I "collect" massages from all over the world and I definitely have my favorite spas. But my friend really wanted to get one so I went along expecting to be disappointed. When you walk inside it's a nice rental office space, nicer than most in Amarillo that I've seen. The masseuse met us at the door and I sat in the waiting area while my friend had her hour massage first. Then it was my turn. This young lady is petite and quiet. I really enjoy deep tissue and was afraid she couldn't do it hard enough for me to enjoy the massage. But after changing and getting on the table, she came in quietly and got straight to work. I was pleasantly shocked how strong she was. Until this massage, I've never been able to relax completely without thinking. My mind was so clear, it was the best feeling ever, to completely let go of everything going on in my life and relax. I can honestly say this was the best massage I've ever had. i found out about this place through "groupon" and was able to get a one hour massage and a hand…read moreand foot treatment. when i first go there i was concerned she only has one room and so everything seem a bit cluttered i was worried she may not be as professional as i had first hoped. once the massage started though she was phenomenal. she kept the room dim and used the most amazing lavender vanilla ( she gave me a choice and this was my favorite but they where all great) aroma therapy.she put a large heating pack on my back (it was warm but not too hot and covered my whole back very relaxing!) and began with working on my legs while the heat helped the muscles in my back relax. when she finished my legs the removed the heating pack from my back and began to massage there putting a little more focus on my shoulders and neck as i had said that was where i hold the most tension when she asked me to turn over and to my surprise provided me with another treat most places I've been in Amarillo don't, she put a cool pack over my eyes which kept any light from interrupting my relaxation (even though the room was still dim) and felt amazing (it's something i do at home too for headaches and relaxation before bed) then applied the paraffin wax to my hands and feet before continuing the massage. i can only imagine that this is how it feels to be a pampered fairy tale princess.when she removed the paraffin wax she applied lotion to my hands and feet and did some more massage hear and there. it was so wonderful and i left feeling like i had just had a two weeks vacation. i will be returning as well as recommending her to my coworkers and family.
