Today, I came in 30min before close to get 2 things which would take me 5 minutes. She said as soon as I walked in "we close in 20mins just so you know" wow. So I'm looking for my color, and they changed the area where it was located. I asked her where it was and she said to look down the aisle I was just in. I was pretty annoyed because I couldn't find it anywhere, so I gave up and got a different brand instead. During check out, she was so frustrated with the customer before me cursing at her computer because it wasn't working. When I have seen her before, she is extremely impatient and short if you try to make conversation or ask questions. This bitch needs to get fired. Other than her, this place is great if you're looking for colors! They don't carry some hair products I use like Hempz or Pravana, but they have a bigger selection for men and for many other hair types.

I went to Cosmoprof to see if they had the color since they now carry Pravana. I wasn't greeted, I was yelled at across the room by the worker and she said "Are you Licensed?" I said yes and rolled my eyes. I asked a couple of questions because they didn't seem to have what I was looking for, AGAIN still rude. I'll continue to keep my buisness at Salon Centric, customer service is WAAAAY better!

Wow, wow, wow! I truly cannot begin to express my gratitude…read moreto the incredible staff at Alderwood Mall Lush. We celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday there, and not only were we blown away by how smoothly everything went, but every single parent reached out afterward to tell us what a hit the party was. We invited a large group of girls, and when all of them showed up, I'll admit we were nervous it might be overwhelming. Instead, it was the exact opposite. Every child was welcomed warmly and treated with such kindness and respect. We already love Lush for their strong moral stance and commitment to fighting animal testing, so we couldn't imagine a better place to spend our time and money. The girls played games, enjoyed face masks and lip scrubs, and fully experienced the magic of Lush. It was engaging, organized, and so much fun. When the mall opened, the staff didn't rush us out. They graciously worked around the change in pace and continued to make us feel completely welcome. Any small hiccups were handled seamlessly and professionally -- no one felt overlooked or disappointed. The team communicated with gentleness, patience, and clarity throughout the entire event. I would especially like to recognize Cece, Bryant, and Alana. The success of this party is truly due to their positive attitudes, flexibility, and attention to detail. They went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering hosting an event there. Thank you for making my daughter's birthday so special.

An employee named Alyce assisted us, and the way we were treated was incredibly unprofessional and accusatory. While we were simply trying to purchase a product, Alyce accused us of having a product that we had not paid for, even though we explained that it had already been purchased. Rather than listening to us or handling the situation respectfully, she continued to question us and even attempted to look into our purses. The entire interaction made us feel as though we were being treated like we had stolen something when we had done nothing wrong. What was most upsetting was how targeted and discriminatory the interaction felt. We did not feel welcomed, respected, or comfortable in the store. No customer should be made to feel like a thief simply for shopping, especially without any basis for that assumption. I left feeling , disrespected, and honestly shocked by the way the situation was handled. I expect much better customer service and professionalism from Aveda, and I hope management takes this experience seriously and addresses how customers are approached and treated at this location.

What sets the Alderwood location apart though is their fantastic customer service. This level of service is very hard to find. Aveda Alderwood is one of the few retailers that I can easily recommend to friends to visit. Once you learn how great they are, be sure to sign up to for their paid loyalty program (its a one time fee). The points add up quickly. Thanks to Katie, Liz, Jennifer and the rest of the team there for having such a fantastic store.

I ran into a small scheduling hiccup for my trial and Megan was incredibly accommodating and provided great customer service! Amber was my artist and she was AMAZING! Not only is she a sweet person, she's a great hair and makeup artist! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! I even made a last minute switch to my hair and Amber executed it perfectly! My hair and makeup still looked perfect when I took it off at the end of the day. Janet worked on my bridal party/family and was amazing too! Highly recommend AM beauty for your wedding

At my preview I was told my style could only be achieved through hair extensions agreeing to this as AM beauty is supposed to be the "experts", I felt like they pushed me into this decision. I don't feel like they listened to what I wanted even after I gave them plenty of detail and explained what I wanted in several emails. After purchasing two sets extensions AM still did not achieve the hairstyle I wanted on me but was able to on a new bride recently. This is after I expressed all of my hesitations in my many post preview emails. I was promised "Yes two sets will definitely help blend your natural hair without having to pull more hair back!" I think they do what they want instead of what you want. My wedding makeup (the bride) was so harsh and behind schedule. When asked "is it okay" when I'm already behind for my wedding what am I supposed to say?!? I will never get my wedding back and using AM beauty is a decision I will always regret. It is hard for me to even look at photos. Terrible experience. I recommend AM also follow up with brides post wedding in case they too feel reservations about coming forward.

I…read moreheard of this place through GILT but didn't buy a voucher because they run a "first time client" special for a one time tan for a couple dollars less. I'm glad they have the word Darling in their business name because this place sure is darling. Very cute, comfortable decor. Rachel is a sweetheart, very nice and made me feel comfortable. Now to the actual service... I'm not sure if this place is brand new but they need to make quite a few enhancements to the spray tanning process. I feel it's quite odd they do not have a restroom and should be required to. I'd also suggest a barrier cream for hands and feet for the client to apply, not the technician. The tech applies vaseline for you. Vaseline might not be sooo bad but I wish I would have applied it like I've done at other salons. My hands and feet turned out horrible. For your feet, you step on these sticky like sandals so the bottom of my feet looked so bad. Lastly, I wasn't fanned off at the end which resulted in some dark marks. Face turned out great though. Again, I love the decor and the gal who helped me but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon for a tan.

She has exceptional talent doing brows and shapes them to what naturally fits your face, not what is super trendy (microblading). We were traveling abroad this summer for a couple weeks and I was lamenting to Tomoko that I wouldn't be able to get my eyebrows done right before a big event we were attending. She floated the idea of brow lamination as a way to keep my eyebrows perky and lifted a little longer than usual. Usually I'm pretty skeptical of brow procedures, but I trusted Tomoko's talent and went with it after looking at photos of her work compared to other brow artists. I'm glad I did it! My eyebrows looked lifted and done for at least 3 weeks (would have been longer if i hadn't forgotten about not getting the brows wet in the first 24 hours). A quick brush in the morning to tidy them up and then some plucking underneath the brows - I didn't even need brow powder because the hair was set going in the same direction, making them look fuller. Highly recommend Tomoko as your brow artist and definitely the one to try out brow lamination with.
