I decided to book an appointment after having been referred by a current client. I'm so glad I did! Upon entering, I was greeted by a personalized welcome sign with my name on it. As I set on the lobby, I was offered a refreshing tropical lemonade and a warm neck wrap for relaxing tired shoulder/neck muscles. Other beverages are available and you can opt for a cool neck wrap. After completing a brief new client form, I received a brief third of the studio and a synopsis of what sets Elite Feet apart from other nail salons. Some of the things that were mentioned included the extensive training and certifications of the staff (above & beyond the minimum requirements for a nail tech), the type of products used, and even the tools, utensils, and pedicure chairs were top of the line. Everyone was super friendly, my pedicure was beautiful, my feet felt soft, and I even received a bonus gift of a product sampler upon leaving. I enjoyed the personalized attention and appreciated the thoughtfulness that was infused into my total experience! Thank you, Elite Feet! Thank you, Kate Titus!

They use Vagaro for their booking system so you can choose the time and day and service quite easily. If you're visiting for the first time you do have to book the Advanced Pedicure for 1st timers. It's a comprehensive visit to discuss your foot needs and issues. They take foot care seriously here and provide the best products to help. This is not your typical run of the mill pedicure place. It's better! The space is very inviting. From the moment you walk into the lobby to the minute you step into the main area and nail room, it's welcoming! I was nicely greeted by Karen whom offered me a yummy berry lemonade they make in house. She also asked if I preferred a cold neck wrap or hot. I chose hot. It was total relaxation from the beginning! I was already hooked before Kate came to get me for my service. Once I got to the nail suite Kate explained the process and each tool and product being used. It was nice to learn and see proper technique being done. The space is intimate as there is one pedicure chair and one manicure station so you truly get the techs undivided attention. I love that the owner is all about supporting local women owned businesses and some other out of state businesses that give back to the community by offering gifts and products in their shop. After my pedicure I went on a little shopping spree and bought some things for myself and a gift for a friend. I rebooked and can't wait to go back in 9 weeks.

When I requested that, they said no problem and we both sat down. The woman there did my friends pedicure and the man there did my nails (there was noone else there). When I first sat down he took out cuticle nippers and started to try to pick the dip off of my nails which is the complete incorrect way to remove it! I stopped him and told him that my nails were very thin from using gel polish for so long and that's why I had dip on them (to protect them), and he needed to soak it off to remove it properly. He did, and then started to apply acrylic to my nails. I stopped him and said that I wanted dip, not acrylic. Both employees persisted to try to convince me that I needed acrylic and that dip wasn't good for thin nails (I know that's not true from my regular nail tech at home). He told me that he couldn't do dip because he didn't have the materials, although I saw them right there next to me on the shelf. He tried to tell me that he didn't have the bonder, only the powder. I told him that he should've told me when I first arrived before he even touched my nails that they couldn't accommodate my request, as I specifically asked for dip powder. At first I stopped him and said I'd just get nothing, but then decided to just get a regular manicure. All along they are trying to convince me to get acrylic and being very rude, pushy and argumentative. I explained the reasons I didn't like acrylics (I'm very familiar - I wore them for years) which included how thick they were and the maintenance of getting them filled - and he said that he could do them very thin and natural and they'd last a month (I know that's not true). I reluctantly agreed to give it a try. I should've known better and should've stopped there. He rushed through, made them VERY thick, and ended up cutting my cuticle until it bled with his drill. I pulled away and said "ouch!" and he didn't even apologize. He rushed through the gel topcoat and when I left didn't realize that they weren't completely cured and were sticky, let alone how thick and awful they looked. They charged me $50 for this when the dip manicure I initially requested (and they said no problem before I sat down) would've been $35. I now will be returning to my regular nail tech close to home asking him to remove this mess from my nails and do what I initially asked for, hoping my nails underneath are not completely destroyed.
