it without telling me repeatedly that it would dry my hair out, blah blah blah. She did it and it turned out great. Was it dry because that's what bleach does? Yes. Is that what I wanted? Yes. Thank you Tiffany and team for being total BOSSES and getting the job done at a totally reasonable price to boot. Amazing. You are a true Honolulu Gem and me and all of my busy boss friends love you forever! read more

Tiffany has been cutting my parent's hair since they first immigrated to Hawaii almost 30 years ago. I've been seeing her for as long as I can remember. She is a professional. Great Korean salon! The owner, Tiffany was amazing, she's very hardworking and does a lot for her customers. I wanted my hair layered and she did an amazing job. The whole haircut & shampoo took about thirty minutes. However, I had to wait because she squeezed me into her schedule since I made a last minute appointment. She apologized for the wait and was very friendly. Also, the prices are very reasonable, my haircut with shampoo & blowout was only $40 + tip ~ ! I will definitely come back for her other services and when I need a haircut again. Salon Tiffany validates! Salon Tiffany - Haircut + blowout from Tiffany ^^ ! - Hair Salons Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I had an appt for 1:40pm on a Saturday. I hadn't had a cut in a while, so my hair was long and the ends were pretty damaged. I was running late so I called and they were happy to take me later but asked if I could wait a little. Not a problem at all! I arrived, waited a grand total of 5 minutes or so, and then was whisked away to get my hair washed. One woman washed my hair and prepped my hair for cutting, then a woman with silvery blue hair (I'm assuming that's Tiffany) came and asked what I'd like. I showed her a couple pictures of bangs and long layers but she encouraged me to go shorter since my hair is so fine and thin. We didn't talk story much, but she did that with my hair, keeping it long doesn't do anything for me because it just lays there and the weight pulls at my scalp. I told her I trust her so she can take more off, and so she just started trimming away. After about 7 minutes, she and another woman both started drying together, then Tiffany used a flat iron to style it. She trimmed a little more, and I was done. My hair looks SO HEALTHY and soft! I like the cut a lot and even the woman in the chair next to me complimented it! Usually the places I go put a lot of product in afterward to keep the style, but the cut speaks for itself here, and my hair doesn't feel crunchy or heavy with product. I'm super impressed. Altogether it was probably about half an hour or so! And $40! I'll definitely be coming back. Park in the SALT lot, first hour is free, and the salon is on the Ewa side of Salt facing the Dry Bar. The salon is clean, stylish, and most of the women in the salon (guests included) were Korean so they know Asian hair. So easy and quick! Thank you Tiffany! read more

Little late review . . . My daughter's graduation from UH Manoa was approaching and her photo session was coming up. The hair appointment that I had scheduled someplace else (three days before her photo shoot) was cancelled that morning as I was driving there. I was a wreck! Through my tears, I called Salon Tiffany after seeing so many great reviews on Yelp. She happily took us within 30 minutes. We arrived a few minutes late as I got lost, but they were welcoming and immediately greeted us. I thought my daughter's hair needed straightening and cut; daughter wanted highlights. Tiffany looked at her hair and said, "I think we should straighten this time, then highlight the next time." :) She was done in no time and when I went to pick her up, her hair was PERFECT! Haircut was perfect; and, the straightening remains perfect two months later. WE LOVE IT! We'll be seeing her soon for the highlights. THANK YOU!! read more

After hearing a multitude of good things about this salon from my friends and finding out that the haircut was only $40 (compared to the $60 I used to pay at my old salon), I ditched my old salon and put my faith into this one. Thankfully, I did. The day I got my haircut was a day of spontaneity. According to their brief description on the McCully shopping center website, they do accommodate walk-ins. But to guarantee myself a spot, I decided to call. Sure enough, they had an opening for me at 1 pm! The salon gets busy around this time and each stylist can be working on more than one person at once, especially if you're getting some kind of hair treatment or coloring that may take a while. Nonetheless, I arrived early to my appointment (around 12:45) and they took me right away. The entire traditional haircut process with shampoo/conditioner/blow drying will take at max, 30 minutes. My hair went up to my waist prior to my haircut but they still finished within that time! The most notable thing about my experience was how polite and respectful the woman cutting my hair was. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like. At first, she cut it considerably longer than what was in the picture just to make sure that she didn't cut it too short the first time. I greatly appreciated that she took into consideration that I might have been shocked by the sudden change to short hair after I explained to her that I've had long hair for years. After I gave her the okay to cut more, she went ahead and did it. I love the final product! My first experience at Salon Tiffany's was quick and pleasant. From how easy it was to book an appointment to the polite service, I'm definitely coming back the minute I think I'm going to need a trim. read more

