Got any money on you? If you want to get properly fleeced without realising then this is the place for you. The money meter starts the minute you enter this place and continues. I went for a basic hair color and ended up paying more than $500, as my stylist kept adding things like protein this and that. The stylist after my cut immediately booked up another appointment for me, which I said I am not sure if I want, she said casually, you can cancel if you want. Then I get a message a month later that I did not show up for my appointment and get an invoice for $150. I have no clue who is giving them good reviews, their service is not good at all, I have been there a few times and tried different stylists and always have been disappointed. read more

I haven't stopped crying for three hours. I asked for a trim, and left the building with basically bangs. She never asked me what I wanted, or checked in. By the time I realized how much she was cutting, it was too late and too short. Next week I return to high school after spring break, feeling ugly, and hating my hair. I know it will grow back, but teenagers can be ruthless. I began crying in the chair because it was getting to the point where she was making some of my hair 2 inches long. When she saw I was crying she said, "I've just had the worst day!" and while cutting my hair she continually talked about her therapist and medication. I was glad she felt so open to communicate to me; but wish it hadn't got in the way of my haircut. This all happened after pushing my appointment out an hour. Then I said, "Maybe it'd blend better if you'd straighten it" and she responded, "Well, that will cost more and my next client is already here" as tears streamed down my face. My girlfriend went here for a natural light brown coloring and trim. They bleached her hair and ended up cutting off over a 16" of hair WITHOUT asking. When she wears her hair down it looks like lines of color (bleached which the lady didnt tell her she was using)and the hair is extremely choppy. Shes devistated at the whole experience and the only way to fix is to re color and cut more hair off. Shes going from super healthy hair down to her lower back to now hair up to her shoulders all because of a "trim and light coloring" at this place. There resolution, money back... how about you give her extentions to fix the problem you created. Let hope they at least donated her hair to locks of love. read more

A great edgy Salon with fun music, I was warmly greeted and enjoyed some coffee before my Haircut. During our Consultation I introduced myself as a fellow Stylist and without any intimidating vibes we continued our Appointment with relaxation and pleasant conversation. If I could give no stars, I would. Last year I believed they could could me a new look - without discussing what my options are, the stylist chopped off over a foot of my hair with long strands left in the front to cover up what she did. The owner kept passing me by with an applaud look... she finally said to come sit in her chair to "fix it" and it was awful. This has always been my go-to salon when it was Tres Bon but I took my daughter there about a month ago and it was not a successful trip. She wanted to get rid of her split ends but keep some length and what we got was a barely noticeable trim and an overpriced and ineffective split end treatment from a seemingly inexperienced and somewhat critical stylist. We left $100 poorer and still needing to fix the problem. Then we talked to our neighbor a couple weeks later and she had a similar bad experience with the same stylist there. Worse than ours actually. Seems like it might have been better if we'd gotten an appt with the owner but we aren't about to go back and find out. The hunt for a new salon is on. read more

I had an appointment this morning with April. When I went there they told me she is sick and cannot make it. They did not even called me to cancel the appointment so that I don't go all the way there. I had to get babysitter to make this appointment. They did not even offer me a discount or any think else to keep their customer of 3 years happy. Very disappointed they don't value their customer. Where do I start? Dana was so nice, and took my hair to dull and dry to voluminous and shiny within 45 minutes! She is always so efficient and fast, while making my blonde hair look beyond perfect. Her hair cuts and split end treatments are also spectacular. I've always been so picky with my hair but she really takes her time so listen to what I really want and always go above and beyond to meet my wishes. My haircut came out significantly shorter than I request. I requested a 1/2 inch trim and the hairdresser took about 3-4 inches. It was also very uneven (almost asymmetrical) and choppy. I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. Beware! read more

If you are a man, DO NOT get your hair cut here! They have NO IDEA what they're doing. It's as if they've never seen a man's hair before, let alone cut it. I asked for a simple slicked back undercut, aka the Brad Pitt "Fury" cut from the movie of same name. A very popular hairstyle since 2013. Receptionist assured me that they had lots of experience with that style and it wouldn't be a problem. The stylist had no idea what she was doing, had never heard of it and couldn't be bothered to watch the 3 minute YouTube video I tried to show her on how to give that haircut. I should have walked out right then, but I didn't. It took her and the older more experienced stylist over an hour just to buzz the sides and back. They couldn't do a simple clipper fade. I had to give them instructions and that still didn't work. It became a salvage operation at that point. I made them just buzz it all one length, and they never even touched the top (thank god). And they fucked up the part line where it goes from short too long. It was a disaster. A total joke. Worst haircut experience ever. Then she says "Don't worry I'm not charging you". I laughed, "Good, cuz I wasn't gonna pay for that!" If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I went back to get the horrible dye job fixed because the color was coming out. First of all, the salon owner and hair stylist were kind of rude and suggested that they had told me the color would bleed everywhere (they did not). But I wanted my hair fixed so I ignored them. Then they charged me $65 to fix my hair. They proceeded to bleach it and then re-dye it a dark red color even though I requested to go back to my natural dark brown color. Anyway, about a week and a half later-maybe two weeks, this color is STILL bleeding out. I go for a run and I get red all over my shirt. I take a shower and the red comes out. I use a towel to dry my hair, red. THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT COLORING HAIR!!!!!! I definitely will never go back here. I'm pretty sure they ruined my hair which I worked for a long time to grow out and get healthy. read more

I left in tears! Sarah was very nice but the worst cut and color ever! She didn't even rinse all the color out! The brand of color they use is awful! after 4 1/2 hours of being in the salon my hair is bright orange! They are Very behind on the latest cuts and color. I left a message to see if someone could fix it like they promised but no response. I am devastated! I should have followed my gut when I saw the red lip leather couch and tacky decorations! The spray paint desire sign trashy! I should have read the reviews before I went there. it looks like this is a very common practice. This is a nice area we need a salon that knows something about style and keeps up with the trends. I will close with this the other clue I ignored is the Stylist Hair that works there.
