My guy got his hair cut here for a big event for a trim up for a fade. Had to immediately drive to another salon to fix my guys hair for a big event - hair was really choppy and uneven (horrifying). Thank goodness another place (American Male) was skilled and so over the top helpful and fixed the mess. I had an appointment here, too (I would have cancelled if it wasn't too late) and the Salon Mia owner was rude, out of place and had an attitude - not what I want to deal with immediately before a big event. She seemed OK but right before hand, she must have gotten plans because I really just got the feeling that she was in a hurry to leave. I got a call the day before my big event asking if we could leave early and go somewhere else when we had a set and agreed upon schedule to stay there a specific amount of time. Her use of "honey" got to be demeaning and annoying. I told her my hair was pulling and she basically said too bad that's how it has to be. I got pissed after she repeated said I needed a drink (I specifically told her I don't drink) and started taking pics without asking me or my girls and got a major attitude when I asked not to post on social media. She said "well I just want to send it to your dad". First of all, no you didn't and secondly, on a big day that my Dad will be at, why would you even think that a picture from my salon would be appropriate. Later I heard about my girls being posted on Facebook and had to request them taken down. That should have been request in advance instead of me having to hear about it later.
Prices are high for the area and not worth the haircut or bad service, especially if you have to get another haircut elsewhere to fix it.
Went in here another time and they are busy talking with each other about the latest gossip and not focusing on the customer.
I'm never going here, again, no matter how urgent the situation and recommend not stepping foot in this place, especially for any kind of special event. Or haircut. Or kindness. read more
