Outside the funky display of shirts and wigs caught my eye.I am a sucker for anything Pee-Wee Herman, what can I say...I was down for this mission rolling by, my kind of place. This place gets busy though and it's a tight squeeze at times but there is just enough space to get through and get somewhere to take it all in. I used to work at a really huge costume store in San Antonio that was and still is a local favorite and this place although teeny-tiny gave me the same vibe in a way. All along the upper portion of the shop you will find it is very well stocked with a variety of costume-mask and a variety of fancy wigs.Costume accessories & makeup. The owner is a pretty playful guy it seems. He showed me his German Bagel & then pulled a pretty good surprise on me that gave me a laugh. It was quite the surprise,I laughed. Out loud.. I can't tell you much more about that because it's classified information but you'll just have to see yourself. Other than that you will find gag gifts, magic tricks, plastic turds, googly glasses, puppets, stuffed toys and a heap of other items.Go knock yourself out & see what kind of nonsense you find. The brace is/was covered by my insurance but the billing department wanted to get paid Twice and when I refused to pay I called my insurance and insurance called this place and started asking questions about why they were trying to double dip and rip me off? And by the way the brace I got ripped at the seams and I had to throw it away cause it wasn't usable. So I ended up just going to Walgreens and getting a new brace for 3x less than what this place tried to charge me!! No I would never recommend coming here especially if you need a wrist brace!!

As a man…read morestepping into a ladies wig shop, I can't begin to tell you how far out of my comfort zone I was in. I was truely about to walk in to another dimension. And as soon as I walked through that door, I was just blown away by what I saw and I was compelled to yelp this new reality even though I have absolutely no experience in this field. So here goes. This business is located in an older small strip center with 3 other businesses. It is located right on Airport Boulevard by MLK with 15 parking spaces. Needless to say, this is primarily a ladies wig shop, but they do have a smidge of men's hair pieces. As soon as you walk through the door, you are immediately taken aback by the hundreds of mannequin heads staring back at you sporting every imaginable hairstyle. It's enough to make you stop in your tracks thinking you've entered the twilight zone. The shop is about the size of a small efficiency apartment, but it is crammed full of wigs on heads of every conceivable make and design. They have both synthetic and human hair wigs. The quality of the hair pieces here are of great quality and it's easy to drop over $100 or more on a wig here, especially on real hair. My wife decided on a $80 synthetic wig as the perfect choice. The owner was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. The pictures explain it all. I may not be back, but my wife will.