The salon is located next to the new SALT complex. My appointment was on a Saturday 11:30a. I had a cut, perm, bleach done. Total came out to ~$250. All of that took around 5 hours. I was starving by the time I was done. This salon interior is cute but quite small, and there aren't many seats. The staff are Korean but Tiffany speaks superb English as well as the staff. They are hardworking and very great at their job. I had asked for a regular perm, color, and a trim. Tiffany suggested I cut shoulder length so I went with it since my long hair was damaged on the ends anyway. I had also asked for ash brown hair like a greyish bright brown color. Then she proceeded to work on my hair. Lots of down time waiting as there were many customers this day. They did the perm first and then bleach. Haven't bleached my hair ever! So I was nervous. For those people who haven't done bleach, fyi that stuff burns! Then they had to wash my hair off like 5 times to get the stuff out seriously. The only thing I would have to say is that I was slightly disappointed in was the color. Wasn't exactly the grey brown color I wanted but more of like a honey brown with blue tints. It still looked great, but Its a very bold color. Looked completely different! So if you are thinking about bleaching your hair you might want to go to another salon for that. Otherwise the cut and perm were great. Price was decent as well. I would recommend! read more

So I made a appointment for hair perm for long hair. They said they will take 3 hours or less I had to wait for 4 hours and just for the perm. All the stylist was doing my hair and everything. I swear they were so aggressive with my hair they kept on pulling my hair and pulling my ear rings which hurt a lot when you have a lot of them. I spent $250 for a perm that wasn't even good or straighten. After not washing my hair for 24 hours I finally washed my hair last night and when I woke up this morning my hair was still wavy as heck! And my hair was so rough than before! Like they did a terrible job doing my hair! I would never recommend this hair salon! Korean people don't know what there doing!!!! I have never had a hair cut that only lasted 10 mins. It was maybe 30 mins with the wash and blow dry. I went in wanting her to cut about 2" off my long straight hair and layer it a bit. Literally my hair was wet as ever and she grabbed a handful and teased it with one swoosh using those comb-like scissors. The whole back of my head was "textured"/layered like that with 4-5 swooshes and that was it. The front was two fast cuts to each side. The whole "haircut" took her maybe less than 15 cuts max. I was cringing the whole time I saw her w the swoosh to my hair. The result? The choppiest hair cut EVER. I look like some homeless person with a super uneven rugged cut! before picture is to the left, after to the right. The one on the left was layered by a super detailed stylist for an hour of cutting where he'd layer and manicure it strand by strand. The right is the result of tiffany's 10 mins of random disorderly swooshing...look at the jagged edges! the cost is the same mind you. Except one was in New York and one in Hawaii. Can't believe the standard is so horrible here in hawaii. just look at the back?!?!!! read more

Woke up Saturday morning and I decided that I should get a haircut. So I put on make up and drove down to Salon Tiffany. I was bit worried. On a Saturday, the salon would be busy and I'd have to wait a very long time, possibly. When I arrived, I checked in and told the staff that I didn't have an appointment. She took me to the back and washed my hair. I got an inch and half cut off and layered. I also went bold and cut bangs. Ahhhhh..... We'll see how well this style hold up. I've been going to Salon Tiffany for the past 8-9 years, and I usually see Tiffany, the salon owner, for a haircut. The salon is located in Kakaako, in the new SALT complex. It's on the first floor, facing Keawe Street. There is a lot of parking in the complex, as well as metered street parking. But you might as well park in the complex - the first hour is free! And if you're only going for a haircut, you'll definitely finish under an hour. They also validate, in case you decide to stay for lunch after your fabulous new 'do. The salon is small, about 3 salon chairs. Think: a small studio in Downtown Honolulu. But that definitely doesn't detract from the spectacular service. And the interior is VERY cute. Anyway, enough about the way the salon looks. Let's talk about the service and the prices! They are very reasonable and they do such a great job. What I like best: they are FAST. No frills. So if you're looking to get pampered, you've come to the wrong place. Another great thing about this place: they work as a team. Of course your stylist will cut/color your hair, but the rest of the team will help to blow-dry, wash, remove foil, etc. That's what makes this place run so smoothly. I've been happy with my haircut each time I've been here. If you're in the market for a new hair stylist, you should definitely give them a shot. I highly recommend Tiffany. Bring in a picture of what you want, and she'll work with it and also what would work for YOU. Pro tip: when you call to make your appointment (highly recommended!), they may answer the phone in Korean. Don't let that deter you! If you don't speak Korean (like me), just start talking :) Enjoy! read more

She's not super chatty, which I really liked bc I feel some stylists get distracted when having a convo while working on you. She seemed focused and although she had an appointment after me I didn't feel rushed at all.. huge plus.
