I am a male and the only other time I had a manicure done was before my wedding nearly 30 years ago. The shop was very small and the couple that worked there are an actual couple, husband and wife. I had been in this place a few times before but only to pick up Amazon items that I had ordered. I liked the place - cozy but not claustrophobic. The husband gave me my manicure and it was a most enjoyable experience. We chatted about my hands and how I use my fingers and nails, his wife and kids, and their vacations. A very pleasant fellow. He washed my hands, clipped my nails, filed, buffed, took care of the cuticles, washed my hands again this time with a pumice soap, and then applied oil/lotion to my hands.
