This business deserves more than 5 stars! I have been in Dallas for 2 years and I have yet to find an actual natural hairstylist. I had 2 of the worst experiences before I met Shay. She came highly recommended by one of my friends. Her work was phenomenal, and long lasting. My hair is very thick. I have been natural since 2012, but I prefer to wear blowout styles due to my busy schedule. Shay and her hair tech worked together professionally. He shampooed, conditioned and treated my hair. She trimmed my ends and gave me a blow out. The environment in the shop was positive and upbeat. After she was done, she gave recommendations on how to treat my hair in between shop visits. I had the BEST experience with Shay! I moved from St. Louis to Dallas 3yrs ago and had been on the hunt for a natural stylist to take care of my hair and I've finally found her! I went in for a silk press and she was super knowledgeable about what specifically was going on with my hair and what I can do outside of the salon to continue growth and overall healthiness of my hair. I booked Shay after and a long night with a bottle of wine and some scissors. So you can imagine my panic, when I booked and appointment Tuesday morning. After booking online, I received a call and was able to explain my predicament and Shay was able to not only figure out what I needed but also confirm an appointment as early as Saturday morning.
