I've an amazing month long trip in 6 weeks that required an equally fabulous new do! I've never been to a salon and my hair has never had something I'd consider a style. It was just something I washed and went about life. A close friend suggested Salon D'Mar so I reached out. BEST DECISION (even easier than Capital One) EVER! Mishel was receptive to my idea of a cut and color of black and purple. We were all set to go...until I saw a different idea I liked more and ruined the entire plan. Once again, Mishel listened to my new request and got what I needed for a purple and grey cut and color. I went to my appointment yesterday and 6 hours later had what I wanted. The salon does everything from nails to permanent make up. The place is clean and upscale. Fair pricing and good vibes/energy. The best part are the stylists. Veronica (owner) is very professional, creative, STYLISH and totally down to earth. Her passion emanates thought out the Salon. I first found this Super Fab Salon through a referral for lashes with Cassandra (best lash girl in Ventura County). After a couple of lash appointments I made an appointment with Veronica for a color correction (from another salon) and hair extentions. Very Very Very bad experience with Veronica its been one year and seven hair cuts later and I am still very sad she never returned my msg and I paid her 260 plus she sed I would need about 189 in after care home products please please think twice before you let her touch your hair she also send one of her staff to go to licor store to buy tall cans to drink with there lunch then after she dint even know me randomly starts talking about her personel life and man issues I thin that was the alcohol that kicked in I am not a person to put any one on blast but as soon as she takes your money she will never call u back just be ware and if for some reason you do go report any bad service from this awfull careless person. read more

Veronica is the best hair stylist ever she knows exactly what to do with all different hair types and is a color specialist, my color turned out exactly how I wanted it ! When I got my hair done it felt sooo soft and I've never had that experience before ... also My hair was completely fried in the front from a previous hair dresser and she gave me top quality products that already had my hair feeling back to normal in a week ! Please be very aware when coming to this "salon". I went here for the first time to get waxing done and it was the worst I have ever received and paid 88 dollars for it. Which is less expensive then the place I usually go too. I guess the saying is true YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET. I had my eyebrows, lip, and Brazilian done. My lip look like it still needs to be done and my Brazilian area was burnt and now peeling plus still needed to be waxed again. So again I say please be aware of this place. I called Erica to speak with her in hopes of coming to a resolution on all of this but she said "she didn't know what to do but she will have her "manager/owner" Veronica call me back to handle this.". I have reached out to Erica for several days now and I'm "sorry" to say I have not received a phone call from Veronica or Erica.So what I got from this experience was burns, peeling skin, and having to spend more money on some one to wax correctly. -Olivia read more

Had the WORST experience Ever!!!! Got quoted on a style and turned out nothing like what I asked for. Worst case is that she is too busy to help me fix or take my calls. I thought this place would be good but for what you pay its a shame their work doesnt reflect quality or professionalism.
