They joked about how they could go home for the rest of the day after taking over 5000 dollars from her and now refuse to help her refund 2500 dollars in gift cards that were not given to the scammer and are 100% unused and have receipts. Dubious or poorly trained staff for a company that supposedly cares about preventing fraud. The entire staff should be ashamed for their part in taking my mothers money. If they had any morals they would realize the poor press this act can bring, but here we are: Do NOT buy here, they'll happily take your cash and leave you in the lurch, they're just as culpable as the scammer in taking an elderly ladies hard earned retirement money and joking about it. I have really been enjoying using it in the mornings or whenever the need arises for a shampoo in the last few weeks. I was very pleased with my purchase here and enjoyed this brand very much. This Ulta store is about like any other but I did like the item availability a bit more.

I have had a horrible infection that would not go away. Neither my primary care nor urgent care doctors could treat it, so it was vital I get in to a dermatologist. Apparently, there is a major shortage of dermatologists in the area, because I could not get an appointment with anyone in a 50 mile radius, despite calling at least 20 clinics and doctors. I was near tears when I called the Peninsula Skin clinic with Dr. Rasmussen, and found out that they, like everyone else, have a long waiting list. Melissa at the front desk must have heard the desperation in my voice, because she worked with me to find a solution and a time to come in. After my calling all those clinics, she was the first person who showed some concern and empathy. This caring attitude was present with all the staff during my appointment. The person who actually treated me was a Physician's assistant, Bill Bies. He understood that I needed prompt treatment to address all possible issues, along with taking samples and setting up a follow up appointment. After struggling with this infection for so long, it was a relief to find competent and professional care combined with empathy.

About 10 minutes later, they came back and said they didn't actually have a basic medication in stock because they had mixed up the brands when checking the shelf. That is concerning on its own, but the lack of communication made it even worse. Instead of confirming availability before having me wait, I was told I would need to drive all the way back once they decide to stock it again. At this point, it seems smarter to transfer the prescription somewhere more organized and professional. But the real cherry on top is that my pharmacy I would normally use won't even try a normal prescription transfer with this location, they state that it's impossible to get ahold of anyone here so I have to have my doctor in a whole new prescription. This place is a sad joke.

Waiting room frequently crowded, lack of privacy and every patient's problem can be heard. 4. $50 No Show penalty even if a few minutes late. You will be turned away. Ironic that I cannot charge them for my time. I have waited well over an hour past my appointment time three times now. 5. 3% charge for every credit card transaction for bill payment. 6. Calls from the clinic are often sent to my spam box because the calls are listed coming from Oregon not Silverdale, Wa. 7. When calling the office, first interaction will be with a Call Center representative. Impersonal and they often ask repetitive questions. 8. I suspected an infection under my skin biopsy site. I was told by the PA, it was "scar tissue". I flew out of the country and developed pain and redness the following day. Pus leaked out of the site. Had to drain it before it could heal. 9. I felt confident with the Primary dermatologist, however several times I was assigned an alternate physician. I did not feel he listened to me, he was dismissive and did not offer any goals of care. Continuity of care is lacking. 10. Received light box therapy. The disinfectant wipes was placed next to patient's skin wipes. Without my glasses on since I was wearing goggles, I picked up the wrong wipes for my skin. Some of these issues are stemming from Corporate mandates. There is such a shortage of dermatology clinics that are accepting new patients, I will consider a move if appointments were more accessible.

I have never personally been mistreated here though. I'm always greeted. On rare occasions where they are occupied when I enter, they end up checking up on me and making sure I'm okay. I'm always asked if I need help finding anything or if I have questions. A handful of times I asked for clarity on a product or their opinion & they always assisted. Sometimes they lack smiles but some people just aren't naturally bubbly and while that's a deal breaker for some customers it doesn't bother me. Great products. Great prices. Customer service is a very personal experience.
