On the first and third occasion, the associate at the register was not that kind of helpful, but the young lady that DID help me..was. The second trip was better the young lady at the front was soooo nice and VERY helpful. I felt both welcomed AND valued. Sooo, I'm sure I'll visit again for a final judgement.

I sent pictures of the style I wanted and was given a price.... when I arrived and expressed my concern that the hairstyle would be to heavy Tia assured me it would not be and other style I showed her would pull out my edges. So it was agreed we would go with the first style. Never did she say she was doing my hair different or making the braids smaller.... but after she had finished she asked if I liked it and I told her it did not look like the picture I sent her and she continued to ask to see while doing my hair.... she then stated she does not include curly hair in braiding... this was not told to me before this moment... she said she could add curly hair and I wish I had said NO as I looked a fool with strains of curly hair coming out of my braids. She took pictures of my hair and posted them online and after a night of sleep and dismay that I was traveling out of town looking a mess I sent her a text asking her to remove the pictures and I hated my hair only to be told I was old enough to have more tact and grace as well as the pictures served there purpose.... I wished she was professional enough to tell me she was not capable of providing the style requested... over 3 hours for 10 ugly braids!

I was greeted as soon as I walked in with big smiles from people who asked me if I needed help finding anything. I told them what I was looking for, and the lady found me several options and took the time to walk me over to the exact areas. I was in and out quickly and efficiently. I had an issue later with one of the accessories falling apart. But when I came back, a different lady apologized and explained they had been having issues with that particular item and offered to replace or refund with no hassle. Sometimes I worry about the quality of the items here. In the past I have bought items from Spirit that were pricey and didn't hold up. So I use this as a last resort. But the stellar customer service and the no hassle replacements may be factors that keep me returning, at least for accessories and free clown love.

The costumes are split up into different groupings ranging from Disney, movies/TV shows, and then to your classic Halloween costumes including the traditional college girl short skirts and animal ears. Lol! There's a section devoted to odds and ends to make up the rest of your costume including wigs, face make-up, and accessories. Finally, the store carries Halloween decor for your home and a few fun odds and ends to decorate for your Halloween parties. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they opened pretty recently so they're still getting the lay of the land themselves. Overall, I found the wig I was looking for and I'm set for my Halloween party tomorrow!
