The salon is lovely with a separate room for hair washing to save your modesty when you are hanging upside down with soaking wet hair. They make the best coffees and offer refills whenever you need them. Friendly but not too talkative and recommended products but didn't give me the hard sell. I always have the owner, paolo,cut my hair, and I can honestly say he is the best and most consistant hairdresser I have ever been to(including the so called'top salons' in manchester city centre) When I first went to him my hair was in a bit of a mess from a dodgy cut from toni&guy and he really listed to what I wanted,and gave me advise on what he thought would be best for me. The prices and are good at 35.00 for a cut and blow dry with the owner, so I assume its a bit cheaper with one of the girls who work there. People are so quick to complain but not quick enough to compliment. Service is really good, all the staff are so lovely and I feel totally comfortable there since the first visit. Everyone gets involved and is really genuine. Jess colours my hair and is lovely. She does an amazing job and suggests new things to me all the time and she is always right. I have been to a few different cutters there and they have all been really good. I must have been over 30 times and never ever been disappointed. Such a lovely place. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else! Thought you should all know what a great job these guys do.

Bliss had loads of five star reviews from other happy clients and that in itself is pretty impressive! I have naturally curly, European hair that seems to faze a lot of stylists and have had my share of dreadful hair cuts in my time, but I was completely over the moon with my cut at Bliss. Jo really listened to me and she did a fab job on my difficult hair, I will definitely be going back. She is really friendly too and there's a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

The fact that the place has always seemed busy everytime I pass it gave me confidence that the place was probably half decent, and given that this small independent salon boasts 6 seats and each seems perpetually full, this seemed a good sign. I wasn't disappointed. An impromptu call in saw them willing to accommodate me within an hour (which was fine) and a wet cut with one of the two guys who own and operate the place cost me £25 which felt like a pretty good deal given the excellent service that I received, the tasty cappucino that I enjoyed whilst being seen, and the quality of cut I received. The place is also affiliated with 'Beauty in Elyssium', an in-house beauty salon run within the same building, and I look forward to trying them out at some point. All in all, highly recommended, and well worth a visit.
