The room was comfortable and private. Even in the dead of winter is was nice and toasty up there.. warm enuf to keep me warm while nude. The esthetician asked if I ever had a braz before (I had) and what areas I wanted done. For the sake of this review, I'll not get into details, but I told/showed her exactly where I wanted the hair removed and she affirmed that she knew what I required. She started out well, doing exactly what I told her but somewhere in the middle of the job she decided that I need more removed. She glopped a huge bit of wax, and in the end she removed about an inch past where we agreed I would not be done. When the waxing was finished she left me to my own devices to remove the left over wax bits that were left on my body... this was something I've never had to do for any other waxing I've had. Overall the facilities were great but the waxing was poor. Maybe she just wasn't used to a male client. Maybe she was having an off day, I don't know, but I'll not go back for another.

I've had the same hairdresser - the wonderful Kim - sat in the same chair, and had a lot of the same laugh out loud conversations. Even with me moving down to London 2 years ago, I have always come back home,to Royton, to have my hair cut and have a good old catch up with the girls at Scruples One. I trust Kim completely with my hair, she always does a fantastic job and I can even trust her when it comes to chopping in my extensions which for me is a biggy! I literally have have nothing negative say about Scruples and will probably be getting my hair cut here forever more. To note: - Amanda is also an amazing hairdresser and owns the shop! She always has a smile on her face! - Emma is a LOL a minute and will make your hair look insane with her styling techniques!

BIO SCULPTURE NAILS. This is one of a few shops in the North West that offer this service. So the stylist cut a few layers in and then asked if I was happy with the cut, I reiterated that I really did want the sheer volume reducing, as I'd stated at the beginning of the appointment. She point blank refused to thin out my hair, claiming that volume can only be taken off the ends. I've never been told by a hairdresser that using thinning scissors, or razors is not a possibility - in fact it's what they've always used. So, I'm stuck with a mushroom top, with thinned out sides. Maybe I was unlucky, I wasn't prepared to argue about the complete rubbish I was being told - I just won't be returning.

I have naturally curly, European hair that seems to faze a lot of stylists and have had my share of dreadful hair cuts in my time, but I was completely over the moon with my cut at Bliss. Jo really listened to me and she did a fab job on my difficult hair, I will definitely be going back. She is really friendly too and there's a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

My hair was very pleased and I've been somewhat of a regular since. Once there was too many students and I ended up getting my haircut by a teacher, so essentially got a hundred pound haircut. My friend went in for a hair cut here and came out looking so great! It looked worth 50-60 pounds and she merely paid a £15! Toni and Guy Academy is as great as any other and the staff is very friendly. You just have to sign a contract stating that a trainee will be doing your hair and then it's all a joy ride! So if you would like to get your hair done for a small spend, go for the Academies!

I had toner put on my hair and had it cut. I was terrified of it being too short and that I would loose all of my hair however he managed to make it look amazing and enabled me to keep some length. He was so nice, and made my experience warm and welcoming. I feel like he truly understood and listened to what I wanted to be done. I will be returning and cannot wait for my next visit.
