Imagine waking up and hating your hair everyday. You call here and make your appointment with a stylist. There's a bit of a wait, but your hairs been a mess for months so it's worth it. Upon entering, the salon will strike you as an upscale experience (pleasant surprise for Amarillo). While you wait you're offered a beverage, usually a wine, water or pop. Then the magic happens. You meet your stylist. You confab and come up with a plan. Show your goals and tell them what you want, but sometimes what you want can't be obtainable in one session. You're starting a path to perfect hair and these are the first steps. Trusting your stylist and laying the foundation for your ideal hair. I went in hating my hair. I showed Shauna (she's amazing) what I wanted. We discussed it and came up with a game plan to get my the perfect hair. After our first appointment she was able to put me on a path to my ideal hair style. I left with more confidence and actually loved my hair, even though we werent even at our final destination. I had regular visits to the salon working on my end goal. I've met so many of the girls there and I can tell you it's so fun and entertaining. 8 hours in a chair never feels like 8 hours when I'm there. All the staff is pleasant and work together like a giant family. I almost hate writing a good review... only because I don't want to share my hidden gem. I have been seeing Shauna Harris for over a decade and have not once left disappointed! She cuts and highlights my hair 2-3x a year. She always knows my color (I'm a blond) and how to cut it to my expectations so that it will always look amazing. If I'm ever in doubt on the color or the type of cut to do she backs up her opinion with facts and it's always right. My hair is very important to me, I will cry if it sucks so know that I will, without a doubt, not see anyone else. I have also received multiple compliments on my highlights and cut that most of the people have asked for her number. 98% of them are people that just see me out and about and don't know me by name. 5 stars! 10/10 recommended! read more

When I moved to a tiny town in Texas, I was so upset to leave my first and only (at that point) hair stylist. I had the worst dead ends and frizzy hair before I found Julie J. at Lola Paige. I was bummed at first because I had to drive 2 hours not knowing if my hair was going to be saved. The first impression with Julie settled all my doubts immediately. Not only did she make my 3ft. When I first started going to Shauna, my hair was so damaged from a previous stylist at a different salon. I have been going to Salon Lola Paige with Mireya Anchondo for about 5 years now & she is amazing!! When I first went to her my hair was orange in bleach and fried, she told me she didn't feel comfortable adding more bleach to my hair, so instead she did what was best. I have been going to Julie at Lola Paige for about 6 years now, and she always does a great job. I have naturally curly hair and it was hard for me to find someone that knew what they were doing because cutting curly hair can be tricky. I also like the atmosphere of this salon.
