Salon Edera is AMAZING! After getting my hair literally butchered by another salon, she completely transformed my hair for the better. Fantastic little gem of a shop. Sisters, one does nails in back and the other does hair up front. Persian vibe, colorful, jewelry for sale, cute doggie that is there to give a feel of hanging at some ones home. I went for a pedicure. The bath water was customized to how hot I liked it. She even refilled when it got cool. Love that. She uses quality products. Does not do acrylics, just manicures with gel color. There wasn't a ton of colors to choose from so if you have a favorite, like me, than bring your own to be sure. You can tell they've worked together a long time. The sister comes back and asks questions, asks her t answer her calls, had a constant alarm going off. It was a bit comical gals and you can tell they are close. She did a fantastic job, I wish I got a monger massage. I think she was distracted a bit and almost forgot. Other than that, Loved it. They are in the alley off 101. Steps to the salon, so easy to get to once you know where to go. She described it to me and it was easy to find. I will be back to get my manicure done when ready. read more

It was my first time with her salon and I was a tad nervous because I had just gotten two bad haircuts in a row from another salon, I was nervous and my hair was getting shorter than I wanted. I had to trust someone though, so I read her reviews and called her salon, she called me back within hours and she was kind enough to listen to my concerns and set an appointment right away as she could tell I was feeling kinda low with my current hair. I walked into her salon and was greeted by some of her clients, such as good vibe, I kinda knew right away this was a good place to come. Lida appeared with a smile and said she knew what to do as she examined my hair with care and attention to detail, she noted my concerns and then after a deep condition she started correcting my uneven hair. I love that she was understanding and we both giggled at my funny haircut from another salon, as she corrected it with great precision and attention to detail. I was thrilled, I could tell she had confidence, as she didn't hesitate to fix my uneven cut, she was all for it no problem!! Lida is also kind to your hair, she deep conditioned mine and combed it out with gentle hands something I really appreciate. For the record I feel that bob haircuts or shorter haircuts require a lot of skill & there isn't much wiggle room for errors like with long hair, she did an amazing cut, I likened it to a haircut I got at a Vidal Sasson Salon years ago, I never thought my hair could look this good again. I can say Lida has a lot of experience and an artistic eye for balance and creating a beautiful hair cut and blow dry style. I am so happy today and look forward to coming back here! my normal hairstyle length is usually just the past my shoulder; however, during a 2 year span, I went to 6 different stylists, and each salon visit my once long hair got shorter shorter with each cut and was cut unevenly, couldn't get a blunt hair line, and my hair had been so over overlayed because these stylists cut & styled my hair according to what they wanted instead of what I requested & what my hair demands & needs. My hair became so unmanageable & lifeless during these 2 years that I just wore a hat or scarf thruout those two years. My hair has unique textures: wavy and curly in the back, kinky on the left side, straighter on the right, and bone-straight at the crown. The best Cuts work my hair is dry, but most stylists ignored these details. Lida, however, tailors my cuts & style my hair according to my hairs natural pattern along with my desire. In addition to this, after each cut, Lida graciously invites me to comeback within the week to make any adjustments to the cut that Im not completely satisfied with. Lida is amazing! She was supposed to go home but made an exception for me anyways she stayed late from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, for clarification she had been working since 8 am that day.
