I was able to get an appointment with Honour recently and she took the time to walk me through everything, especially aftercare. She also helped me pick out my first wellness shot (membership perks, check them out!) and add Plated Exosomes to my treatment (so very, very worth it... just wow). Skin by Lovely has been my go-to for all skin care and products for over ten years now. Getting the level of care provided by Honour -- and the whole team -- is simply amazing.

I have only had Dysport, nothing else and recently went to an equally if not a better location for similar injectables at the Vancouver waterfront and it was a fraction of the price. You can also find Groupons (then cross check their Yelp reviews) for a fraction of that. I usually prefer to do lasers etc when I travel because it is MUCH LESS than of the price for the same treatments in the states, but I usually get Botox at home. Overall the vibes are weird, cons of treatments (other than dangerous) aren't really shared, or alternative options for the look you want are not shared (if not sold here) similar to other reviews. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. Especially in the cheeks. I already have full lips so I don't need that. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.

I waited too long to do this review but it all keeps coming back to my mind and I feel it's the…read moreright thing to do. In October of 2023 I went in for a routine mammo and my primary doctor found that I had chronic bilateral silicone implant rupture with silicone in my lymph nodes. I had been experiencing chronic fatigue, hair loss and joint pain. In other words, Breast Implant Illness. I was told by my primary that I should try to get them removed promptly. So I started looking for a surgeon. I instantly wanted to go back to doctor Mia Skourtis who had put my implants in 10 years prior because I loved her and she did a great job on my surgery. However, she was not available for several more months. I started searching for the next best thing and came across Dr. John S. Lee in Portland Oregon. His website and reviews seemed great over all and the consultation went good with friendly staff. I thought I had made a great decision. His office told me that they did not take insurance but that if I payed upfront they would help me by giving me a discount and the insurance codes to file my claim myself. So I went for it and had surgery in November of 2023. A few days after surgery I came back to the office to take off the bandages for the first time. I sobbed. Dr Lee was not even there and it was just me, my husband and a nurse. I had implant removal with a lift and did not want implants back in but was looking for just more of a healthy and a natural look. Dr. Lee removed the implants, capsulectomy and did a lift but he left my right breast nonexistent. Both breasts are super small because I was small before and then you add a lift and you will lose a half cup size or so. But the right side is completely flat. So as I said, I sobbed that day and the nurse told me to give it time and they will "fluff". It has been two years at least the one has never fluffed. After that visit I walked out feeling sad but hopeful. In the meantime I continued on trying to file the insurance claim. This is where everything else fell apart. It took me almost 7 months to finally get a resolve. After trying to file the claim dozens of times all while trying to heal emotionally and physically, nothing was working for me to get my money back through insurance and his office became so rude to me. I made dozens of phone calls, countless hours on hold with insurance and one day I was told that he was actually "in my network" and that he should have never taken my money but that by law he was supposed to follow his binding contract and work through insurance. At that point I felt so taken advantage of and neglected as a patient. His receptionist Gina was so rude to me. I have all of the emails, results, screenshots from my medical claims, etc. After almost 7 months the final day came that I threatened their office with a lawyer because I was tired and upset. She finally reimbursed me the money owed back to me that they should not have taken. Since then I can see they went through my insurance as they should have done and got their money through the binding contract they had. Besides all of this I have ongoing pain in my right breast and have had to see so many doctors, trying to get resolve on my pain. Dr. Lee has never personally reached out to me and the lack of patient care on his part has left me with no help from the doctor that operated on my body. I would not recommend. My advice, do your own research and talk with insurance. If a doctor is in your network they have a legal binding contract wit the insurance company. It doesn't mean they have to operate on you but if they do then they have to bill insurance. Also, talk very clearly about expected results and what they can do if it is not ok.

Inquired about 6RRcolors and discussed the one working for me now, which is just a highlighter filler. BUT it works on white grey hair with coverage issues..we both learned with this discussion. I pledge to bring myself back here again when I need supplies and not go to regular traditional boring old places..You go too!! 10 stars for employee knowledge and helpfulness, simple 5 stars for store stock-it's got everything I need plus some nice things I didn't need but bought anyhow. Still spent less than $100.00 for 2 mini flat irons, plenty of color and developer, shampoo and a nice filler for the shampoo to keep my red going. GREAT SPOT

I was about to leave when another lady from across the store told me "we are not a retail store we are a wholesale!" No smiles, instead I got glares from both ladies. I apologize I have no idea what this store is about, but I think a kind, quick description of what your store would be a better way to redirect customers, or clueless people like me.‍

I am thanking my lucky stars I didn't follow textbook orthodontic advice I was given in the past! I am over the moon excited to have found Aesthetic Smiles--no joke. I told her the basics on my intake form, and after my exam she knew things about me that other dentists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and physicians have told me. She did not skip a beat! Plus, she connected it all in such a way that I am very impressed! It would be amiss to not mention Heidi, who did my cleaning. She explained things before, during, and after my cleaning. Again, I learned more from her than any other hygienist. Instead of "there's some bleeding, so try to floss more regularly and keep brushing twice a day"...I learned about the current state of my teeth and gums, and how to best care for them now. It wasn't the typical brush twice a day and floss advice. All I can say is THANK YOU. Last, the reception staff is Friendly (yes, with a capital F!), and takes time to work out scheduling, billing, and insurance. No rush or frustration with the industry, which seems pretty common place. I have never left a dentist with this sense of excitement for the future, and I've enjoyed all of my previous dentists and dental experiences. Really! I had to write this review immediately, and I wasn't planning on writing one at all. If you're looking for the standard run of the mill in-and-out good enough cleaning, this practice is not for you. If you want answers and information along with a holistic approach to health, give Aesthetic Smiles team a call.

Since then, my impression from speaking to other permanent make up practices is that perhaps he does not do this procedure very often. Sure, better numbing agent probably would've helped. But green pus out of both eyes? Had to see an opthalmologist, so this procedure got more expensive. Would've been better off seeing someone who cost more but had more experience.
