Want yer her' did? Go to Sandra. I have been with her for about 7 years (she has been at a couple of different salons) and she now has a great space at Salon Chirella (away from the often obnoxious, loud music). I have pretty short hair (inverted A-line) and she does it perfectly every time. read more

Overall I give this place a 1star. To begin the salon is oddly positioned from the road. One can tell quickly it was something of something else. Once you find it you quickly realize there is handicapped parking but no handicapped access. There is no elevator. I asked about this and was told the building is exempt. The salon is located on the second floor. The stairs are steep. They are carpeted an old 1980s blue color so be careful because it's puckery. Having a disability I found this challenging. I thought with such high reviews it was worth the struggle. Its 2018 people WTF! Anyways once reaching the salon it is quite dated. It has a comfortable feel though I will give it that strangely. The staff are all related. I thought Tyler was quite nice. I had a cut and color. He seemed confident. He cut my hair into an inverted bob. He swore this would lay under. I told him my hair is very fine and getting curlier and it doesn't take layers well. Okay, so fast forward 2 weeks and my hair is looking like an Xmas tree with divisions in layers all around. Hmmmm. So I called his mother answered the phone. I politically correct stated could I stop by and have Tyler look at my hair I am not having a fun time trying to style this. The mother proceeded to get very defensive and tell me nobody complains about Tyler's work. She then tells me Tyler squeezed me in when he didn't have to. She stalled around and basically said he was very busy in the future and was booked full. I am sick and tired of peoples egos. This behavior is unprofessional. The staff should have been more than welcome to bring me back in. Mom would not allow this and Tyler never returned my calls. BEWARE! read more

Tyler is amazing! My boyfriend and his mom have gone to him for yeeeears so I figured I should check him out to see if he could make my hair goals come true. I'm a dark brunette wanting to go blonde basically and he has worked magic on my hair and always spends the necessary time to get it right and always comes up with more suggestions that we can try to get me to where I want to be. He's always amazing to converse with and makes the appointment feel more like a gab session with a friend than just a hair appointment. He's always so welcoming as soon as I walk in, even if I'm just there for my boyfriends appointment. Tyler always gives my boyfriend a beautiful beard trim, taming the craziness that tends to happen between cuts. He keeps him looking real handsome. We will continue to come here for as long as they're open. I couldn't recommend this salon enough! read more

Tyler is my guy! Nothing against the rest of the charming Chirella crew, they're great too. I started going here when I lived 20 minutes away - I now live 50 minutes away but still consider the trek well worth it. The only reason I might not give this place the 5-stars it deserves is because then ya'll might try to fill up my guys already busy schedule! But for real, five star establishment and folks! read more

I will never go anywhere else. GREAT STAFF. I go to Tyler, but they all do amazing. I get compliments on my hair ALL the time, especially on the color. I'm blonde and go in just for some highlights and a trim. But I've also done my hair here for special events and that also turned out to be a great experience. HIGHLY recommend. read more

I had my hair cut by Kathy yesterday. I'm traumatized. This is by far the WORST hair cut I've had in decades. I literally went straight home, washed the HANDFUL of product she lathered onto my head and checked out the cut. Then I began crying, and I immediately called another salon begging for a correction appt. I arrived with shoulder length hair with long bangs which I'd grown out for six months to be able to get the long asymmetrical pixie with a distinct part just above my ears to extend around the back of my head and shaved BELOW the part. She never wet my hair to get a distinct part so that was nixed. She said she can't do razor designs, another aspect I wanted nixed. Then she pulled out her clippers and went to town. By the time it was over I was just trying to get out of there. I spent $100 for an absolute disaster. There are chunks of my hair missing and I guess she didn't think I'd notice what an incompetent hairdresser she is. I'm new to the area and this has left such a horrible taste in my mouth. I will post photos when I get my correction. It's absolutely awful, I'm almost 50 and this is the WORST haircut/style I've ever had. I will be attempting to get a refund. If you want a cut that looks like you experienced as a 5 year old in kindergarten then Kathy is your woman. Otherwise..steer clear! read more

I have been going to Amanda for over 10 years. She is amazing with foils and cuts! Her husband Tyler has been my daughters stylist for about 5yrs when she started high school. She is now away at college and won't let anyone else do her hair. He is great about fitting her in when she is home. We wouldn't go anywhere else. The owner is great with clients and knows how to keep great people working for her. Nicole is a great stylist for updo's and did my daughters for every school dance perfectly! read more

Tyler is da man. He reminds me of Adam Sandler from "You don't mess with the Zohan."

Kathleen. She's my one and only. Her skill and professionalism is beyond compare. I would drive hours to see her. There's a reason she's always booked out. She makes my mom hair amazing, has the latest techniques and is extremely skilled. I absolutely adore her. read more

I finally found my hair people! A few days ago I went to another salon and got my hair completely messed up to the point of tears and even though Tyler is always booked out a ways he made time to squeeze me in to fix the cut the very next day and Kathleen got me in the day after that to correct the horrible foil job I received. This group of hairdressers are filled with the most compassion, are super fun/easy to talk to and truly care about your feelings and well being. They went out of their way to help me and made my hair look amazing! No more tears thanks to Tyler and Kathleen :) I am truly appreciative and so grateful I met these guys and highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much Tyler and Kathleen I love you guys! -Hayley Parker :) read more

Had my hair done today by Sarah. Looked for a new salon for a year being new to the area. I was very hesitant at trying someone new - Sarah was so friendly and professional! I was comfortable the moment I met her. The end result? Beautiful. It took a long time to find someone to match what I was I looking for in highlights. She is a keeper! read more

Everyone here is so nice. & my hair is finally the way i wanted it after two salons before this ! Thank you Marissa !!!

Had a Brazilian sugaring done by Brie and she was amazing! So fast, efficient and as painless as it could be. The cost was totally reasonable, too! Definitely found my new waxer! Bonus: Close to other stores too so it's easy to multitask a trip read more

Nicole at Salon Chirella is super talented. She did my hair for my wedding and it turned out absolutely beautiful. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and listened to my concerns about my hair falling flat. Not only did my hair look gorgeous, it held up for my entire wedding!! She's a perfectionist and it shows in her work. I highly recommend Nicole at Salon Chirella. read more

Great place! A little of a wait to get in but well worth it. Amanda is great at hair! She listens to what you have to say and does your hair how you want. Plus her coloring job is amazing! read more

I purchased a christmas gift for my daughter for services at Salon Chirella. I made sure I was specific about the services desired so I was able to make sure it was all covered by the gift certificate. When my daughter initially made an appt. she was told it would be six weeks. She thought it would be worth the wait so she booked an appt. The scheduler asked her lots of questions about the services desired and told her she would book her a 3-hour spot. When she arrived for her appt. she was greeted with, "So, you're just here for a cut, right?" When she explained she was there for more than a cut, she was told, "Well, I have an appt. at 1:00 (her appt. was for 12:00) so I can do the cut but you will have to come back in six weeks for the balance of the services. After a very unsatisfactory "customer service" experience, she got her money back and left. There was no apology from SC, there was no offer to move her 1:00 appt. to accommodate an appt. that was six weeks in the making and for which money had been paid 2 months ago. Ridiculous lack of professionalism read more
