They also do a really good job, I never get ingrowns or irritation after waxes from here, they use good wax and all the staff are well trained. I've visited a few different salons in the Withington area and this place is the best, its just a bonus that its also very cheap! Can highly recommend!

It happened last time but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went again but it happened again this time. When I pointed it out just wanting an apology (not money off) she refused to admit it was and said it was a 'pimple' I showed her blood on my finger and she just stamped my loyalty card and said a free one next time. Thanks. I guess I will get my freebie and not go back if it happens again. They were so good before I want to give them one more chance but I heal so badly don't want to get too many scars - lol. Had Shellac done on my nails here Saturday and think I will be making this place a regular!…read more Had a slight wait for my appointment- meant to be 9.30 but got in at 9.45 due to staff being late but was offered a lovely cuppa while i waited for them to set up. I was nervous at getting shellac on as I've had it done previously at another salon and it wasn't a great experience (my first ever Yelp i think!!) but they had a great selection of colours to choose. The beautician was pleasant and I'm really happy with the job done. They had loads of special offers showing in the window for the other services they offer and the price list was quite competative (shellac feet half price when hands are done) and I'm definitely going to try other treatments here. The salon itself was very bright, airy and clean and the staff quite professional.

Threading: definitely the easiest way to deal with unruly brows…read more Tried this brow bar twice and both times the experience was quick, though not painless. Threading pulls hairs out from the roots and feels more sharp than plucking but not as bad as a trip to the dentist. The skin looks a little red for a couple of hours and advised not to wear makeup for 3 hours; so best done the day before an event. It took around 5 minutes, my brows are arched nicely, much better than I could achieve myself (and I don't look too startled , which can be a risk). Conveniently situated near the lower entrance to M&S. Lips, chins, etc can also be threaded here. The price for brows at £7 is the cheapest I have seen anywhere. Appointments not required

The primary reason for my discomfort was the rude behaviour of the salon owner. When I arrived, I was told that I was early in a very negative tone and I was asked not to wait in the reception area in a manner that was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. I feel compelled to share this experience to caution others, and it's certainly disappointing that the pattern of rude behaviour by the salon owner appears to be a concern among other customers.
