Kelly has her own place now and she really pays attention to what you want. She is warm and kind, too! My highlights are gorgeous and she does a careful and complete job with the cut and blowdry. She keeps her rates reasonable, which is much appreciated in this time of inflation and decreased income for many people. Highly recommended!! read more

The salon has moved is no longer inside the Kress building, but just down the street a bit, about a block south of the building. It was a pleasure having Kelly cut my hair today. Many stylists are not that great at cutting men's hair, but Kelly understood what I wanted and did great. She is a gifted stylist. Nice atmosphere and a very clean establishment, with very fair pricing. Definitely recommend. read more

I am so happy with the haircuts I get from Robyn. Always perfect. I have thinning straight hair and she does an excellent simple cut every time. When I moved to Daytona Beach I was worried about finding a good salon. Fortunately I tried my first Florida haircut at Salon on Beach with Robyn and have set that worry aside. read more

Finally found the business card so I could leave a review for Deleah as well. I got a much-needed haircut before my brother's wedding. I can't begin to say how happy I am with this haircut. Robyn did an exceptional job. My mom and I are here visiting from NY and randomly found this Salon online. On a whim I decided to cut off about 9 inches. I couldn't have asked for a more elegant and sophisticated cut. My mother's hair came out just as beautiful! Robyn was also very sweet and great to chat with. I will definitely be making an appointment next time I come down! I highly recommend her! read more

My husband and I are spending our second winter in Daytona Beach. This year we were lucky enough to find Salon on Beach and KELLY. She did a fantastic job on my husband's hair, and a great job on my cut and color. She listened to what we wanted and took a lot of time to make sure she got it like we wanted it. When I returned recently for the exact same service, they charged me $80-- a 100% increase from the original price. When I questioned it, I was told the new price starts at $55 and still insisted I pay $80. The owner refused to come out and speak with me, instead sending the receptionist. To make it worse, they even threatened to call the police if I didn't pay the full amount. That's not how you treat paying customers. Some people have no business owning a salon if they can't deal with customers the right way--with honesty, professionalism, and respect. If prices have increased, they should clearly inform clients before the service is done and confirm if that's acceptable--instead of trying to trick people into paying more and using intimidation tactics. I've had blowouts all over the U.S., and I've never experienced anything like this. It was completely unacceptable. I will never return. If you value fair pricing and decent customer service, stay far away from this place.

The place had great reviews, but all employees need to be aware of their piercing policy. Luckily, they recommended a great place down the way.

Wow. I have been searching for a GREAT hairdresser in Daytona Beach for almost 3 years now...thank God, I found her! Kelly is AMAZING. I have a bad habit of being very vague when I try to explain what I want done to my hair and this didn't stop her for one moment. She asked me a few questions to get an idea of where I was headed and then knew exactly what to do. And let me tell you, she read my mind. My hair is a gorgeous shade and she provided a great trim that gave my hair bounce and sexy sophistication. My hair's shine is back and it actually falls the way it should with barely any time spent maintaining it. I am so ecstatic to have found her and will never go to anyone else! Kelly Bofamy, owner of Salon on Beach is the very best stylist ever. She has been my stylist for over 16 years and I always get compliments on my fabulous hair, thanks to Kelly. I love this salon location as it's in the historic Kress building, a few stores down from Angell and Phelps Chocolates. I always find a parking spot on Beach Street and making appointments is easy with Kelly as she always accomodates my busy schedule. I was lucky enough to have discovered Kelly when I first moved to Daytona Beach. She is fantastic. I have very thick difficult hair and often described it as having a bush on my head. Too busy to spend much time on it and just lived with it until Kelly performed miracles. She listened to my concerns and came up with styling, coloring, and products for me that make my hair look the best it ever has. And I don't have to spend a lot of time maintaining it. If you haven't yet discovered Salon On Beach you ought to. And I'm looking forward to my first spray tanning with Frankie there too!!
