I recommend this establishment because of their professionalism and meticulous work. I came in and showed Mr. Tai what I wanted and the results didn't disappoint. It's a warm and friendly environment. It's clean and well-kept. Thank you!!

I'm glad I found this Asian salon in Westchester, I used to drive to China town for good hair work. I had balayage done by Tai and Vicky, they were both very attentive and careful. The lady washing the hair is very sweet too. Here is a pic of their work. It implied bleaching and dye, total 5 hours of work. I also like that the salon is well ventilated.

I can to Salon Tai two or three months ago and am about to head back to get a hair-cut refresh! There are several things I enjoyed about my experience at Salon Tai: 1) Tai is super nice and amiable in addition to knowing what he's doing. I had a great and relaxing time as well as getting a good haircut! What a professional and nice guy! 2) My haircut turned out great BUT it also grew out well! That's great for me because I tend to wait too long to get my maintenance haircuts. (The burden of short hair) 3) You get comfy and cute spa robes during your stay--which really minimizes the hair that gets on your clothes. Also, you feel luxurious. Hahaha 4) Finally, an added perk separate from an awesome haircut and awesome service: they know Asian hair. I had come in with some ideas for pixie cuts and Tai very kindly guided me in a different direction and reminded me that with my thick Asian hair, the styles I was hoping for would not turn out anything quite like the Pinterest photos. (Aka my hair wouldn't be the type to lay down nicely and instead would stick out straight! And he is very much right!) So I def recommend Salon Tai for haircuts. :D

Only dry cut male $38 plus tips. It was too expensive. I will not go back again. Last one nearby hair cut was $18

I'm very interested in finding an Asian salon that has treated and understands this rare type of hair I would like to get treated.…

Tai is a master and can handle all types . He’s helped me tremendously with my frizz.

    Do you welcome walk-ins?

Yes. They would happily accept walk-ins.

They are adhering to all the COVID-19 safety protocols and the place is very, very clean. The lash treatment I received was done by a trained professional in a timely manner. I love the results of my natural lash application. The rates are fairly priced and competitive with other lash salons. I would definitely recommend this lash lounge, and I would surely come back here.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Buyer beware of the owner of this establishment. She was,…read moreunfortunately, one of the most unprofessional individuals I have encountered in a business setting--rude, erratic, and unnecessarily focused on my personal life. While I initially intended to write this review solely regarding the service not functioning as expected, the far more concerning issue has been the manner in which the owner communicates with clients. To be succinct, I went in for a brow lamination that did not hold or work at all (photos for reference). When I reached out to address the issue, a front desk employee called me and explained she was texting with the manager and she told me that they would offer only a redo, not a refund. This concerned me because during my appointment, my technician had made it clear that it would be unsafe to perform another lash lamination any sooner than six weeks. To be sure, I consulted two other lamination providers in Westchester, who also expressed concern and stated that redoing a lamination later could potentially cause breakage or other damage. I for obvious reasons, do not feel comfortable returning to the establishment for a redo given their history. When the owner called me, I explained that since I did not receive the service outcome I paid for, I would be filing a chargeback with my credit card company and submitting a complaint to the BBB, both standard consumer rights when a service does not work as expected. When she scoffed at me, I explained I had a background in law and do know my rights. I communicated this calmly, without raising my voice, insulting her, or making personal remarks. My decision was made, I was certainly not looking for a refund anymore. The owner interpreted this as me "threatening" her, and the conversation took an unexpected turn. She began asking about my personal life, including where I went to college and whether I work from home, questions that felt irrelevant to the service issue. She made comments about my school being "a party school" and suggested she hoped my company was "okay with me taking time off to speak with her and not digging into my per diem," even though the call lasted only about eight minutes. We went from speaking about a service issue to digging into my personal life and finding areas to insult. She told me my tone "was disgusting", that I am petty, and trying to "pull every trick". These remarks felt inappropriate and, in my opinion, crossed into personal territory that had nothing to do with the service at hand. I was surprised by this, as I did not insult her personally, nor did I comment on her personal life (or ask where she was educated?). I was firm because I was upset that the service I paid for did not work, but I remained respectful. The call ultimately ended with her telling me to "do whatever the hell you want" and hanging up on me. As a business partner myself, I found this interaction extremely unprofessional. Disagreements happen, but how they are handled matters. I would never raise my voice at a customer, make personal remarks about their background or employment, question them on their education, or become emotional during a discussion about a service issue. That is simply not how professional disputes should be handled. I understand the owner may choose to respond to this review + will likely try to defame my character and make further personal attacks. I am prepared for those. My intention is not to escalate or inflame anything but to provide a factual, detailed account of what occurred. Consumers should be aware of my experience, particularly regarding how service concerns and refund inquiries may be handled by the owner. You may be verbally accosted. She even cited my texts to their messaging service as rude. I will copy below for context. "The brow lamination unfortunately did not work at all and was expensive. I'm calling to try to get a resolution. This is now the second time I've come in for a treatment that's been unsatisfactory, so I would love to find a way to amicably resolve it in a way that doesn't hurt either party. It is within your standard business hours, so it would be great to get a call back on this."
